Any chance of getting support for the f460 (G3 Cat6) series? What files would you need (or that i could swap out) to make it happen?

@somboons : you're tool seems to be awesome, but I got one issue; it doesn't detect my phone; it stays on "waiting for device". But when I launch for example "adb devices" in a command prompt, it detects my phone. I got all drivers installed, adb, my phone is rooted, has usb debugging enable. Do you know issue's source?

It's not copy/paste because It's other and more different possibilities and not the same build into this toolkit...
I give you credit in first post to make you happy but don't say its copy/paste, because it's not true... And please don't quote the first post, its not good for visibility...

I got it figured out I didn't know I had to manually put it in fast boot mode. Other toolkits I have used do that automatically. You might want to put that in the op.

How this happened? It describes the process?
why, how? etc.
I have used recovery.img into the upgrade file.
Flashed via adb and now the phone is hold on boot logo screen.
If I power on pressing vol - button I see screen to choose to boot in recovery or reboot system or power off.
All options doesn't work!
Do you have any ideas?
wow!!! Solved!
- I waited until the battery of my nubia z9 was completely to 0% .
- pressed vol down and connected to usb cable + charger (not pc!)
- wait 10 minutes for charge a little battery
- connect phone to pc and extracted recovery.img of the file zip upgrade
- via adb I have run this command: fastboot -i 0x19d2 flash recovery recovery.img
- selected reboot to recovery
- ALL OK! fortunately!!!

any ideas to install gapps without custom recovery?
ok! in this post I reply to me!!
I have manually installed pack of gapps called: gapps-lp-20141109-signed on system\priv-app folder with rwxr-xr-x permissions.
That's all!
All works but actually only contacts aren't not sync and I dont's see in sync page of my account.
How did you actually do it?? It's not clear to me, are you rooted? Otherwise how could you access "system\priv-app" folder?
Thanks...

Getting specific, is it the boot.img that you find in the big .zip file that you have to boot up?
Something like:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot -i 0x19d2 boot boot.img
...and then flash superSU (and possibly gapps)?
Hi All.
Got my device from Hong kong today, Live in Denmark so think i am the first user in Denmark of this device.
Man the screen are great
We are missing an forum for this device here on XDA, hope they create one for us soon, so we can setup guides on how to do this and that.
Ok could we create an process guide in this thread with links for updating, rooting and so on.
I really miss Google stuff on my device, Google Play, sync from google contacts, photos, calender and so on.
First i think i need to Root right?
When its done i need to install Google framework right?
Could soneone that has allready provide us with links, guides or mayby Youtube video on how to do it correct, i would kill myself if i Break the device on the first day.
Thanks peeps

[ROOT] Use SuperSU 2.62 or higher from here systemless for 6.0.1 and above.
Known bugs/limitations: - For partition Flashing, it is recommended(mandatory?) to do a reboot-bootloader if you want to flash multiple partitions one after the other. (according to the Google flashing scripts) (Implemented in 1.2.1)
- For return to stock, the tool will be stuck after your phone successfully boots, you need to reboot to fastboot again in order to flash the Radio and finish the full return to stock. (Fixed in 1.2.0)
Changelog:
Check the changelog for each release here.

