All cyanogenmod goodies
Performance profiles explained:
Power save: Max CPU 1.2Ghz, slower CPU governor. If battery level <15% keylights are turned off and screen maximum brightness is limited. This is normally good enough for normal use.
Balanced: Max CPU 1.9Ghz, balanced CPU & GPU governors. If more performance needed, use this mode (e.g. heavy web sites).
Performance: Max CPU 2.1GHz, balanced CPU governor, performance GPU governor. This is good mode for heavy gaming.
Battery saving tips:
1) Use 'Power save' profile, when ever possible.
2) Set screen brightness as low as suitable for you.
3) Set screen off max CPU in 'ROM Extra Settings' to as low as suitable for you. e.g. I have set this to 883Mhz
4) When not in use (e.g. nights), turn off data (mobile, wifi) and battery consuption will be VERY low.
5) Use Privacy Guard to disable wakeup, keep awake and location permission from apps/services you don't need. This is really good battery saver! BUT if you disable from certain services that OS needs, some apps may malfuntion and consume even more battery.
How to install:
NOTE: If you dont have custom recovery installed yet, please see instructions for that elsewhere. (see TS-Recovery)
1) boot into TWRP (or similar) recovery (TS TWRP recommended)
2) backup and restore -> backup
When coming from other ROM: (or want to clean install)
3.1) mounts and storage -> format /system
3.2) wipe cache, dalvik-cache, data and factory reset
When updating existing superluminal CM11 ROM:
3.1) wipe cache, dalvik-cache
4) install cm-11-xxxxxxx-UNOFFICIAL-TS-kiton.zip (select from storage or via adb sideload)
5) install gapps (if you need/like)
5.1) Gapps can be downloaded from various sources. For example from here or here
6) reboot
7) profit
NOTE: All changes in system partition are lost when you update ROM. (e.g. lenovo camera addon)
Since build cm-11-20150308-UNOFFICIAL-kiton you will also receive OTA updates through CM Updater.
FAQ:
Q: How to enable Smart cover, Dual SIM or Double tap to wake support?
A: Open 'ROM Extra Settings' from application drawer and enable smart cover service.
Q: Where are performance modes?
A: Pull down quick settings from status bar and click '+' to add performance icon
Q: I can't find developer options and performance settings, why?
A: Settings -> About phone -> Click 'Build number' several times
Q: I don't have reboot options in power menu, why?
A: Settings -> Developer options -> Advanced reboot
Q: Is it possible to use Lenovo stock camera app?
A: Yes, you can download camera addon zip from download section. File must be installed from recovery mode.
Q: Why power button does not wake device?
A: Yes it does! You're just covering proximity sensor. There's "prevent accidential wakeup" option enabled by default.
Reporting Bugs:
1) Grab a logcat right after/during the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
in case of modem bugs, also "logcat -b radio" is needed. If possible log must be captured all way from boot.
2) If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
3) If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more changes there are we can reproduce bug and possible fix it. Please also do not report known issues. The following is a useful format to follow:
What is your phone model (K910, K910L, K910e, etc..)
- ROM Version
Are you using:
- a task killer.
- ART Runtime.
- Dual SIM.
- other modifications; Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed.
We have spent ernomous amount of time for porting this ROM.
All work is done in our spare time. We give this for you as free of charge.
If you like our work, please consider donating some money for a new porting equipments.
Or just few bucks for team members to have a nice cold beer after long day of coding
ENJOY!
-ekkilm, Morphic, Team Superluminal
P.S. We are working our own websites... Incoming, but slowly.

M2P won't be as preety. Just saying.
It optimizes the system by cutting down on the fancy stuff and going for the more responsive and fast route of doing things. They'll be at least 400+mb of ram in the M2P version unlike M2 which usually has less

withch is better and more stable ?
if m2p is better why make m2 ?
Is "lblbuild6.zip" the M2 zip for LBL??
If this rom is more smooth than FlexOS... I will reflash my phone for the 5x today !
It's just beautiful the number of ROM which goes out this month !
(MIUI, FlexOS, Vanir, RR M2P, ...) and finally the team Revolution.
Wow. You are Incredible @Furrydaus and the others. :good:
M2 and M2P are different
M2P is more ugly with no gradients but it has more performance. As for battery, I didn't fully tested it.
M2 is more aesthetically pleasing but is slower at times.

