What is this?
This is CyanogenMod 12.1 (based on Lysergic Acid CM12.1) with many features from the well known CM12.1S/Cyanogen OS 12.1 and CM11S made for the OnePlus One. All Apps are successfully ported from CM12S for the i9100 Galaxy S2, Quick Boot funktion is working very well and much more (read at features). The OnePlus One has a great Rom and why not giving the features to you all? That's the great reason why there is now CM12.1S for the S2.
The Rom has all features from Official CM12.1 and much more features are added, too.
I am the Maintainer and Developer of this Rom, but my work is based on Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1 from Lysergic Acid

Q&A:
Q: I cant flash this rom, my internal memory / Sytsem partition is too small.
A: Please increasy your system partition first, here is a good guide
Q: Can I dirty flash CM12.1S over Unofficial CM12, CM11 older versions or other Roms?
A: No! You will get many many Force Closes, Bugs, and much more. Don't do this!
Q: Why do I have to flash two parts of this rom to get one rom?
A: Since M2 my rom is based on official cm nightlies, and on official cm nightlies the folders inside /system are hide (not able to edit). Part 1 is mainly the rom and part 2 is the /system folder for this rom.
Q: How to get root access back or is this rom not rooted?
A: This rom is rooted, please enable Developer Options (Tap 7 times on build number in about phone), go to it and enable root access. You can enable there also the Quick Boot feature.
If you don't want to use CM's root access, please flash SuperSu in recovery.
Q: Rom installation/update failed, why?
A: TWRP Recovery is highly recommended for use! CWM is out of date and not made for Android 5.X! So try again with this Recovery by flashing the Kernel after the Rom. When it still does not work to UPDATE, try again with a Clean Flash!
---> Q: How to get TWRP on i9100 S2
---> A: Please download twrp-recovery-flashable.zip from download section and flash it on your device
Q: How do I get on-screen buttons with this rom/how can I activate them?
A: Open CM FileManager (pre installed on your device) and give it root access by opening options and choose mode from safe to root. Then go to /system and open build.prop, once it is opened got to the end and type in: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Q: My battery isn't that good and the phone laggs a bit.
A: See more at "How to improve Battery" in OP Thread.
Q: I want to test the RR based build, where is it?`
A: It was moved to the "Other" Folder in GDrive.

Rom is in progress. As it is based on CyanogenMod 12.1 it will have some issues.
I can't say which issues it has, I have to test and also I need testers. We will see more by tomorrow. Stay tuned.
But I can say it should be pretty stable and has no nasty or annoying bugs. But keep in mind: First release is BETA. Hope to get a stable version soon

Yeah no problem there. When there should be Problems use Google Camera. This rom contains CM OnePlus One Camera, and maybe has some bugs in first versions.

kernel.
I have the cyangon 3.0.64-cm-g526d694, build to kernel. Will this work with cm12 OK or do you suggest an alternative? Thanks in advance

This Rom will come with Apollo Kernel and the Config App pre installed. I think this is the best for our great i9100.
Wait until tomorrow. Then you can test the rom with Apollo Kernel.
But I don't understand your question, what do you mean with will the cyangon 3.0.64-cm-g526d694 kernel work? This is the kernel of your current rom.
Every rom brings is own (maybe sometimes similar) Kernel.
When you are on unofficial CM12 you will have to do a clean flash with this rom.

Sorry auto correct. I meant its build02. I'm pretty sure it can with my ROM as currently I running cm11 snapshot but not the latest version as had issues with that one. My real question is, does the ROM come with the kernel and gapps included?

Introduction
I started this project as a one-time test. But something was still bothering me - the latest version of CM for locked bootloaders was outdated
, so I released my test build to public. It received so much appreciation so I thought to release this periodically - and weeklies, released in the Friday-Saturday-Sunday period are the best I can give to the community. So, now just enjoy CyanogenMod for locked bootloaders!

