Which system apps should be whitelisted in Stamina Mode? - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying out the stamina mode. It requires the user to decide which system apps should be whitelisted. But it's a big list... anybody already know which ones to select? At least I cannot find anything via googling or searching XDA.

It doesn't require whitelisted apps, is an option. Do you want to get email notifications? Whitelist Gmail or inbox. What to get notifications from Facebook? Whitelist Facebook.
Its really up to you.

There's two tabs, one to whitelist apps, one to whitelist system apps. If system apps are not whitelisted, they are blocked data connection access, right? Same as other apps; whitelisted = approved, not whitelisted = blocked. So if no system apps are whitelisted, they are all blocked?

Google Cloud Messaging for push notification doesn't work

I have intalled both Greenify and the donate packet, i tried hibernate Facebook and Facebook Messenger. But there are no any notification pushed on my device. Can someone help me?
Sorry for my bad English
Is your device rooted? Did you also install xposed framework? Is the module activated in Xposed and the option checked in greenify?

Yes, of course. I rooted my phone, installed all apps required.
Greenifying Facebook will be a problem since the implementation of notifications by Facebook is different from the standard android way (as explained by the Dev. elsewhere).
But if you greenify Messenger, it will work with notifications unless Facebook changed something recently.
Search the main thread for other solutions.
Sorry for noob question
Grenify stuck at splash screen. On my galaxy nexus rom 4.4.4 why?

So if i greenifyed Facebook, i can't get notifications anymore? It only works with Messenger app?
If i ungrenify Facebook, will notifications works normally again?
If you ungreemify any app, it should work as it was before.

Hidden sync

I decided to turn on the experimental features in Greenify in my nexus 5 with 4.4.4 and xposed. It shows one of my apps (sol Calendar) is guilty of hidden sync.
My question is, now that I know, what can I do about it other than uninstall the app? I do have a firewall which prevents this app from reaching the Internet and I have xprivacy installed. Are these enough to stop a hidden sync?
Thanks.

Help please: why is the Facebook always working after hibernated?

1. Rooted Nexus 6p with Xposed framework. I hibernated both facebook and Google apps. But whenever I turn on the Greenify to check the status, I always see Facebook and Google apps are shown to be not hibernating automatically. The reason is shown to be working. But I didn't open anything. Any ideas on how to deal with this?
2. I also see many apps are under woken temporarily group (most of them are google apps) even though I hibernated all of them. Is it because I used the shallow hibernation?

1. When an app is shown as working, tap and highlight it, then open the three dot menu at the top and tap 'put app into hibernation'. You will get a dialogue box with a warning and also an option to ignore its state. Check that and it will hibernate.
2. That is the expected behaviour when you opt for shallow hibernation.

oneplus 3 - greenify google apps

Hi guys,
I have a rooted oneplus 3 with greenify working in root mode. For some reason greenify will not have the option to greenify any apps made by google such as google drive, google photos, google keep, google music, youtube, etc. They are not even system apps, some aren't even stock apps. Does anyone know why and if there's a solution to this? Thanks.
I think my previous samsung galaxy note 3 greenify was able to greenify "some" of the google apps.

You have to have Greenify paid version and Xposed and enable greenifying system apps in Settings. Plus Greenify has to be enabled in Device Administrators and Accessibility in phone Settings.
What happens when you choose such apps for hibernation? Do you get any message?

Therein lies the problem. These apps don't even show up in the list when I try to choose an app for hibernation. Google Drive, Google music, Google photos, YouTube, they don't appear anywhere for selection.

Probably obvious (sorry) but you have ticked 'show all's under the overflow
(3-dot) menu in 'apps analyzer'? Believe your previous posts indicated paid version with appropriate Xposed based features enabled. Both are needed to expose Google apps on most systems (ie: when installed as system apps).

Some apps get duplicate notifications when Greenify xposed features enabled.

Hello,
Some apps like twitter, reed.co, and even push notification tester get duplicate notifications even if they are not in the hibernation list.
Disabling greenify in the exposed modules list fixed that.
I have the same problem with every push notification, every notification is twice. Even with apps which are not greenified.
Is there any fix or workaround?
I have the same problem but only with Twitter. For other apps is fine.
I tested again and I only get double notifications when I activate "GCM Push for greenified Apps" in xposed settings of Greenify. If I turn that off I get the notifications as it should be...
Now I have to test if notifications are being shown without activating this although apps are in greenified state...
same here, I disabled "GCM Push for greenified Apps and double notifications are gone!!

Some notifications may be delayed with this option disabled. However, recent Greenify enhancements support per app hibernation modes so you can likely find a satisfactory balance. GCM push for hibernated apps was a nice option at one time but is now depreciated IMO as doze and Greenify have evolved.
1) I don't see any delayed notifications, the apps I want to have notifications for are excluded from hibernation of course
2) I'm using latest greenify 3.8.9 from apkmirror
3) I don't have doze I guess because I've got KitKat and LolliPop,
all in all, it was a nice feature to have, but it has a lot of issues/doesn't work,
besides duplicate notifications, somebody has to test and find himself (by trial and error) which apps are
supported to... "pass through" and which don't work
I don't have any delayed notification either.
All notifications timing are working just fine. Even greenifing facebook, whatsapp, or viber makes them get their notifications correctly and instantly (yet I don't recommend greenifying the most frequently used apps like facebook or messenger).
The only issue i have is that duplicate notifications when greenify is enabled.
Maybe because i'm still on Kitkat, I don't know.

That's because you probably have GCM push enabled in greenify Xposed settings.

Yes, that's why.
I disabled it and the issue is fixed. But unfortunately I had to enable it again as I'm greenifying some apps that receive push notifications.
