The first page has instructions.
You can flash stock (sony) Roms on locked boot loader. If you unlock you can flash any ROM.

Can call recording feature be added to this ROM?
I need call recording because i travel a lot, and many times i don't have a peace of papper and a pencil/pen, nor i can't even write because i'm busy, driving, etc. For me it comes really handy the recording calls feature. i have a xzu c6833 LB.
Cheers

Custom Roms
So it turns out I can't unlock my bootloader but can still use this method to root. Does this still mean that I can flash custom roms on my phone? I was very excited to get cyanogenmod on this beast of a phone, it'll be really disappointing if I can't.
OTA Updates
Will rooting the phone still give me access to OTA updates? And if I do still get them, will updating to Lollipop remove root from the phone?
how to lock the bootloader

There is no root exploit for 4.4.4 with locked bootloader yet. You can root a previous fw and flash a pre-rooted 4.4.4 rom in recovery.

There is no way to root that, at least with locked bootloader.
I kind of rushed into this
Just wondering mainly about the 'TA' stuff, from what I read - this will not affect any of that and I can unroot and get it back to warranty standard at any time by flashing, but how would I go about backing up the TA after this has completed?
Also will i lose my google auth app when this has completed because I totally overlooked that when I started and I'm worried now I will be locked out of all my accounts. lol
Thanks guys

DRM keys are only lost if you unlock your bootloader. Flashing stock ftf does not do that (exclude .ta files and use the same country/provider you bought the phone from)

If you have a Sony ZU then any 4.2 FTF will do the trick, and it seems to stay after an upgrade to 4.4.4 and custom ROMs (and I guess LP). You may lose IMIE temporarily while on 4.2 but it will come back when you re-upgrade to 4.4.4
What i am asking is.since my bootloader is unlocked and rooted.do i need to restore drm keys too for this method.will my root or bootloader be affected by this method ?

no your bootloader will not be effected, but you will lose root, you are flashing a full system image after all
what if i just flash the .zip and not the ftf.will that effect?
coz i just need the caliberation option for my sensors and then i will be back to lillipop via nandroid backup?
i just too confused.please help.i dont want to brick it.does kernel come into play here?
and btw here the post says special feature - FULL ROOT
doesnt that mean i will have root access?

Make nandroid (although the GPe port doesn't seem to like to be installed this way from reports in the thread)
Flash FTF 4.2 or 4.3
Calibrate
Flash 4.4.4 FTF (you need to be on 4.4.4 for all new ROMs)
Root
Install recovery
Install 5/LP or restore nandroid

no you can't
it's so simple to flash recovery i recommend TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-t3147675
1- if you unlocked bootloader download flashify from play store and download TWRP 2.8.7.0
2- extract the zip and put on sdcard or external_sd card image-new.img
3- open flashify => it will ask root access. grant root access =>
4- go into recovery image => select choose file => select the image_new.img you extracted => YUP !

How can I root my Z2 with Marshmallow?

Hey!
recently flashed the Autralian MM FTF onto my Z2 D6503!
Now i miss my loved apps like Greenify, Lucky Patcher, Intelli3G, XPOSED, a custom recovery, amplify and so on. I tried to root it using KingRoot4.6 (sucsessfully) and then used Supersume.apk to replace the kingroot app with supersu. but after every reboot i need to root it again, which means my methode isn``t working problery! How can i root it? i really want SuperSU, Busybox, Xposed and the [NUT`s] Dual Recovery!
thats the build:
D6503_23.5.A.0.570_1281-9715_R4D
It depends on weather you want to unlock your bootloader or not
I typically flash a Kernel with recovery then flash systemless root but you do require a unlocked bootloader to do it this way
You could downgrade to KK, use a root tool to install root and recovery then use recovery to upgrade to a pre-rooted MM
Sent from my D6503 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Afaik the only way for the moment, it's to downgrade to a previous version, then flash a MM pre rooted rom.

You can use a tool called PRFCreator, you will need a SuperSu zip and a FTF of your choice
Sent from my E6653 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I tried to do that (downgrading to KK, rooting, dual recovery, making a flashable pre rooted MM) but ended up with bootloops. Tried to flash a stock however I, with difficulty, could only flash KK again. This time I used wirelessly downloaded all the software updates.
I think I will wait some time, till a better way exists.
There is a pre-rooted MM in the forum, I've tried earlier. But it is for D6503, not my d6502. It has a 3g fix, but in About Phone, it reads D6503. And root isn't working there as well. or perhaps I was doing something wrong.
I'm starting to think that MM isn't root-friendly