Changelog
Build #12.5
- added intellimm, a new governor by faux123
It's so new that it's not on any govenor mega list, so here's some info about it:
intelliminmax (intellimm) governor is designed to work with the newer SOCs with fixed voltage rails (ie MSM8974+ SOCs). It is designed to work within thosefixed voltage ranges in order to maximize battery performance while creating a smooth UI operations.
So that's the theory, in practise it's only using three frequencies most often. It look like a stupid idea at a first glance, but the governor gave me another hour of screen on time(previously I was getting 4 hours, now I'm getting 5 hours with minimal perfomance impact)
Some more info here:
https://plus.google.com/+PaulReioux/posts/DkCKEWRJFnf
- added msm_cpufreq_limiter, so now the frequency of the second core is following the user's choice (previously the second core's max frequency was stuck on 1728Mhz)
- added TCP congestion algorithms:
* bic
* westwood
* highspeed
* hybla
* htcp
* vegas
* veno
* scalable
* lp
* yeah
* illinois
Some results with different ones:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28152737&postcount=2
(scroll down and skip all the tweakable values of other things)
- previous lagfix integrated
Build #12.1
- lags fixed
- discard option removed from fstab
Build #12
- fixed glove mode reverting after some time
- added another batch of governors, this time they are more "modern", and imo they are one of the best in its kind:
*smartassV2
*intellidemand2
*intelliactive
(thanks DooMLoRD and pec0ra)
*abyssplug
*adaptive
*badass
- added ROW I/O scheduler(thanks pec0ra)
- now ROM boots with noop, and after booting the default is row
- now ROM boots with performance governor set on boot, and then it gets back to interactive - the good old CM default
- merged improvements from the official trees
- added ZRAM driver, use any app, like Trickster Mod or Performance Control to set it up(thanks bagyusz for the idea and faux123 for the updated zram in Doomlord's kernel)
- CM source update(built off the stable branch)
- added frandom module(fast random number generator, works like Seeder - fyi - seeder and frandom don't give us such wonderful effects as on 2.3, but it at least decreases latencies, so it's an improvement )
- fixed mirroring sound thanks to @Steph310
- fixed SIM storage(SIM contacts, etc.)-proof:
- lowered the lowest brightness value from 10 to 1(seems like stock also uses that as the lowest one)
Older builds:
Build #11
- CM source update, check cmxlog for more info
- added some governors for you to choose and play , like:
* conservative
* lagfree
* lionheart
* powersave
* wheatley
- added some IO schedulers to go with the governors :
* sio
* vr
* bfq
* fifo
* fiops
* zen
Have fun finding the best combination for you!
The modules were compiled from their trees, so I have to at least mention them
Build #10
- CM source update
- SIM ICC number reading is fixed now(part of upcoming SEEK support)
- working FM radio reciever support
- working FM radio transmitter support - I guess you can make your own radio station that can transmit waves in a ~1m radius But to be serious - this could help people who want to listen to their music collection in a car that doesn't have bluetooth.
- cleaned up the leftovers from the faulty commits
- use the correct qc-opt library for power HAL to function properly
Build #9
- CM source update, check cmxlog for more info
Merged some bagyusz improvements, like:
- small cleanup in sources
- added dumpstate back for bug reporting
Build #8
- CM source updates, check them out:
http://www.cmxlog.com/11/huashan
- reverted to the source-built RIL, let me know if it fixes the connectivity issues(especially data connections, like LTE, etc., etc.)
- cleanups to the makefiles
- small changes to RIL
- switch to the c2d composition type(previously cpu was doing all the job, now the screen composing is split between CPU and GPU)
Build #7
- GPU drivers updated to newest available ones (yuga .283 firmware ones)
- swapped EGL config with a proper one, now it references adreno instead of adreno200
- add setup_fs service into the init part - if your device was freshly unlocked, it will prepare the filesystem on /data for you
- removed wheatley and lionheart governors, as they were a little bit bugged
- cherrypicked some bagyusz commits(most of them, just without the whole device tree splitting, I'm leaning towards unification where possible with UB trees)
- hijack.tar is now split into two parts - backend.tar and ramdisk.tar(it creates more room for homemade experiments, and makes users more safe - now you need to screw up two files instead of one to make the device unusable)
- minor cleanup in the ramdisk scripts, to make it more like in the official repos
- revert back to official releasetools(updater-script and binary in the final package) to make flashing more seamless and "stable"
And, this is something that you won't expect:
- CM source updates, covered in the good old nightly flavour
Build #6
- merged all the improvements from official trees, like:
* new qcom power HAL
* new libqc-opt.so library
- one change to GPU driver subsystem that's not even committed yet(test the gaming performance and tell me if it's better, for me it fixed choppy menu animations in GTA:SA)
- CM source updates:
* SystemUI crashes fixed
* other improvements, check cmxlog.com for the full CM change list
- probably more stuff that I can't recall, I'm a little bit sick
Anyways, enjoy!
Build #5
- removed FM radio
- CM source update
- lags fixed
- audio imbalance fixed
Build #4
- added FM radio(not working right now)
- fixed reboots when using BT and mirroring
- CM source update
- VPNs fixed
- possibly battery drain fixed
Build #3:
- xLoud - not the real one, but done with editing sound card control files
- touch sensitivity fixed
- CM sources update
Build #2:
- added I/O speedup on early-init
- CM source update
- speed up booting by a large margin
- remove knight rider led animation
- misc cleanups in our device trees(nfcee debug features enabled)
- Add glove mode toggle
Build #1:
- CyanogenMod source updates( many fixes to Telephony, Camera and others)
- Sony RIL(some bugs fixed)
- Fixed echoes in speakerphone calls

