External portable (bluetooth) speakers?

Hi all,
I recently decided to upgrade from an N7000 to the N9005. And what a change it is ^_^ I can finally keep up with the latest games and whatnot.
I however find the Note 3 speaker terrible. It distorts with the slightest sound it seems. I tried a few units and it seems to be a problem with most Note 3s.
Does anyone know of any portable speakers (preferably bluetooth) that aren't too expensive? I'm not really looking for high quality here. Mostly to use with podcasts and some gaming. I looked around for some soundbars, but they are very expensive apparently

I personally use this http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...,electronics&rh=i:electronics,k:hmdx jam plus
It is loud enough for outdoors and perfect for indoor use.
Thanks for the tip! I'll see if they'll ship to Europe or if amazon.de/.co.uk carries it
Edit: Found one in .nl I'll go have a look tomorrow ^^

my wife likes the jbl flip they come in colors (except pink) she can listen to her music and answer calls'
i like my jbl charge no call answering but real loud and my headset stays connected for calls
I recommend the Jambox Mini. On sale $30 cheaper than I just paid at a big box store. It comes in several face design and color options and the sound puts the more expensive Beats Pill to shame.

Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
Braven B710.
Splash and dustproof, NFC, Apt-X, 12 hours playback time, use a powerbank for your phone, media playback controls on the speaker (AVRCP), can be wirelessly paired with another for stereo sound, stunning build quality and looks with an aluminium enclosure. Selling for $100USD on Amazon right now.
SO. GOOD.
I have an Oontz by Cambridge Soundworks, it was only 50.00 shipped. I love this thing it's incredibly loud for its small size. My girlfriend has one she also loves it, and my mom has a different model than us and it sounds equally good. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_pp_2?rh=i:aps,k:Oontz&keywords=Oontz&ie=UTF8&qid=1394169461

Bobovr z5 3d ?

Anyone tried the BOBOVR Z5 3D with the XZ Premium? What's your impressions?
Do U know the answer yet. I want to buy it as well but I don't know if it will work.
There is no reason why it wouldn't work. There no tech inside the Bobo Z5, so it will be compatible with anything that fits between...... just a well made cardboard.
As I own both XZP and Bobo Z5 I can tell you following facts:
- the FOV is no where near 120° , it depends on your eye to lens and lens to phone display distance as well as the ipd distance , I have almost the perfect average ipd with 65mm and with the best settings I found so far, I have somewhere around 80-90° FOV by guessing in comparison with my 2016 GearVR (assuming this has exactly 90°fov)
- the lenses seem to be good, better than GVR 2016 , the image stays clear within peripheral vision , that was not the case with the Samsung
- Headphones are a plus, If they were bluetooth, they would have been better, cable does often come in the way while putting your phone in
- be aware of having to set up the headset for your needs , takes some time with calibration, I would recommend sitesinvr , they offer a calibration tool and the possibility to export your config to a qr code you can scan afterwards to overwrite the standard cardboard preset
- bobovr's own qr code isn't working properly, you will most likely get a fisheye view then
- not the most comfortable headset , but I'm pretty sure there is alot worse hardware available, it sits pretty good on your head, backstrap with knob to tighten is a bit uncomfortable if you are leaning with the back of your head on the sofa or anywhere else , a flex-strap system like samsung would be more shaky but more comfortable
- lenses do not fog up easyly , this is a big plus
- I would recommend inserting the xzp into the z5 without any cases around. It is perfectly possible (I have a Spigen Rugged armor case) alignment / image quality is slightly improved with the case removed)
Overall:
- cardboard image drifting sucks !!
- 4K screen is a big plus compared to my old galaxy s6 2560x1440 display
-XZP's LCD screen is alot slower than Samsungs Oleds , but this tradeoff might be ok if you do not look around too much etc.
I have it since october.
Yes, bobo VR Z5! It works great but keep in mind without tempered glass screenprotector.
Ittook over 1 month to come from china, and the remote was discharged so I jump started the battery 3-4 times with 5v for one second and it did charge after.
I have it like new. thinking to sell it ...
how much do you offer?
i bought some years ago bobo4 just because want to try 4k video in VR, because try ps4 vr and ps display not 4k but picture was very cool realistic in games, and i though with 4k xzp display picture will be more better...but i can't normaly cinfigurate bobo4 and xzp to watch 4k videos youtube or other videos and other things like games, videos very ugly and i see pixels and other.... or may be because bobo4 it's piece of **** don't know, but I was very disappointed in VR and did not touch this bobo again.....

Hi guys anyone has received the Google mini speaker with his Nokia 7 plus? Was wondering how long it could take to be delivered
Took about 2 weeks for mine to be delivered.

True Wireless Earphones

So i enjoy listening to music. Not an Audiophile but i can tell what's good and what's not.
So ive had a Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 2nd Gen for 4 months now. Working good except for the music dropping because of Android 10. Other than that its a good set of earphone. And with its $250 price tag, its not a bad deal either.
Not a bad deal until recently my friend whom has an online shop started selling SoundPeats. At first i laughed real good when he said SoundPeats TruEngine 2 is good. And it costs $64. So yeah i laughed, he laughed and i bought it...
And when it first came, i was like look at this cheap packing and so on. Turned the SoundPeats on, paired it with my ROGPHONE 2 and wow... For $64 it's definitely a very good bargain.
And for $64 its darn comfortable.

I use Syllable S101's which appear to be the same drivers and same chipset. I used Soundpeats Truengine mark 1's which the syllable's were a little better - and better for battery life. (however, the Soundpeats mk 1's, iirc had a different chipset). For the price, you really can't go wrong!!! The only thing missing is the added ear curve thing that helps them stay in place.
I use 2nd gen airpods and they are great.
Hi,I just ordered Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 pro.
i use nillkin go tw004 earbuds and it has pretty sound only for 50 $
For the price range, I suggest the FIIL T1X for the sound quality, connection, and DTS compatibility.. It has low latency mode and connects quickly, this is considering that ROGII is a gaming phone... The sound stage complements with the DTS sound software as to which you can enable the wide settings for BT audio devices.. It definitely helps in pin pointing the location of enemies in COD Mobile..

Question Pro-I DAC

Just wondering if the Pro-i has the same DAC as the 1 III.
The 1 fits my needs perfeclty, but I don't mind spending more for the Pro even if it's overkill for me. I just want to make sure I'm not losing anything on the Pro that I would have on the 1.

im curious about this too. i want to say it must be since they (sony) shows on their web page details about hi res audio and with the purchase you get 3 months of tidal. i have the 1 iii and want the pro-i. mainly because i mostly use the main camera and having a f4 aperture and a larger sensor will be great for shooting outdoors. i also like the connector for the lanyard. i have to say the DAC on the 1iii is excellent.
Xperia Pro i checks all my boxes. Why doesn't every phone have a lanyard? And I would love the hi-res audio. The 3.5 jack, the micro storage card slot.... and I have always liked the Sony camera experience. The problem for me has always been that there is a major flaw with the Sony phones: most often the battery life. I want a phone I can keep for a long time, so the updates is also a big question for me. I see a lot of the Xperia 1 iii for sale on the XDA site.
Sony doesn't mean't it, i also have the xperia 1 iii, and while i will be collecting my pro-i on the 8th dec. so what does the pro-i come with from other countries, In hong kong we also get the free WF1000XM4 black in the ear headphones, and 1 year extra warrantry, also special price for the Vblop stick and LCD monitor and half price leather case.

as far as I can tell, here in the USA they only offer a discount on the accessories if you buy them at the same time. No freebies. I haven't even opened yet the earbuds I got with the purchase of the 1iii. lol
