How do I stop WhatsApp from saving media to my phone? Its so annoying.
Plus I've noticed once I've delete certain media from the phone I'm unable to view it in chat within WhatsApp!??

Disable the Auto Download Media Feature, then you must type manually on every Picture or Video to be downloaded.
When you delete the downloaded Media in a Chat it can't be shown anymore... I think that's not hard to understand.

The funny thing is, is that I all ready have auto download media feature disabled, yet its still saving the media to my phone!??.
Once I delete that media, that media just shows up as a blur in the WhatsApp chat!? I just wanna be able to view it on whatsapp, without having to delete it from my phone & then becoming a blur!

You must understand one thing first. WhatsApp do not store any media you or your conversation partner sent on any server (or thats what they want us to believe). Thats means every picture, voice message or video have to be stored somewhere on your phone for you to actually have access to them.

Download the version 1.80, backup the conversations in Official whattsapp, unistall it, and install reborn.

This worked for me: download QuickPic from Play Store, hide the WhatsApp Images folder and then delete QuickPic.
... or just create an empty file named ".nomedia" for those folders you want to exclude from Gallery App. Note that all subfolders are not shown either.

1. I've uninstalled and re-installed Adobe reader
2. I've cleared the cache on HTC's PDF app, as well as a few running services that looked like they might be related to opening files
3. I've tried opening PDF files directly from PDF apps, and confirmed that they work.

Clear data on Downloads and your PDF apps.
Try to rotate your tablet to change your orientation so that it can show app choices.

Clearing the cache didn't do it.
And I never actually got to rotate the tablet, so I never got to test that fix.
For some reason though, the app choices suddenly reappeared. The only thing I did was start up Opera and test opening a downloaded PDF from there. Once I did that, opening a PDF once again presented me with app choices in my email apps, as well as all the others that were giving me issues. I honestly have no idea... but either way it now works.
I love this tablet, buuuuut Android can be soooo randomly buggy at times, it seriously reminds me of old Windows Mobile!
Uninstall your PDF app, reboot the tablet, then reinstall it; something's out of whack and a reinstall should resolve it.

I resolved it. The memory on my Flyer's MicroSD was full, and so temporary files couldn't be made. I cleaned out some space on my storage card (temp and email files were defaulting to the storage card), and I was able to open files again. Its kind of surprising that Android doesn't have a built-in error message when something like this happens.
This is a flashable zip to delete all unnecessary stock apps using custom recovery.
You must have TWRP/RWRP installed (Guide to achieve this is HERE).
This zip is usable for both Stock and Custom ROMs.

Please create single file with Aroma support so people can decide what they want to uninstall.

I'm having problem with multi touch, it's annoying when playing games.
And sometimes my phone took so long to charge. I tried using stock adapter, and ugreen with quick charge 3.0. But still doesn't make any difference. So i think it's software related issue.
Can you make a fix for these problem? Like custom kernel so it can charge faster?

I can work on with the help of similar fix used in Pixel phones. A magisk based solution but it will be fixed officially with next OTA containing June security patch so not worth the effort.
Wait for OTA it is android bug.
My phone is stuck on Zenfone Logo and I'm on 311. It's stuck there for about 3 min. and that's not normal, I think.

WebView is just an additional app for me .. I use Chrome Dev which can provide me WebView.
I use Google Inbox and user should have an ability to remove this app.
Calendar plugin is just an addon for people who do not use Google Calendar to keep track of shedules.
It's all personal opinion and most of the apps are available in PlayStore so you have the alternate to install the apps as user apps.

Using this mod with your twrp-flashable ROM (318). Excellent work, really great. Will you implement the aroma-options? Also, i tried using the Google wallpapers app, but i don't even see the 'refresh wallpaper daily option'. Any workaround for that?

The wallpaper issue is due to Live Wallpaper Picker being removed from v305 in the device.
You can use THIS MODULE to fix it.

Yes, not active I suppose. Maybe something to do with permissions. Even if you delete it, the folder remains although the contents get deleted

I deleted those folders too via twrp file manager.
Also FM, talkback & google tts.
And 2 more bloatware like Ibook and someother starting with "A".
All the above from either /system/app or system/priv-app.

