Changelog & Bugs
Changelogs here:
https://plus.google.com/+AOSPAL/posts
Known Issues:
4k Recording sometimes doesn't save; Use 1080p instead
D2TW doesn't stick after reboot

Release Notes: https://plus.google.com/106020481530876935386/posts/eHP5T4dbU1i
Note that ROM doesn't come with SU, so you'll need to flash SuperSU for root. Also, for future releases since backuptool isn't working yet, you'll need to flash all packages (ROM, GApps & SU) again when an update is released

Any issues with...
NFC?
Bluetooth?
GPS?
Is GSM working?
Thanks!!

Gsm, get prepared to see that asked 58 times. Thanks for rom for our ls990. Will check out a bit later.

Everything is OK but some issues.
Everything is nice and buttery, just some things I've noticed:
1. WiFi keeps disconnecting when connected to a 5 GHZ open network that requires you to sign in. Is there anyway to help fix that (is there a WiFi log or something?)
2. Data is a little wonky. It takes some time for it to connect to data and switch between LTE and 3G. Sprint Spark works though.
3. Bluetooth range lower than stock I noticed.
Thanks for your hard work. I been wanting to run PA ever since that PA post for kikat was halted.

WOOT
Thanks for this. Everything is buttery smooth, data does act wonky when going from LTE to 3g as stated. Also I tried to get ambient display to work and no combination of settings seems to work. All in all sweet rom. Thanks again

Nice! I love paranoid android! Have they incorporated hover/halo into lollipop yet?

Since Google introduced Heads up we're using that with a few improvements. Also, is HALO is dead and won't be coming back.

More new stuff for ls990. Huge huge thanks. Been very quiet on this device, always great and appreciated to see new people contributing. Thanks so much!

Didn't even see this till today, thanks for the hard work all

GSM?

Pretty smooth. I had only one issue which was data which was having trouble connecting at first but connected to wifi and when I disconnected it data was fine.

Can you please repost or check the link. It won't download.

Same here. I was just giving it a test run to see about the data. Early up for work tomorrow, so I didn't want to be up late setting up my phone, but it looks like a good one here. Very good to know!
Thanks to the team for building!

Should be the same as other AOSP roms

Can i edit this rom with working gsm and then post it?

New build up.
Changelog:
- Merge of android-5.1.1_r2 tag from AOSP
- Theme Engine support from CM-12.1 - Screenshot fixes (NPE and leaks)
- Cellular Networks migration (accessible through main settings now)
- MultiSIM support
- Mute notification sounds threshold
- ParanoidOTA revamp with Material update
- Status Bar’s Double Tap to Sleep
- Misc Bug Fixes
Backuptool is now working, so you don't have to flash SuperSU and GApps all the time. They should be backed up during flash. Lastly, the ParanoidOTA app is now included. You can download and flash ROM updates from there now.

[rom] [ktu84m] [4.4.3] aosp 2014.06.11

No fancy bells or whistles here. Just pure AOSP except for binaries added and also modified to prevent installation of stock recovery overwriting your current recovery. Rotation,Wifi, 3G/LTE, GSM, phone calls, everything works great. Let me know if you come across any issues. I will update this every few days. Build times aren't too bad, it only took me around 2 hours so I can't really complain.

Yes, it takes forever for GPS to lock on. A fix for this would make this ROM a daily driver.

I don't have sprint so it's kind of hard for me to test so if any of y'all Sprint guys could kindly report back and let me know what works, that'd be sweet!
No issues. Install went smooth, and all seems working with the 6-10 build.
I'm not really seeing any major difference between 4.4.2 and 4.4.3; I'm guessing most of it is "under the hood" (security and bugs).
Launcher3 gave me some initial fits, but it did under 4.4.2 as well. It works OK, but Google certainly isn't prioritizing it. Is Trebuchet any better?
Thank you for all of your hard work on this. And please keep it pure AOSP, with only bug and security fixes!
Yo quack, any chance you could post the md5's with your builds. I have a weird thing about not wanting to flash anything without checking first.
Anyway thanks for this. I'm one of those sprint guys, I'm gonna be flashing and getting back to you on that.

Flashing this now. It's nice to see AOSP roms coming out for the WiFi after nearly a year!
OK Shawn, I had a little trouble flashing with TWRP 2.6.3.3... It failed and gave me the lt03wifieu name problem. I had this same problem with the CyanogenMod 11 - Note 10.1 (2014) WiFi build. So I replaced the updater-script with the one Hitman 1376 posted here~~> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56566181&postcount=32 and it flashed successfully. However when I was going through the setup, I kept getting an error to re install Google plus. I had to delete it with root explorer because it wouldn't go away. Anyhow, everything is running smooth now. :good: excellent job!
Okay so I just flashed it. Few issues:
1) As the post above mentioned there is a constant notification of google+ failing to install, I had to disable the app.
2) I can't find the google play store lol..I don't think that was installed.
3) 5 Ghz Wifi doesn't work - any 5 Ghz networks are not detected.
Other than that, good rom! Hopefully these issues get worked out cause I would love stock Android on my tablet .
thanks for the bug report....just updated the changelog for v1.1... will uploadthe rom latter today

Dropbox dowbnload temporary disabled, too much trafic. Looks cool and i know that cm can be debloated. one question, does the spen detection is working correctly, i would love to make some apps for it and i dont like samsung roms.

