- bottom virtual navigation keys, to compensate the non-function of swipe in some phones
- many fixes in code;
- cleaned up the source code;

- wipe all - preflash option;
- removed nvram backup/restore because it can corrupt the bootloader;
- a new advanced backup/restore menu
- separate power and wipe menu
- aroma file manager integration (you can flash the attached AromaFM_installer.zip in recovery, and that will place the aromafm.zip at its place).
- new GUI images, very light (the difference between non-touch modded cwm and this one is only 14 Kb, for 720x1280 resolution)

my phone is lava iris x8. when i flash this i got the DROM error and now it doesn't boot or respond to any key press. even when i plug in my phone to pc, it does not recognize my phone. i've tried reinstalling all drivers for sp flash tool and my phones driver yet to no avail.:crying:

i've got a situation critical, my phone is not booting into recovery mode , when i am pressing volume up+power button , black screen appearing , this problem happened when i tried to flash recovery img into my phone, before this happened i was able to boot into recovery mode.

I have a request for port cwm for Lava A68 and A51 (spreadtrum chipsets SC7731). I have stock recovery.img for both.
I tried but TWRP - no buttons and touch works, in MIUI recovery - all works but no one command like install zip, backup, restart, ect.
Can You port for Lava users of this models?

Installation:
since our device developers are constantly trying to fix bugs, they are always changing something in init.*.rc files for testing. For this reason I can't post a regular boot.img file because it won't work. For now, I've created a script that will take all init.*.rc files from current rom's boot.img and then compile new boot.img with TWRP inside it.
Note : For Rooted & Unlocked Bootloader Only
Note : For 4.4 ROM (should work on older version of android upto 4.1). I only tested with CM11. So please provide feedback
1) Download the latest zip file.
2) Extract it in a folder and place your current rom's boot.img inside that folder. (it must be named boot.img)
3) For latest ramdisk, download it and replace the old initrd.gz with it.
4) Connect your phone with PC. (adb must be working)
5) Open your command line and cd to that folder
6) For linux users, type

For windows users, type

new boot.img file will be created in the current directory named new_boot.img. Power off your phone and flash the boot image.

@NoobCoder : TWRP is working to some extent with CM10 (LE) but the only issue is the USB Mass Storage mode, somehow it is not getting recognized by my PC?! I'm also having the exact same issue when porting the latest CM11 CWM recovery to older Kernels! Here's the logcat, hope you can find what's wrong? -

I flashed Pinto thakur ROM, it's awesome but there are few bugs which is causing lot of problems in gallery and game play. accelerometer and auto-rotation has sopped working and i couldnt find any solution. I tried XDA site where few are telling if we create a flash able zip of the stock rom where all the sensors were working, then it can be used to correct custom rom problem, could you please help. please look into this problem.
Has anyone found solution?? If any possible ways also please suggest.
On stock ROM all sensors were fine, but in custom the sensors are not working. Can't play temple run and other games where accelerometer is needed.

Hi, i did your rom, and now i want to roll back to to the stock rom. Unfortunately my recovery was lost due to a system error. play store not working. if any body have a recovery file please share. I tried to re install the stock rom (its in a cpb format) using the ydgp tool, but its not responding to my device. i gave it to the mmx service center, they failed too. tried different usb and preloader drivers. but ydgp is not responding. even the sp flash tool too. help me please. i am just a begginer.

Did anyone experience bad battery backup with this rom??
I am using this rom since 2 weeks n my experience with battery is worst. Stock rom had osm battery backup. I use Dr. battery to clean up background processes but all failed. In Stock rom battery capacity was for 1.5 day with active socials, games etc but with this rom have to charge twice a day with same amount of usage as stock.
My only concern with PureAOSP rom is bad battery life otherwise everything is smooth. Do anyone have solution for better battery life??

1. You need your device to be rooted.
2. Search on Google for your phone dimension's boot animation, here, 1280x720. (It would be a zip file)
3. Download it and replace it with the current boot animation zip file.
You would find it in System>Media.