All the other ROMs don't have 2 editions. So which of these two scenarios is right?
1. M2 graphics = AICP/CM/PAC/Vanir/FlexOS graphics and M2P graphics are worse
2. M2P graphics = AICP/CM/PAC/Vanir/FlexOS graphics and M2 graphics are even nicer
i dont understand , which one is the best?m2 or m2p?

Resurrection Remix ROM for Samsung Galaxy Alpha
I ported RR successfully to my device, so I want to share the self-compiled build with the Custom ROM Community! :fingers-crossed:
The ROM has been based on many projects like AOKP, CM, PA,OMNI and original Remix ROM. In this way, an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features are brought directly to your device. Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM. I hope that you enjoy the new features which won't be available in original CyanogenMod builds.
This ROM reached the ALPHA status - this means that the most basic things are working. But there are still some problems left which have to be solved by me or by one of the other devs. At the bottom of this post, you can find all features of RR Custom ROM.
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any damages on your device.

Oh man... That's a bummer..
Not sure what to do, kinda want back the deep dark screens of CM but can't give up fingerprint sensor, got used to it too much.

Yeah, thats weird because im facing that problem. Tried to clean install but the issues still persist. Same as stock rom. I'll just pass this rom until camera fixed. Cant bear the broken recent button but not the camera. Btw, nice work so far. Thanks for your work.

Colors are little bit different then in stock rom, little less saturated, call quality is the same as in CM12.1, it's also bad, camera app crashes when you switch from rear to front camera, and quality of photos is awful, i'm not sure about Whatsapp, didn't try it...It's a good rom overall, very fast and stable, but it has those few bugs.
Camera is impossible for use! 0/10 quality call 5/10.
that is AOSP or Cyan my m8,how will progres go on
we will get result one by one,but is not easy job m8
thanks to modpunk & bonuzz we have CM in Alpha forum
plz fix call quality and color display............and i ges we can use an other camera app to fix that too tanx for your work gg
this looks amazing, is any of this dev support coming to G850a ? =(

Issues and reports
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.
What doesn't work?
You tell me.

Features
Right now you are gonna find a mixed StatiX/AOSP experience as this is a brand new project:
Spark Settings Panel introduced.
Always-On Display enabled (on devices that support it).
Smart Pixels enabled (on devices that support it).
Advanced reboot
Dark mode and accent theming
Statusbar battery styles
Known issues
Well, these issues are not that annoying after all.
A few bugs related to Wireless Hotspot: 5GHz not working for all countries;
VoLTE doesn't work: for instance if you are a Verizon user the phone will fall back to 2G when a call is incoming.
FI USERS: Download the Fi official where WFC works (only on Fi, other carriers will have the issue above.)
A few notes before you proceed
Before going straight to the download section there’s something we would like to tell you: we have changed the default encryption method for the phone, migrating to File-Based Encryption (you can get more information on the official Google documentation page). In order to get this encryption mode working, you will need to use our custom recovery (compiled from the latest source) which is compatible with this encryption and, just for the first time, you will have to wipe your internal data - so, backup your data before proceeding.
Installation instructions
Note: If your phone only has 4 cores, download the BLOD patch (you can find it in the download section), flash our recovery.img from your working TWRP and then install the BLOD patch.
Grab our recovery from the downloads section and install it.
- THROUGH TWRP:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img’ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash- OR THROUGH FASTBOOT:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Install the official ROM, GApps and then wipe your internal data partition.
- THROUGH TWRP
Wipe > Format data- OR THROUGH FASTBOOT
Code:
fastboot -w
Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.

