Samsung released the SDK for the Edge a couple weeks ago, so be patient!
If you go into the galaxy app store I believe they have edge specific apps there.

all those are not direct for.. would love to use the edge like on the note.. the rest of the screen should move a bit to make place for the edge app and not simply overlay
With Alex on this, I would love to see the Note 4 edge functionality ported over. That was what I was expecting before the reveal with maybe something added rather than what we got which would have to have been better than it is to be described as underwhelming.

Likely not... Most of Samsung's apps are very tightly wound into the TouchWiz framework. I doubt we'll be seeing any of them ported to any devices...

Too bad. My girlfriend has a galaxy tab 2, and i really like the floating apps.

Im pretty amazed about non of you guys had not bring this matter up. I migrated from Galaxy Tab 7.7 and so far absolutely in love with this Tab S. But when it came across writing notes and organising them I have absolute difficulties finding one good app to do so other than Amazing Note HD by Brid
Do you guys have any other better app/apk out there that is available to substitute this? Not a big fan of evernote :crying:

But i think its outdated version from the Galaxy Tab 7.7. I tried installing from the last apk but resolution is too small and any other updated version does the same.
Please if you guys could get this thing to work it would be awesome. And would be a great big help to this forum community :fingers-crossed:

its tooo outdated... even though the apps was great... i have to stop using it after 7.7. even the app maker stop updating it... i had try to use appsetting but still havent found the proper resolution to make it bigger... it always look small... kins of miss it anyway... ^_^

OneNote if you want seamless cloud integration with your desktop. Text input lags a little using Android OneNote but perfectly acceptable for me. Thumb Keyboard works better than stock IMHO.

With the recent update to OneNote I have zero input lag
I wish the memo app present in the Galaxy S5 was available on the Tab S. Well, I can get the apk and install it but it won't sync with my Samsung account, which sucks.

I want to buy a gear fit wareable, but i know that it works only with the app s healt from samsung.
Now there is not a version avaiable to our tab in the samsung app store, becouse this app is jot yet full compatible with our tab.
So i have found in this forum, a version taked from the galaxy note 4, i have follow the tutorial and i have install it on my tab s .
The app starts and seems to work, but when i tray to configure it, and after that i have agree to the terms of conditions, the app force closed.
Any one of you as reach the goal of make this app running on galaxy tab s octa core?
If someone can use this app on this tablet, can give me the working version link? Thx

Same situation here. I have a Galaxy Tab 4.7.0.
I've installed Health Service and S Health, but S Health 'unfortunately stopped'. Solution would be great. Thanks!

Rumor sadly incorrect: Android apps won't run on the Z1.
I'd love to find a way to install Android apps on the Gear S. The Tizen app store is such a joke
Google won't let Samsung get away with installing Google Play Market apps, especially Google services apps on a non-sanctioned OS, especially the one Samsung is hoping to compete against Android OS. So, the best Samsung can do is create its own app market and hope devs are supporting it. I seriously doubt this will take off. Samsung can't even make its own Android app work correctly across its own ranges of Android phones. They know how to make fantastic phones but their software has always below average.

I too have been searching for how to do this. Did you ever succeed?
I found some android 5.0 links from a google search, but they look fake. wonder if CM11 or CM12 would work OR the method used for the gear 2. Sure would be nice. i almost got the ZGPAX S8 (nearly the same guts), but opted for the Gear S (for the scren) w/ hopes for the eventual android ROM.

I purchased an "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge" and would like to have some more "Edge-screen" applications installed. They is hard to find, since all those I have found only works for "Samsung Galaxy Note" -
Where can I find "Edge Screen" application that can be used to "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge"?

the section you just posted in is filled with threads on various apps for the edge screen but on Sammy Apps you will just find "Feeds"
