Please close [ROM][LMY47V][5.1.1][hammerhead][04.30.2015]CM 12.1 Unofficial Nightlies - Nexus 5 Android Development

New nightly unofficial builds of CM 12.1 for Nexus 5 (hammerhead). These are built straight from Cyanogenmod's repository at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android/tree/cm-12.1. There are no modifications, or cherry picks from other related repositories. This is just a straight up, pure Cyanogenmod build for Nexus 5 hammerhead, NOT CAF, that I am privately building for my own use, and sharing with other users until the official builds start rolling out. I am not a developer. I am just a user who likes to flash a nightly update every day, if possible. For tutorials on how to install the rom or questions, I suggest using the OP in this excellent thread: [ROM] [LMY47I] [5.1] CM12.1 Unofficial w/ Xtra Cherries-Hammerhead Nexus 5 by mo976.
As far as answering questions, I may jump in from time to time, but I'll leave it mostly to those visiting the thread. Again, I merely made a place to share the cm rom I am just compiling from source.

This is not bad....

thank you for the new build and hope it is not so slow like before

First of all, thanks! Second: what about MultiROM?

GPS question
First off, thank you to the OP. The consistent nightly builds are much appreciated!
Second, has anyone had issues with their GPS on cm12.1? Mine will lock on and be fine for a few minutes, then it loses GPS signal for a few minutes, then locks, then loses, repeat.
Wondering if it is just me or not...

have not noticed any issues with my GPS; don't know anything about multi-rom
hit the thanks button if you can rather than posting a thanks (it is appreciated, though )

Can anyone open the calculator? On 0416 and it just force closes. Going to try upgrading in a bit. Sorry about not asking in the dedicated thread. Didn't notice until after posting.

Hazy ROM for D855

Hi, everybody!
There is a new kid on the block! It's called Hazy, and it's not a CM derivative, but coming directly from AOSP. It's on a very early state so it's very bare-bone, otherwise it's stable and bug free enough in order to be your daily driver. At this moment it's only available for the international version (D855)
A really promising ROM. My favorite so far. It works perfectly as secondary ROM on @Skin1980 multiboot, with no third party kernel needed.
It worths a trying.
Here you have some screenshots:
You can find it here:
www.hazyrom.net
Current version:
ROM: Hazy 4.1, Alpha 1 (Release data 04/24/2015)
Gapps: Slim_Gapps_Beta_5.1.x.build.0.x-20150430
Download links:
ROM: http://www.hazyrom.net/download/rom/
Gapps: http://www.hazyrom.net/download/gapps/
At this moment, not rooted by default, so you have to flash SuperSU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053 (thanks to @Chainfire)
If you have problems you can report it in the bug tracker: https://www.hazyrom.net/tracker/
Please consider a donation if you like Hazy: http://goo.gl/oM1nn6
Enjoy
P.S: I'm not a developer and I'm not pretending to be one. I'm only and Android fan that want to share this amazing ROM with you. All de credits to the Hazy Team: Matteo Lobello, Luca Pensabene, Francesco Colella, Adriano Loiacono, Matteo Munda, Davide Dellai, Salvatore Festa and Giovanni Chelli.
I have an LG G3 .there is no kernel and gapps for my phone on hazy downloads?any alternatives?

Hi chejofan,
Thank you for bringing us a new ROM. Just a minor mistake from your www.hazyrom.net. Inside the download page of Gapps, the file size of mini version is "659MB" :silly:
And I suggest you make some remark on the thread title to show the Build date/version number.
And perhaps with more explanation of the ROM & Kernel and the difference of the 3 versions Gapps as well.
I am having slow internet connection in China. Still downloading your build, will share my feel later!

do you know "how far behind" CM it is?
like, is it comparable to todays release or a release a month ago?

As far as I know is based directly on AOSP, so is not a CM (CAF) derivative. However, I think that the current kernel is based on CM. Otherwise the hazy team is developing his own kernel, but at this moment it's only available for the Nexus 5 (Hammerhead). Personally speaking, I see this ROM closer to PA.
Another thing that I can tell you is that you'll never find theme engines is this ROM, so it's focus on simplicity.

It's AOSP and it's in APLHA stage...and this is the first LP based rom that i've booted on my G3. CM Inc. is not what I want. I want AOSP and if I consider that it's ALPHA.....not many features and that.......rom is smooth and nice on my side....and all I can see in future is improvements and more and more features....and you can't really compare CM and HAZY...so....i'm patiently waiting for updates...this one really has a potential to be a good if not best LP rom out there..
thanks for pointing this rom out @chejofan ...maybe you could invite some real hazy team members over to xda if they're not already here

lol, i ask because when cm first came out, there were wifi/quite a few problems..
i'm basically wondering if theres someone who's specifically worked on the d855 device tree.
edit 1;
nevermind, it still doesnt explain my question how i think about it, i'll install this as a secondary rom & have a look.
edit 2;
looking at source, d855 device trees are forked from CM, so that answers my question

Why don't you try flashing the @777jon kernel. My favorite one. There are versions for 16 and 32 GB variants.
Take into account that since this is an Alpha 1 release bugs will be around.

as I just wanna report as pure as Hazy rom is for you. I understand it is a alpha version, so our user report is very important to you . Of coz I have 777 kernel in my storage. anyway, great rom even it is Alpha. really looking for you beta and stable built.
For peeps that are wondering if hazy works whit multirom, the answer is YES. I'm using 777 kernel and love the simplicity of this pure AOSP ROM, actually whitout all the bells and whistle's of other CM baked ROMS is a advantage in my book, so keep it up guys, I digg you
EDIT 07.02:
I'm having weird random bug where I can't pull down notification status bar, it just doesn't let me swipe it down, weird? Anyone else having same bug? Any solution will be much appreciated! I want to continue using the ROM but that's a nasty bug!