Q&A
I will use this second post for giving some Q&A about the current build.
Q: After I make a call the phone application disappears and I can't close the call nor I can input numbers, what can I do?
A: In order to properly use the phone calls you will have to set the default Phone application (this will be fixed in the next releases), to do so follow these steps:
Open Settings
Move to Apps & notifications
Scroll down and open Default apps
Tap on Phone app and then on Phone (even though it's already checked)
Go back and you will see Phone set as default application
Q: I can't connect to hidden WiFi AP, what can I do?
A: In order to connect to hidden AP you need to set the hidden flag otherwise the phone won't be able to connect to it. You can find this option under the Advanced section while you add a new network.
Q: After installing the rom I needed to put in a password. Now suddenly last week not any more.
A: FBE works differently from FDE.
When you set a fingerprint, for instance, you will be required to add either a PIN or a password — when you do, you will have to enter such password to decrypt your storage as well.
Logically speaking, if you remove the fingerprint (or password / PIN) you won't be asked to add such code in TWRP anymore.
Q: I want to protect my nudes, so I need to encrypt my phone. What do I do?
A: Flash the latest FBE build and recovery. Do not flash Magisk before encrypting your phone otherwise you'll end in a bootloop.
Q: Google Feed is empty/blank?
A: Open Google app and then force close it. Go back to Google Feed and it should be fine.
Q: Some Google app shows login error?
A: Flash latest Open GApps.
Q: Can I use an Oreo (8.1) kernel with this ROM?
A: Yes. Any Oreo kernel *should* work - but some users reported that random reboot may occur.
Q: I'm running a stable build. Can I dirty flash a testing build?
A: No. You can only dirty flash a stable build over a stable build and a testing build over a testing build. So if you want to flash a testing build over a stable build, you'll have to clean flash.
Q: I tried to install 8.1 but my phone goes into bootloop, what can I do?
A: The ROM flashes the vendor partition, this means that you will have to reflash the stock vendor image release by Google. You can find the image on this website or inside the whole factory image found on Google developers page.
Q: Phone app disappears after answering a call/can't close the call?
A: Settings > Apps & notifications > Default apps and tap on phone app and then on Phone (even though it's already checked).
Q: Sparks menu is empty?
A: Yes. It's still in development.
Q: How to install Magisk?
A: Flash Magisk zip file via recovery. After that install Magisk Manager via apk file to make it show up in the app drawer.
Thanks to @simarguram for taking care of this section.

Yes, I was in hurry since I derped the first creation of the thread.
The initial release doesn't have any changes because there's not another publicly available release to compare with, but I can tell we went through a lot of compilations and debug routines - you can check our source code here.
Thanks for building,I will try it
Great job, thanks to the developer!
installed. will let you know further. booted fine.
Great News, As long as calls working its fine by me, I'll flash it today

Thank you very much for your feedback.
I find the chance to give a feedback as well, the new build is at 70% with about 20K targets remaining.
As I said before the new version will have a fix for the Camera, we will stop using GApps as prebuilt (you will have to flash them separately) and the ROM should become user release with official signature.
thx, waiting for the new build !

Will this ROM stay pure AOSP or add more features?

its working smooth. as you said camera is not working on this build. In next build it will. apart from that everything is working. wifi, data, calling, etc. all the things that i was able to check in short span work well.

We are going to add more features once we pass the second phase of user release, we still need to enforce SELinux (that's gonna arrive soon as well).
Once we are sure that everything is working properly you will start seeing new features, actually me and the lead developer are eager to add features and we will soon.

I am so happy that you are feeling the smoothness as well, as you can see here I have camera working on my end due to the recent commits we made that are not available in the temporary build I posted.
Keep testing it, also follow the second post in order to get a fully functional Phone application (just a few steps, nothing much).
Great work!
Flashed the [temporary] build. Everything that has been listed as working, work really well. Also, I had zero issues with CameraNX in the few minutes that I tested it for. Flashlight wasn't working on first boot, but it started to, a couple of reboots later. Everything feels so much more smoother than Oreo.
Thanks for still supporting angler

Yes, I forgot to report that on the temporary build third party application such as OpenCamera just work fine because they do not rely on the phone's media_profiles.
Check this commit if you want further details on it.
Also, thanks for your feedback