I deteted it with app gallery by huawai from there you can ever uninstall every app i am trying to do something and by mistake i deleted screen recorder

like i said this is file system you can't deleted without root, i think you uninstall app update only and the original app need restoring again.
try this on your home screen swipe down then in the search box write screen recording, if there you will see the app and restore it..

No bro it can be deleted from huawai app store from app store i go to insall manager then i selected screen recorder and then i press delete button and it was deleted

yes i delete huawei video but only delete the update only and back to the factory version see second photo.. and when i searching for it again i found it in app gallery and need for update only (see in first photo )

so i delete stones theme and it's app system too, and the theme disappeared from phone and i search for it in app gallery and not found it like your situation and i did that:
in home screen i swipe down and i write stones and searched for it, i found it like in screen shot and i restore it again... just do like i said open your phone > on your phone screen Swipe down by your finger > you will see search page > in search box write screen recording and press ok for search if there just click restore
See that i cant see it anywhere
Or you can give me an apk of an screen recorder which is similar like huawai inbuilt screen recorder i installed too much screen recorders from playstore but no one is good like glip du recorder az recorder and many more i want a screen recorder like huawai recorder from which you can start and stop recording wothout using panel or opening any app start from power and volume up button and end from screen and recording time and mic option was showing while recording but it cant show while we watch our recorded videos if you know any screen rec like this give me i will be very thankful to you

EMUI 10 issue: "Download" & "Backup" apps are no longer in the app drawer
Finally got the EMUI 10 yesterday and so far I have found 3 issues which weren't there before.
The Download and Backup apps cannot be found in the apps drawer anymore,
and for this reason, they also cannot be pinned to the Home Screen either ---
Why so? Any fix out there?

I'm still on 9.1, but see if this works. The app linked can access 'activities' that can't usually be found or added to homescreen. Not all work, but you could experiment.

I think in EMUI 10, theere's no Download app but a folder called Download --- is that why perhaps the shortcut didn't work via Activity Launcher?
Is there anyway I could shortcut a folder to the Homescreen?

I'm not on 10 yet so can't really experiment. Should all else fail, what I'll be doing is using the file manager app ' Explorer ' and creating a homescreen shortcut of the downloads folder.

btw, I would like to have the m3u files played in a certain different ways: music m3u playlist should open by my default music app and the the live tv m3u playlist should open by VLC --- would that be possible? probably not!

No, I'm not involved with the development of that app, have just used explorer and root explorer ( when my devices have been rooted ) for years. I think other file explorer apps may have the same feature, but explorer is simple and efficient.
As for your other issue, im not 100% but it should be possible as you should get a prompt when you click to open the file which app to open it with. You'll have to experiment with this and maybe have to clear the default opening app a few times to get it right. But with Android, there's usually a solution for everything [emoji3]

Regarding the m3u stuff --- I set it up like this:
I let the music app to play the m3u playlists from inside the app, and IPTV by VLC as the default m3u file player.
I think it's quite efficient this way!
You are welcome to suggest me to any other useful app for any other useful things from your vast knowledge.

That's a really weird error message, did you installed something on your smartphone lately ?
When an app request a permission, it asks for it right away, it has been like that since Android 6 (the creation of the feature). So I think it might be a malware. When you click on restore, what does it do ?

You need to grant Instagram the permissions it requires or Instagram won't work. You can't deny its permissions and then expect the app to still work without those permissions being granted.

When i click report it does nothing, i literally cannot install app anymore, my internal storage is full, and i just use the phone for whatsapp, ig, youtube, the error come out of nowhere. But thank you

Ok that's definitely a trap, don't ever allow anything, review your app list very carefully and come back here with screenshots of apps that seems suspicious. Sometimes viruses have a transparent app icon, if you see a blank space in your app list (usually it's at the end of the list but check the whole thing) click on it and uninstall the app right away.
The malware can also come from an apk you installed (from a normal app like a WhatsApp mod or just a normal apk), so check the battery consumption of every app you installed through an APK file, and if there is a heavy usage one, it might be the one. Come back here with the screenshots of the app list and the suspected apps before disabling/uninstalling anything (to avoid erasing something important to you)

You can't install an app - here IG - two times or even more often on an Android device. You always have to completely uninstall ( means including its data ) it first and foremost and then to re-install the app in question.