[ROM][5.1.1][BETA] Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1

CyanogenMod 12.1 for OnePlus 2
This is CyanogenMod 12.1 for the OnePlus 2.
Previously i was using @Grarak build, but later i compiled by my own.
This build is built directly from the CyanogenMod source code with absolutely no changes to it.
This is currently in Alpha/Beta so it may(definitely?) not have all of the OnePlus 2 and/or CyanogenMod features implemented.
I will do my best and try to upload nightly builds.
This build dosent have swap buttons and notification slider settings.
looking a way to integrating it. if you know then please tell me.

Yayy...First..!!
Will be looking forward how this development shapes up
Good to see that many devs are trying hard to get a fully working cm on our opt
Thanks
Are you working to help develop this ir are you simply building from source? If you're building from source, having nightlies is honestly useless. You only need to make a new build when new code is added! ;p
Thanks for the builds though!
If this are just builds from official source without any changes, is a repeated thread from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-built-official-t3266566
But if you gonna make changes on it, it's ok. Good luck!
Wow. Nice to see too many developers digging in
Thank you so much. Will test.

[DISCUSSION][AOSP] Let's build!

Ok, first i had done this for cm13, let's see what I can do for AOSP! Lulz. Think my earlier thread for cm13 created too much of hype and development restarted (joy++)
So, First of all, i haven't built AOSP as of yet for op2, will do it. If anyone can get the recovery working, or any progress, report here.
If we have AOSP caf tree, we will be able to port UBUNTU TOUCH, and many other ROMs based of aosp directly.
So here we go!

sure of course you can i already did it while cyanogenmod 13 was not yet booting.. the only thing is that you will have to modify tons of things into the device tree and tons of things into the aosp code to make hardware to work.. the only things that will work without modifications will be wifi and bluetooth.. maybe audio too but i'm not sure about that

Will definitely try to compile omni again once we have AOSP build.

Kind of crappy of me, I could have swore that I posted my experience with this, but I guess I went brain-dead
Build runs great. The fact that cm added all the typical features I use as stock work out great for minimal builds.
I know you guys are willing to take feature requests, and good on you guys for it, but if I could suggest to not loose sight of what it is as it stands.
There are many cm base Roms that have 80 features baked in, but there are still, not many granted but there are some around that prefer minimal Roms.
This ran better for me then any other cm base ROM on the n6 I flashed, and I think a good portion of that was due to the fact that it's vanilla. Massive amounts of features seem to bog Roms down for me, maybe it's placebo as I have no source, but that's how it shows via my useage.

[ROM][Unofficial][6.0.1] LineageOS 13

LineageOS Android Distribution 13 Unofficial Builds
LineageOS is the continuation of the now discontinued CyanogenMod.
Instructions
Make a Nandroid backup using TWRP or a similar custom recovery if flashing from a different ROM.
Download the latest LineageOS ROM (mirror) and copy it to either the internal storage or an OTG usb drive.
Download Magisk (root) and a Marshmallow (6.0) Google Apps Package (GApps) for ARM devices if desired (OpenGApps recommended).
Boot into the custom recovery (and factory reset if flashing from a different ROM).
Flash the ROM, GApps, etc. (download and flash Migrate.zip if the current ROM is an official build).
Bugs
Microphone doesn't appear to work over Bluetooth
Slight audio distortion in recorded videos
Camera applications may interfere with music playback

Great! Happy new year!
Good work,
do you actually plan on doing rebrading and contribute upstream or are you just doing builds?

At this point, this is just CyanogenMod (the only difference is that where was "CyanogenMod" is "LineageOS" now..) soo, you can use any cm screenshot to see how it look like
Looking forward for this.
Just curious, Is there will be official build of LineageOs for Ghost? just like CM official build?

At this point, it is difficult to determine if our device will be officially supported (I am not familiar with how builds become official as well).
Is there any place where we can see the changelog for this ROM?

I don't think the infrastructure for the Lineage OS is completely setup (http://lineageos.org/Infrastructure-Status-and-Official-Builds/), nor 3rd party apps that generate such data, so probably your best shot is to take a look at the latest commits (https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_motorola_ghost/commits/cm-13.0)
As a reminder: we have not started doing official builds yet. One of the benefits of this being an open source project is that anyone can build it, but please be careful flashing builds you’ve downloaded from other sources. We will have some more information on when weeklies (or possibly nightlies) will be starting soon.
Thanks!

I've already read the topic, but i found nothing about ghost going to get official lineageOs.
Maybe someone out there can find the answer and would like to share it. Just a hint, if every official cyangonmod supported devices will get official lineageOs.

IF they make nightlies for 6.0.1, then MAYBE ghost will get it.