Tutorials/FAQ:
Q: How do I get in bootloader/fastboot mode?
Turn off the phone and turn it on by using Volume down + Power key.
Q: How do I check for updates in your tool?
Follow the instructions in the screen below.
Q: Where can I find the device driver to install it for windows?
Click here, download the driver and run the setup.
Q: How do I root my stock phone?
- Unlock bootloader.
- Flash recovery.
- Use SuperSU 2.62 systemless or higher from here.
(Usually the latest version upon tool release is included in the Sideload folder of the tool, you can either sideload it or copy it to recovery and flash it manually)
Q: I get an error "Cannot open file" on MAC, what should I do?
Open the terminal, go to your application path and paste this command:
Code:
chmod +x LxMultiTool.app/contents/macos/*
Q: What do I need to do in order to be in Fastboot or in ADB mode.
Fastboot mode will be detected only while being in bootloader.
ADB mode will be detected from Recovery (custom) and actual ROM with USB debugging active.
Refresh button needs to be used in order to check for what mode you are in.
Q: Are there any other software that I need to install in order to run this tool?
On Windows and MAC everything is bundled, so nothing needs to be installed, just run.
On Linux you need to install from your package manager libQt5Core, libQt5Widgets, libQt5Gui, libQt5Network.
If it's not enough, use ldd LxMultiTool in terminal to find out what you're missing from your environment.
Q: I have an yellow/orange/red text screen during boot, what's that?
When you unlock you usually get the Orange screen and it's normal, but if you really want to know what's this about, give a reading to this.
Q: Hey, my device is not detected, why?
On windows, you need to manually install the USB drivers, they are not included and probably they won't be included in this tool.
Also, make sure you click the connection Refresh button after connecting the device to your PC.
Q: What do i need to do in order to install a custom ROM?
1. Unlock Bootloader.
2. Flash a custom recovery of your choice.
3. Flash an insecure kernel (boot).
4. Flash custom ROM with no problems via recovery.
All those things are found and can be done via this tool.
Q: Hi, i just downloaded this tool, how do i use it?
First, extract the folder somewhere.
After that, run LxMultiTool.exe on windows by double clicking it, LxMultiTool on linux and the same on mac.
Q: Do I need android-sdk installed or something else?
No! This tool uses it's own supplied binaries for adb and fastboot, if you have android-sdk installed it will be ignored anyways.
This tool is fully portable and stand-alone.
Q: I get an error while trying to unlock the bootloader -> FAILED(remote: oem unlock is not allowed), what now?
Starting with Android 5.0, you need to enable Bootloader Unlocking from the developer settings, in order to do that, follow these steps:
- Enable Developer options
- Enable USB Debugging
- Look for the ‘OEM Unlock’ Option and toggle it.
Q: How do I use the return to stock feature?
First download the latest package from here, then extract the contents (there is an archive in the archive) untill you get the a folder like angler-mda89d
that contains the images, that folder needs to be copied in the /Data/StockPackages folder in order to be visible.
Easier steps -> Get your device in bootloader -> Start the tool -> Hit refresh -> go to Stock -> hit open folder -> copy the extracted folder with the name angler-xxxxxx in there, hit F5 or Right-click + Refresh -> you should see the folder in there like in the following screenshot. Thanks @ursa08 for the screenie.
Q: How do I enable Developer options?
- Launch the Settings
- Scroll Down and Tap on About Phone(or About Device)
- Locate the Build Number Section
- Tap on the Build Number Option 7 Times
- Go Back to the Main Settings Page
- Scroll Down and Tap on Developer Options
Q: Hi, i just bought a phone what should i do now?
Well, you firstly need to unlock your bootloader...
Q: What is logcat?
Well, you can pretty much use google for that answer, but to put it short, is that thingy that tells you what is happening behind the scenes of your phone.
It is usually used for debugging and entertaiment(?).
When you report an error/bug to somebody, it will be a blessing to provide a logcat (logfile)!
Q: What is a Custom Recovery and why do i need one?
A custom recovery is that thingy that let's you flash .zip files, use your logic and you wil get it why you need one.
Q:There are others guides/tutorials out there, should i check them instead of this?
If you manage to get things done using this one, no, otherwise yes, note that some could be outdated...
Q:What is sideload and how do I use it?
Sideload is a function from adb that let's you flash a zip file while in recovery directly from your PC.
Please note that you need to be in sideload mode on your recovery before doing this.
To enter sideload mode, in TWRP go to Advanced -> ADB Sideload -> Swipe to sideload

This tool has support only for 4 nexus devices, some features might work, some not, it's all down if the commands that are used by the tool are supported by the other device.
For example all fastboot flashing commands use the command:
Code:
fastboot flash <partition> <file_to_flash>
The same goes for the rest of the commads, I will try to investigate more and see if it's worth it to create a Sam Note 3 package for the tool.
The adb features should work though.
That would be awesome as i run only linux. And cant seem to get odin or heindall to work. Tried multiple times. So if there is something you could cook up. Amazing sauce. Its a att note 3. Either way. This will work great for my n6

New update with some fixes that should have been implemented a long time ago...
- Fixed Sideload flashing
- Enabled Recovery rebooting
- Fixed open folder for Stock menu
Wow - Great work on this. Love the fact that it supports mac/nix as well.
Nice! Keep up the good work.
Thank you!

