Can I get samsung apps store on my NOTE i717 running kitkat? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I have been playing around with my note in the past while, and I found a rom that I like and is fairly stable. Its daydream 4.4.4... I am wondering about installing samsungs apps store. Can I get it and where do I find it? I signed in with my Samsung account and I cannot seem to find the download to install it. I tried another route and the apps store just opens and gives me the build number and does nothing else.
Any help would be appreciated!
thanks

There is no stock ROM available for the note above Jellybean. Therefore no Samsung apps on KitKat. If it's just regular apps you need, use Google Play store included in any gapps package. If you really need Samsung apps use a stock based ROM. (Custom Canadian, Blackstar, Padawan, Only one, etc)

good reason. ha ha! thanks again. I guess I will have to google some alternatives for the apps I have been using before.

Jelly Bean and paid apps bug; any workarounds?

Just flashed randomblame's excellent JELLYTIME ROM on my Inspire. It's working great, but like so many others I've been bitten by the paid app bug in the Play Store encryption process. I'm looking for a work-around, but there doesn't seem to be much out there, or I'm missing it.
As far as widgets go, HD Widgets responded well to the "back up, delete and restore" treatment. But neither of my preferred keyboards (SwiftKey or Thumb Keyboard) will persist after a reboot. I tried the process mentioned above, but keyboard still reverts to stock. I'm using a free version of another keyboard app, and it does persist, but I'd really like to find a better solution.
3 questions:
1. Is there a workaround to get these keyboard apps to persist? I've found nothing, and I'd rather not go through the whole installation process every time I reboot.
2. If not, is there a way to use Tasker to install after reboot? I'm not really knowledgable about Tasker, and this seems to be beyond it's capabilities, but I'm not sure.
3. I've read that Google disabled encryption in the JB Play Store. What does that mean exactly? That apps purchased from JB Play aren't encrypted? If that's the case then they should persist correct? But I have, I think, the JB Play Store, and when I installed SwiftKey from Play, it still doesn't persist. Maybe I don't actually have JB Play. Or maybe Play remembers that my phone was originally Gingerbread and it won't let me install JB apps. I don't know.
Any suggestions?
P.S. Just checked. Along with JELLYTIME I flashed JB gapps zip found in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796675
Looks like the right one to me. Hmm...
Another P.S. When I search Play Store for Google Wallet on my laptop, it tells me it's not compatible with my phone. So I'm thinking Play doesn't realize I'm running JB. Is there a way to fix this?

[Q] Apps from Samsung store to Nexus 10?

I know the answer is most likely no but I figured asking won't hurt. I have a few apps from the Samsung app store and wondered if I can get them somehow to my Nexus 10. (they are paid apps not available on the Google store). I got a Tb copy of the. Apk straight from my phone but it checks the license on my Tab and fails (of course).
So can I activate Samsung apps on the Nexus 10?
Well figured I'd rather post this in the Nexus forum. Any who if you got an idea let me know.

I tried this once as well with a AOSP/AOKP rom and it didn't work because (1) the Samsung App Store didn't work without Samsung framework and (2) the apk didn't install as you mentioned. Hence I guess you need the Samsung framework to run it, but maybe someone with more experience can give his point of view.
It won't work unfortunately, due to not having the TouchWiz framework. If you could put a ROM on your tablet that features touchwiz then you should be able to install the app with no issues.
Oh well thanks for the answers though. Maybe it arrives on the play store some day.

Ultimate Music Control Provider .APK Request

I've been trying to get Ultimate Music Control to work on a non-Samsung custom ROM. I have the app on the watch, but I lost my backup when reflashing my phone(oops), and it's only available on the Galaxy store so I can't download it.
Can someone get the .apk with Titanium backup, or with anything really?
If it works, I'll write a tutorial.
Thanks a lot!
UPDATE
So I installed it, but it shows no sign of connection between the phone and the watch. It still seems to rely on the Gear Manager bullcrap.

And you tried changing through the different methods on the phone app side of the player? I had to switch between them for different music players. For the majority of the music apps I use it for, most of them won't show any track information on the watch. I am also using a custom ROM. It is still a Touchwiz based ROM. They stripped as much Touchwiz out of it that they could to get it as close to AOSP as possible. I initially had issues when accessing the Galaxy app store saying something like " Error This device does not support Samsung GALAXY Apps." I re-flashed a couple times and finally got it working by not allowing it to update itself as much as I could get away with. I have a feeling with a little mucking around you can get it to at least connect/control music.
I did try the different methods. I just use stock CyanogenMod, which has none of the Touchwiz/Galaxy apps software.
EDIT: What ROM are you using?
I'm using Eclipse S5 TW for my S5 Verizon since it is the closest I can get to AOSP with locked bootloader.

[Q] Need help with everything google related verizon rooted galaxy s4

Alright so basically everything I'm about to say will make me look like an idiot. I've poked around on my phone removing a bunch of stuff it looked like I didn't need with some of it being recommended to not be removed and one day I couldn't connect to the google play store because it said check your connection and try again with a retry button and hitting retry would just bring the profile panel out from the side. So I installed the alternative App Store Aptoide and everything was fine because I didn't need the play store. i think I may have used lucky patcher the first time I screwed up the play store and tried to install clean versions now that I think of it. But now no google app whatsoever works including stuff like snapchat that says I need to update google play services in order to continue and then it takes me to my broken play store. I've tried to uninstall updates and reinstall the google apps to no avail. Please help! I'm slowly losing functionality of my phone

Your best bet will be to reflash a stock rom for your device. Also Aptoide and lucky patcher are warez apps and not allowed to be talked about on the site. Either one of those could easily have had some malware embeded into the apks.
Word of advice. Unless you know what your doing dont go deleting things.
Thanks, sorry I didn't know about those apps. Roughly how much will I lose by flashing a stock rom?

You will most likely be starting from a clean set up so back up everything you need like pictures and such.
Also this is probably also not allowed but where can I get a stock rom since I never backed mine up ? I know I'm stupid

Look in the forums for your device. A simple Google search for stock rom (device name) should get you what you need.

Can I stop my phone automatically installing apps?

Got a no mark S4 clone on 4.2, perfectly happy with it, got CWM and a new rom on it, its fine.
I have exposed and boot manager and once a day it has its icon telling me 'google play services' has auto installed, and every other day an app called 'recents' with a sort of C:\ terminal icon. Now, neither of these I want, I've deleted them so, SO many times, selected 'dont auto update' and also 'dont notify' from within google play, set my firewall to block anything google when on 4g etc...
Is there ANY way to stop it installing stuff I dont need?

The only way is to build a new aosp rom for your device. My advise is remember that you get what you pay for and clones never really have any of the hardware they claim they do. I think you will find you are better off ditching the device and buying a new one.

That doesnt actually help me at all.
The phone is fine, no issue with it. Has a new rom on it, specs were as described, its a problem with google, and the play store auto installing, it did this on my old S2 and my galaxy tab stock, so its not the hardware.
There must be a way to stop the play store doing this apart from uninstalling the play store as I am currently doing.

Then that will lead me to think it is one of the apps you have installed. Some shady apps like CCleaner will install other apps. I would wipe the device completely and then install your apps one by one until you find the issue.
