WELCOME TO CYANIDE L
ROM INFORMATION
ORIGINALLY based on CyanogenMod but not even close to being a CM base at this, this ROM is PACKED FULL of features from the wonderful custom ROM teams we have all come to know and love. This ROM is at a very stable and mature state at this point but I will continue to update frequently as things progress along even further into Lollipop and more features become available but GOOD LUCK trying to find features we don't support. I am OPEN to requests BUT PLEASE don't take it personal if your request isn't filled (doesn't happen often but I will only add things that I think somebody will find useful and worthwhile) as I am usually very busy and do this ALL myself, me, I LOL and my themer @TheGeekyNimrod of course but I have taken over theming duties as he has become very busy with life, school and his family but if it's theme related complain to him even tho I'm the one who made our latest theme engine apk LOL
IF you are using Xposed, do everyone a favor PLEASE and DO NOT post bug reports because we WILL laugh at you, in the forum, numerous times hahaha. Ok enought joking around, get to flashing already and let me know what you think, we both know you are sick or reading this at this point anyway. Hurry hurry!!!! Good things come faster to those who already have a backup LOL
CyanideL
Developer Edition
Gapps
If you use Cyanide Blackout this is a small theme to supplement it and fix some black text on black background issues. It also themes some other apps like below but some are removed as well. This is purely an Add-on theme made for Cyanide Blackout in the ROM Blackout Add-on Theme
Cyanide Theme
Theme supports almost all apps including Google Play Store, Gmail, Hangouts, YouTube, Facebook, FB Messenger and more as well as all of the standard apps included with the ROM and more will be added in the future and will improve as more color values are unlocked for theming through the engine
ROM INSTALLATION
IF COMING FROM ANY OTHER ROM
1) WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
2) WIPE SYSTEM
3) Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
4) Flash the ROM and Gapps.
5) Reboot and PROFIT!!!!
6) Enjoy
IF UPDATING FROM OLDER VERSION OF CYANIDE
1) Wipe Dalvik, Cache, and System
2) Flash ROM and Gapps
3) Reboot and PROFIT!!!!
Screenshots will be located in the 2nd post when I have some time to add them. Enjoy Lollipop guys, this ROM is a BEAST if I do say so myself BUT I'm clearly biased as it's mine so FLASH AND REPORT so you guys don't think I'm full of myself lol!!!!!!

GOOGLE PLUS COMMUNITY - This is where you will find the latest changelogs and other info and discussion about Cyanide L ROM. Device specific changes I will always list right here in the thread. But general changelogs will always be posted in our G+ community.
Known bugs: I think we have squashed all of the real bugs, you tell me device wise, I only have a Note 2 lol
Thank you and enjoy!!
If you like our work, then maybe you would like giving a small donation or buy us a beer. You know you want to lol :victory:
NEVER expected but ALWAYS appreciated greatly. I spend basically ALL of my free time on this but not for donations lol. Enough of that, always glad to get that out of the way. Well I think that's it for now. I NEED A MAINTAINER TO PROVIDE BUILDS WHEN RELEASES ARE READY, I already build for numerous devices myself but only have the one (Note 2 LTE) so if you have a computer and internet and enough time to sync source every week or two(5-10 minutes) and time to run a command before you go to bed so it can build overnight the day before releases or just when you can PLEASE PLEASE CONTACT ME, I CANNOT MAINTAIN all the devices myself so I need some help from you guys or you have one and are in here looking PLEASE MESSAGE ME about maintaining. Just need linux and internet, the rest pretty well takes care of itself. It REALLY IS that simple because you literally only have to run TWO, yes TWO commands every week or two to be the maintainer. I will give you threads perms so you can take over. That's it for now, ENJOY GUYS!!!! This has been being flashed all day over on our Google+, people were flashing and talking about the ROM before I had even posted download links LOL

You mean the Google play battery issue? Partially but it's really in Google, it won't sleep until it updates and for some reason won't update. I don't have the issue, use the built in wakelock blocker. And yes very fast and stable with about every feature possible

Which type of camera is in this app? Stock app, CM app or what ? Thanks

What kernel is in the ROM? Is it stock CM?
I'll give this ROM a try later.

Looking into possible mashup of att, T-Mobile and Canadian. Works on s3 which WAS unified like this had been, just needs small edit but I MUST check the device repos first before I just tell someone to flash away. If you can build however hit me up on hangouts and I'll get you rolling

Yea ok, I doubt any rom has more tweaks I was just covering myself because I haven't flashed any of the other feature packed roms for a long time.

