Hi, I'm still rather new to this and I was trying to root my HTC desire 600c . When I went to start up my phone is gets stuck on the screen with htc's brand name and below it in red text it says "this build is for development purposes only do not distridute outside of htc without htc's written permission. failure to comply may lead to legal action".
when it first did this i thought it would just take awhile to load, i waited for 30 minutes.
I've tried many things:
clearing all caches
redoing the rooting process in the above url
redownloading the files, double checking everything
factory reset. Please help me guys.

I have a problem and I hope someone can help me I use a HTC Desire Bravo and I rooted my phone 2 days ago. Everything was fine, I have tried 3 different ROMs and they worked ok. Each time I did a full wipe before I re installed a new ROM. Tonight I wanted to try Cood3D RunnyMedehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250815 and after the HTC logo appeared on the screen it got blocked and I couldn't do anything to change that.
I must mention that I used Revolutionary.Io because unrevoked didn't worked. After more than half an hour of waiting for something to happen to my phone I tried to open revolutionary again and I got the following message: "Revolutionary.exe has stopped working". I got the battery out of the phone but nothing changed. Can I do something to my phone or I managed to get it ruined?...

I am trying to root my htc desire c and i have gotten through all of the steps but after i try to use the recovery option, it just loads a screen an HTC screen that has some words in red ( can't remember what it says exactly) and then it wont leave that screen. I have tried using hasoon2000's all in one toolkit and i have also tried to use the superboot option and they have both given me the same results.... Can anyone help me solve this problem? i really want my phone rooted...

I was trying to convert my ATT HTC One (Android 4.3; Hboot 1.55) to International version using the thread: [HOW TO] Convert AT&T/Rogers/T-Mobile HTC One to EU International One. (I had converted my old HTC One which I lost successfully using this thread in past.)
But when I got my new HTC One, I immediately OTA updated it to 4.3 and thus my HBoot also updated to 1.55. (I am a noob and didnt know it updated OTA will update to Hboot to 1.55 which is not compatible with revone to gain S-off. But anyways...)
So yesterday, I gained S-off using rumrunner. Had to root and install custom recovery to do that. Everything was fine until I gained S-off.
As I was S-off now, I decided to go ahead and start converting my Att HTC One to international version. So I started at Step # 4a of above mentioned thread.(I started at 4a bz steps before that are used to gain s-off using revone).
After I completed step 4a, and as menrioned in the thread, HTC One got stuck at 3/4 completed green status bar. And after that when I restarted my phone nothing is showing up. Screen is black and my computer gives me message that device connected could not be recognized. I never got the grey htc screen.
I cannot reboot into adb or recovery. if i hold the power button(10+ secs) phone vibrates. If I turn press the power button again the red led will turn on but screen is still black.
Please tell me i am not screwed and there is a way to fix this.
I really appreciate any kind of help.

P.S: I have searched the forum if someone has had same problem but couldnt find any, if you know any thread that already has solution to this please direct me to it.

Im having the same issue right not so far couldn't find a fix yet first time doing this and blamm black screen of death

If your on a windows 8.1 PC what happen is the RUU downgraded your hboot and windows no longer can see the phone. Most likely your phone is not dead you just need a windows 7 PC to redo all the steps of running the RUU
I just recently rooted my HTC desire 610. One day I signed out of my snapchat and I can no longer sign back in. I've tried deleting it , resetting my phone clean junk files etc. I can sign into my account on other people devices but not on my phone. What is wrong someone please help me?
Hello, I unlocked my HTC and installed the viper system, I want to bring it all original twrp, I'm 2 weeks trying to do it but I can not, I'm 10 times formatted but in the end I find myself opening with Viper, with RUU The PC opens the program but at the end of the upload everything disappears and nothing happens, please help me ?? I'm losing patience, is there someone competent who can help me ??