My first ROM for Qmobile Noir A600 and other clone devices.
ROM FEATURES:

also, i cant reboot into recovery, cwm and twrp doesnt work it just reboots to a qmobile logo everytime, HELPPPP !!!

Combo Key:
To reboot in Recovery with hardware keys:
- Power off your device
- Press and hold Vol+ + Vol- + Power until TWRP boots.
TWRP and Internal Memory:
The Lenovo ROM mounts internal memory directly from "/data/media".
But on TWRP, it uses the "emulated" mount option, meaning internal memory is mounted as "/data/media/0". It's also true for custom ROMs which are using the same built Kernel as TWRP.
That means:
- Every files generated by TWRP (like backups) are visible in the "0" directory when you're in OS Mode
- If you need to see files from your OS Internal Memory, you can open and browse manually "/data/media" or just simply connect your USB and copy files to your phone, TWRP will put them in the accessible Internal Memory (ie /data/media/0) and your files will be directly visible.

That obvious , device should be Unrooted and should have STOCK recovery for OTA updates.

I wonder why this is working on locked bootloader devices?
I tried to flash on my K32c36(Chinese vibe k5 plus), but it failed because it detect bootloader is locked
Edit: Tried to flash this recovery via FlashFire, but failed. If this is also for Vibe K5 plus?

1. Activate the Developer options (Settings> About phone> Device Information> to tap 7 times in Build number)
2. Enable USB debugging (Settings> Developer> USB Debugging)
3. Enable OEM unlock (Settings> Developer> Unlock OEM)
4. Connect the phone with the USB cable to the computer
5. Install the drivers that come on the CD cell partition.
6. Install "Minimal adb and FlashBoot" (if not already installed).
7. Download the TWRP recovery created by @Shreps, and copy it to the folder where abd is installed.
8. Run the Minimal adb and FlashBoot program or open the command line in the folder where the abd installed.
9. Run the command "adb devices" to confirm the connection. If you have never done before in this cell, the cell must confirm the adb connection.
10. When the adb confirm the connection, run the "adb reboot bootloader" Fastboot command to enable the functionality.
11. If you want a temporary recovery run the "fastboot boot TWRP-k5-3.0.2-r1_shreps.img" command. If you want to permanently run the "fastboot flash recovery TWRP-k5-3.0.2-r1_shreps.img" command.
12. You can now use the TWRP recovery in the K5 / K5 plus!

One feature that has actually existed for quite some time in the TWRP respository but which has never been shipped in an official build is ADB backup. That will soon be changing, however, as we have learned that version 3.1.0 of TWRP will finally ship with ADB backup support, thus allowing you to make full data/system application backups straight to your computer.

long press power button to boot in to recovery
if your device doesnt support this feature, simply turn device off then press all together vol +, Vol- & Power button untill on screen appears msg saying press volum up to enter recovery mode
head over to downloaded TWRP V.3.1.0 flashable zip & flash without wiping anything & reboot to brand new TWRP manually.

Installing from PC using ADB
download provided zip & extract recovery.img to root of ur device internal memory
Connect the phone to PC via USB & turn on ADB debugging in developer option
enter the following command via ADB

I know what's the issue.Its just that,A350 uses a different touch drivers than all other mtk devices,so in ported Twrp touch doesn't work.All we need to do is compile a Twrp from source.But why see all that trouble when Philz works fine,atleast for now when Nougat is not anytime soon

I request that you instal the Device Info HW app by Andrey Efremov and select the Info Center option to upload device information (components) to the database. Notice that if you grant root access to the Device Info HW app (Use root in its Settings) it enables more information to be uploaded, like LCM, TOUCHSCREEN, PMIC and MODEM.

Afaik,Mmx Canvas Knight has only two clones: Wiko Highway & Myphone Infinity.

The only way to clear that doubt is to publish a list of components for Micromax Canvas Knight A350. Can you do it, please?