Verizon vs985?
Are there plans to support the Verizon variant? The features in this rom are what im looking for.

I'm confused.
The boot animation is old. The nav ring animation is like kitkat. Aren't you using the latest cm source? I'm just confused.

Thanks for bringing BeanStalk to us. This was my favorite ROM on my Nexus and S3.
Can't download either. The app opens to web view, clicking the arrow as directed in an earlier post simply reloads the page.
EDIT: derp. Had to turn off mobile view in Chrome to be able to download from GDrive. Google, really?
Very eager to try this out! Love beanstalk on my RAZR.
Sent from my LG-VS985
Downloads fine here. Thanks for the ROM :good:
YES! I love beanstalk
Daily driver. No doubt. Un-freaking believably fast.
One minor bug: if you disable nav bar when the keyboard is displayed, the line you are typing on is pushed up off screen. Disabled for now.

Can anyone tell me how to enable the transparent status bar listed in OP? I tried Beanstalk Options/Status Bar/Color and set to #00000000, but it didn't make the bar transparent.
I personally don't like solid bars; makes the screen look smaller.

Is the sound louder on this AOSP or is there away to make it louder?

I noticed a significant increase in max volume when using Viper4Android on this ROM.
(Note: same Viper settings were used on both this ROM and previous AOSP ROMs just to confirm a difference in volume)
Weres the Rom download I clicked the link right above the gapps link were it says 'here' and when I clicked it, it showed the build I clicked it and it didn't do anything
It doesn't let me download anything,

well holy hell! nice to see you over in the bastard child of the note 2! downloading now!
Awesome!
Awesome! I missed being able to use STweaks! Thanks for this!
Thank you for this.
Thanks
Oh one thing @rogersb11 did not list is that netflix is working on this 5.1 build. This is a nice rom full of almost all the features that everyone wants. Give this guy an extra thanks for bringing up 5.1 as quickly as he has. Many of the larger teams (more than on dev) are still working on the basics for 5.1.

Is MMS working for everyone on this?... I'm having no luck with MMS on this ROM
Hell of a ROM btw... Really loving all of the customizations I can do and real smooth too, great job on this... I did a clean install and wiped all (data format, internal SD, etc.) and everything is looking great so far except MMS
My MMS is fine the only thing I can't get to work is GPS. Then again I use hangouts for MMS so not sure of that's helping me. I love how all the options I like are built in. No need for xposed for me on this ROM
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
GPS was showing disabled even though it thought the radio was on (pic below)
Edit: I flashed the lollipop GPS fix from the other ROMs and it took care of GPS. Good to go now, instant lock
This is awesome... I'm running this on my one plus one and now my note 2, doesn't get any better than this.

Can confirm MMS and GPS are completely broke.

Thanks. GPS flash fix works to fix GPS so I'm happy. This is the most feature rich LP rom out there and with Shift it just flies!

I'd like to give this ROM a shot. Do you have a link to the GPS fix? I've never, ever had a GPS problem on any ROM, Touchwiz, AOSP, or CM, but I'd like to have the file handy just in case.
Thanks!
Man this is as smooth as it is on my One Plus. Like "DreamFX" said, the GPS zip works and makes the phone near 100%. I can't believe that all the Cyanide features are on my note 2 now. This is absolutely donation worthy. Payday is on Friday.....
Thank you again for bringing this to us.

WELCOME TO CYANIDE L
ROM INFORMATION
This is a custom ROM that I build for myself and decided to share after I was told people may enjoy it, they turned out to be right lol. The ROM is packed full of features from the wonderful custom ROM teams we have all come to know and love including MANY features that are exclusive to CyanideL in Lollipop and including many "original" features I've created myself. Good luck finding more elsewhere lol. I do not own this device to device specific bugs may be present, I am using CM based device trees with changes needed for my ROM
CyanideL
Developer Edition Thanks to @Marabou57 for building this final version for me
Gapps
If you use Cyanide Blackout this is a small theme to supplement it and fix some black text on black background issues. It also themes some other apps but main purpose is so be used with Blackout option. This is purely an Add-on theme made for Cyanide Blackout in the ROM Blackout Add-on Theme