Excellent. Loaded and running nicely after editing updater script. Is the updater edit part of the new room iteration?
I love it!!
@Shawn5162
Thanks for this rom. Before I flash, I have a few questions. Does S Pen work in portrait mode? In other AOSP roms it doesn't work, only in landscape moded. Does this have the 'sleep of death' issue like other aosp roms? Lastly, what apps did you remove from the rom? Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work :good:
Hey Shawn,
Thanks for updating so fast. It's even better now. Some updates after brief testing:
1) So as suspected, the Pen is broken in portrait mode like it is for the other CM rom out there - not a big deal for me since I don't use it much in portrait right now anyway. It would be nice if one of the devs figured out why that's happening.
2) The 5 Ghz wifi wasn't working for me still, but I believe it's due to the regions or something like that. I had a similar issue in another ROM I flashed last night and the dev found a fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56693315&postcount=157 - that worked for me.
That's after about 15 mins or so of using this ROM. I will be using it for a few days and let you know if I find anything else.
Thanks!

Look on the top of this page and you'll see how to fix all that
---------- Post added at 01:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:46 AM ----------
I updated to 7/10 yesterday
The camera force closes on me all the time...specially when using Instagram or focusing it on something too long...
But everything else is great
And to get GPS and SMS/MMS to work properly you have to fix it the way I said in my post on top of page 2...it works great...fix the APN first then fix the Sprint EHRPD internet AND Sprint LTE internet then do the *#*#4636#*#* thing and reboot and it should work
The "Global" option keeps disappointing from the list of preferred network types.
Sent from my SM-N910P using XDA Free mobile app
Do a fresh install and don't touch it because it'll go away again
D_Smuv_'s fix worked for me. GPS is getting a quick lock. It's weird though. GPS essentials and GPS status show 0/0 satellites but get locks.

Is it just going in and toggling the settings? I tried that but no go for me. Also could find the screen that shows in the screenshot above. It's been a long weekend.....

Thank you so much for the hard work and answering my previous questions. I'll definitely be flashing this and reporting back tomorrow. Question: if I'm on the latest cm12 build currently, can i just flash the new TWRP through Odin over the CWM recovery for the Sport? Or is it required to flash back to the stock firmware?

OK. Thank you very much for the quick replies. I'll flash tomorrow when I get back from school.
Been working great all day. Haven't hit any bugs and doze is really helping battery life! Thanks again @1991mustang50 for this and TWRP. Will say that TWRP is slow to take a stock backup (not as slow as the CWM we had prior), but it may be because TouchWiz is so heavy. Either way, thanks again. I know the guys that still use this phone daily really appreciate it and so do us that just use it as a toy now!
Good job @1991mustang50, it's a shame I had already given up on the phone and sold it

Any chance on making a build for the regular boost mobile one? The one on Mike's is giving me too many issues when it comes to bootloops

I sold it for $100 to a cousin. It was in a rough condition around the edges and had call quality issues
Having issues getting data or cell service - I can see sprint under network operators, but haven't been able to get the phone connected. Is anyone else having the same issue and/or found a workaround?
I've flashed TWRP and the ROM and I have to say that so far there have been very few issues. TWRP makes backups very quickly compared to the previous CWM. The ROM has calls, data, SMS, and MMS working perfectly. One minor issue is that if you go into settings and click on carrier settings it will not recognize the SIM card and it will continuously crash the phone application until you reboot. It's a minor issue with an easy fix so dont worry too much about it. I tested Bluetooth which isn't in very good shape. Listening to music from my phone on a wireless headset was constantly cutting out. However I understand it's a beta build and Bluetooth shouldn't be a very big problem for me as I can just use the headphone jack. This next problem I don't think is specifically tied to the ROM however I would like if anyone can give me any ideas for. Basically write access on the external SD is not working as usual but all of the previous fixes you could use aren't working anymore. Any ideas or fix for marshmallow? Overall, the ROM is in great condition for such a new release. Doze works beautifully and battery life is even better than the previous CM12.1 build. I'll be using the ROM more to see if I can tell you about any other issues I may encounter. Thanks so much for the great ROM and TWRP. I'll be looking forward to future builds.

Got that. Just asking a quick check, are you able to edit APN Preference? if so, check whether APN is available.
It would just my silly error, not including APN Lists

I'm on Verizon and the apn for Verizon is there it "acts,"like data works even shows Verizon as carrier, but does not connect,I tried also flashing with 9.0 gapps but pixel set up fails on start up with out flashing any gapps it does boot good,at this point it's not usable

If you don't mind me asking what vendor are you using. Because the ims.apk needed some work to get signal and data going.

I was using your vendor. With latest IMS commit. (595928f44e662cdd10234deec8dbfcb640e39052)
Yeah, Obviously you are correct. I just have no-way to know about telephony issue, so I wanted to retrieve all data from user if possible
Sometimes in my country(Republic of Korea) missing APN causes issue about connecting network(LTE though) OR MMS server.
Do you have that issue with your builds as well?
Had a build with camera working, ril okay, SMS and call flawless,no freeze, not reboot , LTE working fine. But I deleted it , waiting for an official stable version, and... Also it was just a test, I don't wanna upset the dev who built that, sorry?.
But anyways the commits where from Camcory.
Quite surprised you have these amount of bugs.
I just had pixel setup crashing and camera not working on WhatsApp (and when not working on WhatsApp, all the other apps won't use camera.)
Video playback just never worked. But sound work fine.
The ROM was personally very nice. I provided a list of bugs to the dev concerned, hope he's not upset , I just want help.
My advice is, you might try comparing with Camcory's commit or build from he's, if he allows.
Then test.
I wish you good luck. I'm just here to test?.

I'll test this one tonight and provide feedback.
I just need to know, will it work on my force encrypted phone?
Or I need to unencrypt it?

Yes, it's good, smooth, no reboots, camera working good, not working to me is mobile data and video playback is working only on browser.
Im testing a rom, where just about everything works, keep in mind, just as Oreo dropped Shamu, wasn't supposed to get anything past nougat, so stuff isn't going to work, what I'm running, 98% of everything is working....and just like Oreo gapps need to be included with the rom.....be patient people it's coming......
