i bought moto 2(2015 ) yesterday its runnuing on android L the phone is quite good
but when i turn on the mobile data i cant find the " H " or " E " symbol in the notification bar so i was unable to identifiy
that my connection is in 2g or in 3g .but i can able to surf the internet the issue is i cant see H or E symbol i tried factory reset and wipe cache
etc... still the same result. IF anyone have any suggestion or solution to my problem plz do tell me

This is kind of strange can you post a screenshot. Just a simple question. Don't you have WiFi on? When WiFi is on the gsm data is stopped and no sign is shown.
no the wifi is not turned on. all is get is a exclamation symbol when the mobile data is off and the exclamation symbol is gone when the data is on but no H or E symbol is displaying
That's because you're in a roaming connection. It's a Lollipop feature, while it shows the R symbol, disapears the others.

My phone does that when the local cell tower is busy and it is prioritising voice and sms traffic over data. This happens a lot at premiership football games when there are 30,000 people all trying to get on the local cell.
Try moving your location a few miles and see if this resolves itself
Check apn settings
Disable Data
Reboot
Enable Data
Should work

I use only WiFi for internet but. My moto e device is showing symbol like in below screenshot. I don't want to see this symbol. Please help needed.
On the top of the screen you can see that E notification for internet connectivity. Even if I'm not connected to internet its showing not connected to internet please help here. I don't want to see this.
When I use wifi , WiFi symbol came up there and E goes away. After disconnecting WiFi that E symbol again shows up. Help please.
For that, there's nothing much we could do on Stock ROM, its done by Motorola's choice. Though it may come handy to know whether our current connection is running 2G/3G, but its of course useless without internet.
Hy guys I have problem with switching between signal H and H+. When I dont have turned on a mobile data signal icon is showing H. When I tun on the mobile data signal is switched to icon H+ and then every 5-7 sec. I dont have signal. When is phone turned in 2G mode only everything is OK but i it is slow internet speed because this is Edge. Is any solution to fix editing build.prop it to disable switching to H+? I want to have just H or E not H+. Thx for you reply. BTW sorry for my bad english.
My call log looks weird in nokia xl without phone symbol to call.i can send you screen shots.i restarted my mobile many times but nothing happend.i also reinstalled by wiping all datas and cache but still the same problem exists.also my wifi hotspot when i try to activate i loss wifi connection and loss the wifi symbol in the status bar along with hotspot symbol.so i have to restart each time to get the wifi working.how should i solve my hotspot bug.please help me at the earliest.