I think so it's base on the latest Android 5.1.1r13
It work verry well solid and fast
Give it a try
I did a clean install and found it to be a very fast and clean rom with tons of mods included.
I am however, having a problem with wifi. It doesn't automatically connects after a reboot. After a few ON/OFF cycles and it starts working again. Something for a feedback.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Should yes, I tested it months ago and it was working and I've had zero big reports about it so I would lean towards yes. Could vary by device but I didn't make many changes to the cm device tree to build this for cyanide so it should. Try and see, you get busy looking around settings and forget you even asked lol

Okay. So I have to try it again. - As I did with various CM ROMs. Until now I couldn't find one with working BT-tethering from smartphone (G900F) to Tab (T320).
Messing around with ROMs means some effort to me, because TWRP does not restore the backup of the data partition of my rooted stock firmware (which is the only one with working BT-tethering so far).
Btw: I don't know how so many people use a portable device lacking a SIM-slot without using BT-tethering.
Wifi not working for me. Cant use rom sadly seemed nice.

What is SOT in this rom
And is it fully stable or buggy
Hey! Thanks for bringing this ROM! You've done a pretty good job here! I used it for a couple of days alongside AIM ROM v.2.5 and I must say it's quite impressive. There are some sound notification artifacts and the LED notification indicator doesn't seem to work properly for me (it could be related to some faulty hardware in my Zenfone Max), however, I don't mind those little bugs at all as the whole ROM seem to work flawlessly. As a side note, I would remove the optional Nova Launcher as long as it doesn't break any necessary dependencies. I know it's popular and it can be removed using root, but Launcher3 or any other FOSS Launcher can do the job just great as default. Magisk and Stericson's Busybox works great here. Beware new users, don't try to flash any Gapps above NANO as it will immediately brick the phone.
Great job!
EDIT: After tinkering with lots of Magisk and Xposed modules, and even installing the Aroma Gapps package, removing the original launcher with the Pixel one, this is by far the most stable Oreo ROM for the Z010D to date. It's incredibly fast, efficient and ShadowReaper1's Kernel works great. There are no sound artifacts whatsoever. I'm staying with this one for now

Hey brother really great rom so far it runs really fast and smooth! Just one question, i love the always on option and I checked it in the havoc settings as well as ambient display and I dont see always on working? Is there something else I need to do to get it working? Thanks again for a great rom!
Nevermind got it working
Too many options - sticking on this one
I never thought I would say this but there are too many build options for this device. I have a few favorites, including Havoc, RR, CRDroid, and MSM Xtended but find myself trying others, only to find either nothing new or include issues addressed long back in ROMs I favor. I don't know why folks feel the need to build the same code, and maybe change colors or the boot logo but I wish more bright minds would focus on a few of the good options, already in play. Another pet peeve, while I am whining, are release note/comments that say "fixed stuff, and things I forgot". i know, I know, beggars can't be choosers, but where is the pride, man!
Great job with the Havoc option! Excellent (complete in my mind) options, and super stability. I think that RR has a few more tweaks but the additions are not interesting enough to ignore some of the minor issue I have found.
I wish that some bored tech nerds would take the time to build a table that lists all features/options on each posted ROM and checks off those that actually work or bring value to the overall experience. I would do this (I am a nerd) but don't have the time.
Sorry for the soapbox but loving this ROM!
Yeah I agree, I dont know why this rom is not more popular,,,it literally has more options, the best battery life, and the fastest one out of all of them and believe me I have tried them all. There is a option for fingerprint swipe for notifications just hope that gets implemented in a future update that would be so sweet!

Only thing that i didn't like is android p look i wish i can have oreo look like old havoc builds.
I was like that at first but, then I ran this for a day or so and really liked the new P changes. It will be coming so might as well adopt it now. I like the side volume indicators and the my Substratum themes run fine on them which I thought there would be problems with the new layout. If they find a way to add swipe for notification then I will be really glad I didnt hold on to my Pixel phone. That is the only feature that I really liked on it.

Nope
Oh okay cool,,,no worries just saw the option there and thought it was possible. Also, I think the lockscreen settings with regard to text weather sizing resets after a reboot. I will do more testing to make sure.

Does this rom pass safety net?

This ROM is very good, beautiful, light and fast.
I just had two problems (which prevent me from being in it now):
1 settings> screen does not open (settings force close)
2 could not put root (neither by magisk, nor addonsu, nor supersu) was in infinite looping.
And sorry for the English (google translator).
Okay, just finished installing it, everything seems to be working for the moment.
Feels fast and neat. I just hope the battery life is good too
Thx for your work dev, much appreciated.
