just Install TWRP manager from Playstore, then install using it. Choose Galaxy Alpha from option.

It's only for JB (CM10/CM10.1) mate..
CM9 (or preferably ICS, stock) doesn't have status_bar_expanded_headers.xml in res/layout/... So, yeah...

you cant. octo core variant are not supported. there is little to no one working on the octo core at this time. you will have to stay stock