Yes, you definitely can, but if I were you, I would choose the CM nightlies instead
Nope I hate this nightly system... Just weekly one fully stable like you do your work mr prefect mr steve ?

Oh! Nice! The nightlies that come out in the 28-8 build can be installed? I thought that in the LBL ROMs they couldn't be installed.
Thanks
Am I reading the op wrongly? CM11 is 4.4.X kitkat and not 4.3.X jellybean right?

What is this?
This is CyanogenMod 12 (based on JustArchi/arter97) with many features from the well known CM12S/Cyanogen OS 12 and CM11S made for the OnePlus One. All Apps are successfully ported from CM11S for the i9300 Galaxy S3 and much more (read at features). The OnePlus One has a great Rom and why not giving the features to you all? That's the great reason why there is now CM12S for the S3.
The Rom has all features from Official CM12 and much more features are added, too.
I am only the Publisher of the CM12.1 based rom! Keep in note that Kevin210898 is the developer. I am helping him with support and more! So if you have probelms ask me. I have also contact to the dev.

Q&A:
Q: Can I dirty flash CM12.1S over CM12S/Unofficial CM12 or older versions?
A: No! You will get many many Force Closes, Bugs, and much more. Don't do this!
So try again with this Recovery. When it still does not work to UPDATE, try again with a Clean Flash!
Also make a clean flash with the newest version or try Boeffla Kernel. Don't forget the Boeffla Config App for better control etc!
Q: I am on CM12.1 based and want to switch to Nameless based (or the other way). Is a clean flash needed?
A: YES!
MORE ARE COMING SOON!
Sorry, but I am confused. You had beta2 for this rom, what happened to that? And why flash 1 & then 1.1,why can't it be one flashable file?
Thanks for your time and efforts

Ok, I will add the feature from release 1.
You have to flash Build one and after that V1.1 becaue this is only a small update, it was not necessary to build the whole new rom.
Beta 2 was from CM12.1S, this project is now dead and wont recieve updates, because the rom had many bugs and it was not possible to add all OnePlus One apps, because they were made for CM12 and not for CM12.1, this is why there is now this thread. Sorry, pretty annoying, I understand that.
EDIT: You can now see all added features in Build one, go to Changelog and show old versions.
I am a bit confused.
Is this rom just normal CM12 but with the CM12S apps,or a completely pure CM12S port?

We are currently working on a Bug fix for Camera. Try to use Google Camera instead until we publish the Update.
Have you installed the Build 2 1.1 update? It seems that you have not, because in this build OTA was deleted, in Build 1 it is inside.
One Theme has to be empty because this is the default theme. The other One should be a OnePlus One theme, should work in next builds.
Panorama mode should be fixed in newest update.
As I can see that there are many Problems with the Update we will publish for now only whole updates with whole Rom, not these small ones anymore.
Added Camera2 means the new Camera with fixes.
Thanks for logcat and the answers!
@mcqaissi Can I use your Screenshots in the OP Thread Section?

