Help to mirror any firmware you download

Hi Pablo, just a question, to flash another region firmware is it necessary to have the bootloader unlocked in order to do it?
Did you have success in flashing the XT1527 to your xt1524? I have an xt1527, with latin american firmware, but i want the TMObile firmware, still i tried with the bootloader :LOCKED and failed when trying to flash the recovery (preflash validation failed), so my question is if i need to unlock my bootloader first on order to flash another region firmware... i think i do, still im curious if you successfuly flashed your 1524. Greetings

I've only flashed the base band (modem) and I have the bootloader unlocked...

You should NOT flash a different model number firmware on your device. It's bound to cause issues.

Yes just flash the xt1527 firmware with fastboot, the same way you flashed the xt1524 one.

I try but nothing happen.

Thank you,I flash it but the issue is still the same - 2G
Can you tell me if i change the baseband version (i already use the NON-HLOS.bin file form this Stockrom XT1524_RETEUALL_MOTOE2(4G-LTE)_5.0.2_LXI22.50-13_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml) and start using European Based band version (the NON-HLOS.bin for Europe) is the phone will work properly in European Mobile Network.I also test it with Vodafon baseband setting but nothing happen - only EDGE is still alive.I think if i can flash the baseband modul to work with European Baseband Frequencies it`s will be very nice for me.
Now is use XT1527_SURNIA_RETUS_5.1_LPI23.29-18.9_cid9_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml with NON-HLOS.bin form XT1524_RETEUALL_MOTOE2(4G-LTE)_5.0.2_LXI22.50-13_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
The phone work great, but the network still EDGE.
Here in Europe the frequencies are HSDPA 900 / 2100 -(XT1524) for 3G
and LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 20(800) - (XT1524)
How can i set above frequencies to my XT1527? Is there any option to do this?:crying:
The bottom line:I have xt1527 (US 4G LTE) and i want to use it in Europe.
What i have to do?

Hey guys, owners of xt1524, could you help me and share QCN backup by QPST for your phone?

no puedo entrar a recovery porque me sale qe 1/1 supported api: 3

Flash different firmware for MetroPCS LG L70 MS323

Hi
I bought MetroPCS LG L70 MS323 unlocked. I am from india and i realised now that this doesnot support 2100hz UMTS frequency which is the one in india for 3G.:crying:
Please help whether i can flash different international firmware to make it work on 2100hz band
Thanks & regards
Bands are your hardware so you can't,download the lg firmware update tool to see if your firmware updates.

Hi i read that the phones are made for all markets. So the manufacturer would have just disabled this band for metro pcs
so i was thinking whether by flashing different firmware we can activate this band

I believe it has the 2100hz band. To check all the available bands on the phone do the following:
1. On the dialer, key in 3845#*323# to bring up the hidden menu.
2. Then select the following menus: WCDMA-Only > Modem Settings > Network Mode
3. You should see WCDMA 2100. From googling my understanding is UMTS is built on top of WCDMA. So technically you're good.
Now why 3G may not work in India - One possibility is you may not have the APN settings configured for the local operator.

Since the title of this thread refers to flashing firmware, I've a question: Can one flash the international (D320) firmware i.e. kdz file without any modification on the MS323 phone? Yes I'm aware about the boot loader being locked. But the goal here is to flash LG's own kdz as is - perhaps by tricking the LG Mobile Support Tool. There is a thread that talks in general about flashing any kdz. But it appears to be leveraging the older version of LG tool. Curious, if any one has tried using the newer version or has alternatives ideas if this can be done.
can we unlock the bootloader
hi thank u for the reply. itried the way u told. there is wcdma2100 available. but when i select this it says fail.
but for wcdma1900 it says pass.
i think since metro pcs doesnot operate on 2100hz this may be disabled in s/w.
tthat is reason i was asking bout flashing diff firmware
can we unlock the bootloader ??
thanks

Check out the Metro PCS LG 70 thread for the D320 firmware (FYI - It's not D320N but D320 may be of alternate interest). There is also another thread about flashing KDZ. If you're able to flash successfully, please do post your experience.

FYI - On a different thread (scroll to post #790), they have now posted instructions on how to unlock the boot loader. Perhaps one can now try to flash the d320 firmware.

The band may have been disabled via software. If that is the case, you may get lucky. But if the hardware itself is absent to begin with, then the flashing will not help. Unless one tries, one cannot conclusively tell one way or the other.

According to earlier comments#5, the MS323 hardware supports WCDMA 2100 band, but this band is blocked by software.
So, anyone can try this method to unlock 2100 bands.

Did you try enabling the WCDMA AWS Band under modem settings>WCDMA Only( to get this, please dial 3845#*323#)
Try this and see if if you can get 3G sinals in India...
dose any one fixed this problem??
I am also looking to see if the LG L70 can be flashed to a different baseband radio. I'd like to see if flashing the international firmware will not delete any data on my phone. I travel to Spain and woudl like the L70 to be on anything other than the 2G it defaults to. My L70 is BootLoader unlocked, carrier unlocked and rooted. Thanks.

Sorry to tell you I havent. Same say you can brick the Phone by installing another firmware others says that nothing will happen because the hardware is different meaning this Phone cant recieve the bands that is not suppose to. I dont know. I've read other sites seraching for a solution to this problem with no luck. I guess we have to wait till a custom rom that works.
The model you buy works best in the region it's bought in. Some networks will cross-over when in a different continent, but not all, usually. You can't add frequencies to the phone whenever you want, as far as I know.
I have installed a e2303 software on a e2306 phone and it works fine, but still has the e2306 bands.
Maybe in the future there is a way...

Need modem for otus xt1506 for India

Recently downgraded xt1506 from 7.1.1(cm14.1) to 5.0.1(stock) using fastboot. But no network.
I tried flashing modem [NON-HLOS.bin , fsg.mbn] of eu, br, la, glb but no use.
Unable to find modem [NON-HLOS.bin , fsg.mbn] that work in India.
Please suggest correct one to use or share correct files that work in India. Thanks in advance.

4G band firmware or hardware?

Hi
bought a p20 lite LX3 in USA, which it's not prepared for 4G bands here in Spain as per link and image information
https://www.kimovil.com/es/frequency-checker/ES/huawei-p20-lite
Does anybody know that if I apply a stock custom rom from LX1 model the 4G bands will work? or it's an issue that it's non solvable through firmware?
Thanks in advance

dont know if using stock custom rom will help, but, with my old p9 , wen i instaled android 8 china version, phone didnt connect to operator, only when i patched it with europe network patch, all bands worked as needed for me, but ofcorse, its european phone with china software, so i guess it is software related not hardware!

Question Do anyone try flash BC52 with BC72 firmware?

Anyone tried flash BC52 model with BC72 firmware? i would want to flash SEA firmware on my BC52 model, is it possible without root just use new flasher.
i wouldn't.but i basically been flashing diff from from hk,sea,,ru and china. their all the same but china is more light as in you can by default remap the assistant button and also data un-enrypt is friendly
当然,XQ-BC72 Dual 可以刷入 XQ-BC62 Dual 或 XQ-BC52 Dual,但我无法反过来测试。
Of course, XQ-BC72 Dual can either be flashed into XQ-BC62 Dual or XQ-BC52 Dual, but I can’t test the other way around.
Un-encrypt is the first thing good from china XD