Lenovo K6 Power k33a42 is a new device released by lenovo on Dec 16, as many of you have bought this phone i would like to share how this phone can be rooted and how we can install twrp on this phone
UNLOCKING BOOT-LOADER :
Unlocking your Android phones bootloader is the first step to rooting and flashing custom ROMs
WARNING: UNLOCKING YOUR BOOTLOADER VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY.PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
NOTE: Unlocking the bootloader will Wipe/ factory reset your device, and will delete all personal data from your device such as apps, photos, messages, and settings.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download the View attachment K33a42_bootloader_unlock.zip and View attachment drivers.zip zip archive attached here
2) On your device, turn on USB debugging and allow OEMunlocking
if there is no developer options in settings - go to the " Settings -> Device Info " and click on the item " Build number " until the display shows that " you became a developer
go back to the device's main Settings menu and go to Developer options tick "OEM unlocking " and " USB debugging'
when you connect for the first time using debugging via USB you will need to confirm the RSA fingerprint key to trust the PC
3) Extract the Unlock bootloader zip to any directory
4) Connect the device (K33a42) to a PC via USB-cable.
5. Go to the extracted directory and execute Unlock_Bootloader.bat and expect to complete the unlock process.
after the process is completed the boot loader will be unlocked.
INSTALLING TWRP :
1) Extract the folder View attachment TWRP.zip archive to any drive.
2)On your phone, turn on USB debugging (drivers for ADB must be installed).
Connect your phone to a PC via usb-cable
3) You have 2 options either you can try the TWRP (only run one time) or else you can replace the stock recovery with twrp
Use accordingly
run Flash-TWRP.bat (replace stock recovery) or
run Run-TWRP.bat (for one time only).
4) Wait for the phone to boot into TWRP.
You can now disconnect the usb-cord.
Installation is finished.
and also at the starting of the twrp recovery the language will be in Russian because the creator in SevenMaxs from lenovo-forums.ru (I'am looking forward to modify default lang to english)
here is the video which shows how to do so
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOhR92EKD7A
* In the stock firmware Secure Boot is enabled by default , so any changes made to the system partiton lead to a bootloop. Therefore, when you first start TWRP set the system mode to Read Only !
So in order to proceed we need to disable the secure booting in the kernel
Now to disable Secure Boot verification in the boot.img
1. Extract boot.img using twrp backup of boot partition
(you can use android image kitchen for extracting)
2. Make changes in the ramdisk \ default.prop file
change the following line:
ro.secure = 1
to
ro.secure = 0
3. repacked boot.img and flash into the device using twrp.
I know this part may be tough for some uses hence voila i have the secure boot disabled boot image , flash this to boot partition using twrp
ROOTING
Flashing SuperSU zip via TWRP Recovery
Download and transfer the View attachment SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815.zip zip file attached here to your device’s storage.
Boot your device into TWRP recovery.
Tap on Install and select the SuperSU zip file that you transferred to your device in Step 1.
After selecting the .zip file, do Swipe to Confirm Flash on the bottom of screen to begin the flashing process.
Once SuperSU is flashed, you’ll get Reboot System option, select it.
Congratulations! Your device should be rooted now. Look for the SuperSU app in app drawer.
INSTALLING XPOSED
1)Install the xposed installer from playstore
2)Open the installer, and tap the ‘Install/Update’ button. Don’t worry if the app seems stuck here; just give it time and it will eventually show you a Superuser request, which you should make sure to grant and click reboot
Almost all the modules should work on stock rom as it is close to Aosp
modules which i can confirm to work are
: Android N-ify
; Gravitybox
: Bootmanager
:fingers-crossed:
All the credit goes to SevenMaxs
for creating the recovery
and for his guides for proper installation

please thank him :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

I'll add adb/fastboot instruction for those who don't use Windows:
Of course you have to enable developer options, adb debug, oem unlocking
UNLOCK:
> adb reboot bootloader
> fastboot oem device-info
> fastboot oem unlock-go
(and... yes you can lock it back with fastboot oem lock)
TWRP:
> fastboot flash recovery /path/to/your/twrp.img
> fastboot oem reboot-recovery
BOOT.IMG:
> fastboot flash boot /path/to/your/ro.secure=0/boot.img
> fastboot reboot
P.S. (to manipulate your boot.img and change the default.prop file under linux you can use abootimg)

I only work on linux. Windows is evil.
I have a big question: why in the default.prop of the russian TWRP.img there is ro.secure=1 ?????
It should be set to 0.
I guess that's why I bricked exactly after flashing Supersu from TWRP...

as far as i know.. having ro.secure enabled on recovery wont have any effect as we aren't changing anything withrespect to recovery.. but when we change something in system partition with a secure boot enabled kernel we get boot loops

Certainly I'm wrong, but I keep on not understanding. When you are in recovery mode you are loading the kernel inside the recovery and, of course, the default.prop inside the recovery.
That means that you flashed, or are going to flash, a boot.img with ro.secure=0 but running a recovery with ro.secure=1
From recovery you can manipulate system... but with a r0.secure=1 . I don't see a sense in this. But I'm a donkey.
I checked other official releases of twrp, and they all have ro.secure=0 in the default.prop

okay, firstly im also ain't any expert, but i get your point
i dont know why secure boot was enabled in recovery
but when i tried the procedure as explained in the thread i didnt get bootloop ( keeping secure boot in recovery) hence i came to the conclusion that it may not be valid.,, and i may be completely wrong here, if some one could clarify if would be better

At this moment i have not found a lock command that works, when i find it i will add an option to lock bootloader in the tool
I found your utility and now I want to use it to unlock my amazfit pace.
But when going to fastboot mode the watch gets into fastboot mode and windows tries to install a fastboot device (this does not get installed) and then your utility hangs.
I do have fastboot and adb installed , but adb = v1.0.32 and I do not how to find the version of fastboot.
When using fastboot on the commandline I can use it to reboot my phone when it is in fastboot mode. When I want to reboot the watch in fastboot mode the command also hangs.
So I guess this has something to do with versions of adb and/or fastboot.
Do I need a lower version because the watch runs on android 5.1?
If yes, what version do I need and how to uninstall the currents version of these tools.
Can anybody help me out?