NOTE - The new LVY48F build has not been thoroughly tested by me yet. It booted a little slow and sluggish after upgrading to the latest build. I then tested a clean install and had no problems. I tried a newer gapp as well and had no problems. I restored my backup, cleared the cache, and then installed the LVY48F build. After a few minutes and letting it settle I rebooted and its running great!
WARNING - I managed to end up in a bootloop after installing Deep Darkness Theme. I restored a BACKUP and will look into the problem tomorrow. Others have had this problem on different phones. Remember to always do a backup before making major changes to your phone.
NOTE - Deep Darkness boot animation caused the problem. I've tried other themes without the boot animation bootloop. You can use the Deep Darkness theme but DO NOT select the boot animation.

Thank you for the feedback! If you see anything out of the ordinary please let me know.
Dumb me... I'm still on the previous 10/9/15 build. When I try to flash the new build, I get a status 6 error. I've tried a cache wipe and also a dirty flash and still the same thing. I'm not smart enough to edit the path according to the previous build.
---------- Post added at 10:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 AM ----------
I'll try a full wipe and new install this afternoon along with the new set of gapps.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM! Malformed script. I Downloaded it and tried to install it and received the same error. I uploaded a new copy. Thank you professorfoxx for letting me know!
No problem. I can't access your page anymore for the download. Something about "403 permission denied" on your oinmm page.

GOOD! Again, thanks for letting me know of any problems.
Audio Problem Fix
A member on my site informed me of an audio problem with the 09.15.15 build. I'm not sure if it effects the 09.10.15 build. It turns out you are unable to play audio files stored on the phone. The following fix will fix playing audio files on your phone. I also tested out changing my ringtone to an mp3 file and it works fine.
Go to Settings > About phone and tap the Build number seven times. This will unlock Developer options in Settings. Tap the back button to go back to Settings. Scroll down and go to { } Developer options. Scroll down until you see an entry under Media that says Use AwesomePlayer (deprecated) and disable it so its using NuPlayer. Now restart your phone.
I've been running the new build since 17/9/15 and so far, everything still runs smoothly. This is actually a very stable, solid build and everything works as if it was meant for the Galaxy Mega as stock. Most importantly, battery life has greatly improved with regular use. Getting roughly 10 hours off a full charge.

Great! I believe, well at least for me, that I've increased the battery life in the last few builds. I am really proud of the 09.27.15 build. Right now I'm testing my overclock kernel on that build. I am definitely enjoying the battery difference from the old 5.0.2 ROM.
Im definitely looking forward to flashing the next build.

Remember that the recent builds are located at www.ionmm.com. This OC Kernel is running smooth. I may post it Tuesday or Wednesday.
I love the ROM but have had one issue with it not wanting to recognize my micro SD card which was previously working fine

Now that's strange. I test every BUILD by backing up my current session and installing clean and testing mp3's/video's on my sdcard; the one time I didn't a member noticed that music stored on his sdcard wouldn't play correctly. Also I store all my ROM's on my sdcard. I then restore my backup and either dirty flash or wipe dalvik/art cache and flash the new build. So far your the only one with the sdcard problem. What build date are you using? A good test to see if its the ROM is to mount your sdcard using Philz Touch Recovery while plugged into USB. It should mount and you should see it in Linux/Windows. Please test that and let me know what happens.
Directions: Hold power and choose reboot then reboot to recovery/Mounts and Storage/Mount USB Storage. You should see your sdcard in linux/windows. On my linux desktop it shows 32 GB Volume.
Running the new build for a full day and noticeably smooth. For the exception of the added apps, the new build improved battery life more with normal wear. Dirty flashed worked very well. No more random . Just gets better. :good:

Thanks for the feedback and screenshot of the battery. I'm testing the Overclocked kernel and it does take a bite into battery life. Glad dirty flashing isn't causing problems. Awesomeplayer is fixed in this build but is outdated so I'm sticking with Nuplayer by default. I removed the added apps for next build.
Added overclocked and stock kernel for download.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Currently using Samsung Stock 5.0.2 Rom. Installed CyanogenMod 13 and it boot loops. Stuck on the Samsung logo what to do?
You have to Install Samsung Stock Firmware (Indian). The reason is because the older firmware causes Modem Crash due to which CM boot loops. You can download firmware from following link.
A700FDDDU1BPA2
I have heating issues with my device. What is the reason?
On CyanogenMod 13 there are no heating issues. The device does heat if you use your device aggressively, like if you are using WiFi, LTE, 3G, Data Services, Games continuously then it is normal that your device heats up. It is due to the load on the CPU. It will happen in stock too.
cant wait for this to be fully functional.. :victory::victory::victory:
i cant test it right now since im using my phone for calls and sms, but once this is fully functional, i will say goodbye to my stock ROM.. thanks jackeagle!

Haha well yes working on RIL. Once that is fixed you can use this Rom has daily driver. Since i dont own the device i work with testers. working on it!
Same with Electroflux003. Can't risk my A700FD yet but the frustration is getting real because sammy can't even update it to 5.1.1 unlike others say J7 2015. Seeing someone working on cm 13 for the phone is a godsend. Thanks jackeagle!! ☺
This is absolutely wonderful news Jackeagle. I'd love to try this ROM as soon as calls/sms starts working. Great job man. ?
You're a saviour.
Nice. This is officially cygenmod..
What we can do if we want calls and sms ??
will there ever be a cyanogenmod for this device with RIL?

Yes Jackeagle is gonna bring it as you can see.. As he'z working with Testers and doesnt own the device, it will be delayed probably or will take more time.
@jackeagle Thanks a lot for compiling cm13 for Galaxy A7. Much appreciation for your work. Hoping you get more time to work on fixing RIL in this build.

first of all please read OP everything is written there what is working and what is not working there is always a reason why we write in OP.
Installing rom is your choice i cant say whether u should or should.
Android Custom Rom's are tested well before release and usually Developers dont release something which can brick a device. In usual circumstances its the user who do not read OP and do not follow what is written in OP and thus end up bricking device. if everyone reads OP carefully nothing will happen and ofcourse you should have backup of everything including EFS.
Regarding update kindly do not ask for updates or status. I will surely provide all status whenever i feel all members should know

Samsung Galaxy A8 (a800I) is a Exynos based Device and I dont develop for Exynos based device.
No you cannot port this Rom to A800I because this rom is for Qualcomm based SOC which A700FD uses and your device uses Exynos which is different SOC.

Can you add Multi Window Support in the next release of this rom for J500F..??
Thanks in advance..
Just use CM13... lol
Cm 13 is not yet stable, fully working. And dont try to undermine other peoples work.
Hi there
Who can help me to understand and solve the following situation: i want to add spelling romanian language to stock cm12.1 keyboard. Romanian language is available only just as language, for entire operation system, not for spelling purposes (is not in the spelling languages list when i try to add it). So, how can i add it whitout installing another app like Google Keyboard? Is possible?
I use Nicke Verse CM12.1 version from 15.07 on a J500FN.
Best!

Propably CyanogenMod official developers didn't add the spelling feature for Romanian language in the official repository! You can contribute in GitHub on your own if you want, or PM a Developer!

Multi-Window support uses Android API 24, which means you will have to wait for Android 7.0!

I was referring to adding multi-window support... because it's kinda buggy if implemented on Lollipop...
I never undermine anyone's work and am currently using Nick Verse's CM12...
Sorry for the misunderstanding...

It was a relevant answer to the multi-window question. I don't mess anything.
Updated [Downloads Tab]
Updated SM-J500FN. Next is SM-J500F. Download links will be in the downloads tab from now on.
Audio Latency
We have noticed some longer than usual audio delays a long time ago in CM builds from source.
The main concept is to make the builds as fast responding as possible.
- Currently the audio.primary.msm8916 module is a proprietary blob, because without it in-call audio breaks. (related to proprietary Samsung RIL blobs)
- Disabled AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_FAST, as it is constantly denied in logs even when set in native 44100 sampling rate.

@Nick Verse
Thank you for your awesome work!
I think I'll test the new version later.
By the way, I think you should mention in OP how to download, because some people use the old XDA theme (2010), including me (but I know how to download) and they can't see the project tabs unless they switch to at least 2013 theme.
EDIT:
@Nick Verse : When you go to downloads tab, there is download link. You can put it in OP as direct download link, but people will still have to switch to at least 2013 theme. Maybe you can put the link of downloads tab too. It's your choice
PS: limited to thanks button -_-
