[APP][4.4+]geXture ***Enable Screen Off Gestures Like OPPO*** - YU Yureka Themes and Apps

new version is available with stable version no bugs goto http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/themes-apps/app-gexture-enable-wakeup-gesture-link-t3226437

Amazing work brother, works like a charm, just a little problem, when I link the camera app with "C" gesture, it does open but it by-passes the pattern lock too so anyone can now open the pattern lock by drawing C while the screen is off, so could you do something so that if the user drew C , it opens camera and then if home key or back key was pressed, it would get back to the pattern lock screen?

Bro, can we use these gestures to open apps of our choice?
Or we can only use the mentioned apps with gestures.

now it is working very nice app.
suggestion : application should be in alphabetical order. :good:
bug: i dont know everybody is facing or not.
using gesture go to app.
now go to home and now you can not go to recent panel. to go to recent panel have to lock device and unlock it now you can go to recent panel

Does this work with andriod 5.1

what about stock os?
Is this app not installable in stock os that has been now updated to lollipop using official download(upgrade)?
What can be done for this situstion?

Great Work, very promising
This works very well. however i would like to note down some observations
1. I keep getting geXture started toast every now and then
2. You need to launch the application once every reboot. (in spite of allowing autostart at the beginning)
3. The app list should be alphabetical order as pointed out earlier by Ashish earlier.
4. Single tap and long on physical home button seems to stop working when this app is active. Double tap works..
5. Long press on menu does not work.
I am on stock CM12
Would this have an impact on the battery and if yes how significant?
and last but not the least the OP should make it clear that SELinux mode has to be permissive for this app to work. i uninstalled it once because i thought it was not working

Doesn't work
@gohel.vishal
I am a YUser,I have got CM12 & Thunderzap kernal installed! This tool is not working,it just takes me to the lock-screen after any gesture i.e. it only wakes yureka up.

Hi,
I am also on YU stock ROM and kernel but getting FC on invoking the gesture.

Great app however needs improvement
First of all I would like to appreciate the efforts behind this app.
Secondly I would like to point out a bug in this.
As it requires root, if gesture is supplied to a locked device with secure lockscreen enabled, it surpasses it to open the app or perform the task. And moreover few apps like swiftkey (keyboard) do not provide full functionality with such unlock.
Eg : -
1. Set some gesture to open Whatsapp.
2. Set a secure lockscreen.
3. Set Swiftkey as main keyboard. (Enable gesture typing)
4. Lock phone.
5. Provide whatsapp opening gesture.
Bug - You won't be able to use gesture typing unless you lock your phone, stay on lock screen, unlock your phone by providing unlock code. After then only gesture typing can be done.
I believe there is a counter set in apps like swiftkey that check whether lockscreen secure, then do not allow gesture as it may allow a user to identify the password (Which I believe could be the case and if so it is good).
Proposed Solution : I believe before unlocking and opening the app, you would need to take the user to secure lockscreen page and then only allow opening the app. As if someone else comes to know the gesture of any app it would become a security breach.
I am not an android developer, but I can help you with testing and some use cases.
Cheers !!

Little bugs
Swipe no working on SwiftKey after installing it... .
I think u have stopped working on this app....

I have given U credits for this app in my thread http://forums.yuplaygod.com/threads/rom-arm64-yureka-port-5-0-2-miui-v6-lollipop.20135/

Quick tip for rom users

If you cant stand that knock off is gone on your custom rom that you have happily flashed on your g2... ive noticed alot of people asking so here is a few solutions if you already dont have one! Got a better way? Suggest it! Will edit if necessary.
1. If you dont use google now from your home button swiping up... download the app in the link below!
{FOR CYANOGENMOD USERS} Your rom already comes with a toggle for this... accessible from SETTINGS>>INTERFACE>>QUICK LAUNCH SHORTCUTS... obviously slide up and set it as "Screen off" towards the bottom of the list.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock&hl=en <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you have that downloaded you can now swipe up like you would normally access google now... it will now give you the option to set a default for the screen off application, do it and now you can swipe up from anywhere on your device (Even the lockscreen) to turn off your screen without having to touch the buttons on the back! (Now i noticed when i was running an AOKP rom this didnt work every time as due to the fact every time it would shut off it would turn right back on... if thats the case for you try out option 2!
2. [YOU WILL NEED THE SAME APPLICATION AS IN OPTION 1] This is a simple bit, but your rom might not have this capability... if you go to your navbar settings you should be able to enable long press actions for buttons... select any button you'd like and set the long press for the application you have downloaded!
3. [YOU WILL NEED THE SAME APPLICATION AS IN OPTION 1] And lastly your third option... this should be if neither option 1 nor 2 work for your custom rom which they should... This one however is not easily accesible from any screen on your device only your home screen... first things first download that application above, now you download a launcher such as Apex launcher which i would reccomend because it allows this without paying for the full version and i tend to like apex alot better, from there go straight into your apex settings and go to behaviour... check out those gestures and set that application as your gesture! Nova launcher's is pretty self explanitory if you have prime. after that your good to go! Easy accesable screen off techniques you cant live without on the g2, hope this helps some of you!
I have another idea. Use GMD gesture control and use the edge of your screen to turn off the phone, or even double tap the nav bar (the app is ridiculously useful)
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Another option for CM Roms is to use the app below which gives you the option to Knock Off from anywhere on the entire home screen when using Apex or Nova and then have a double tap set or any other gesture you like up to execute this app.

thanks alot. due to that reason so many people dont want to jump custom rom as like me
GMD Gesture Control - > define 3 finger swipe down gesture anywhere to turn screen off. There you go, most comfortable solution.

Permission to add this?
My main reason for loving Knockon (and not jumping to any rom) is the wake up feature though. This is the first time that I have an android device where I don't rape the power button just to look at how pretty my lockscreen or launcher is.

I talked about the beta. Not the final version. The final version of 2.4.2 will be up on the Playstore after the release of many betas and after @oasisfeng tweaks them based on the feedback. The present stable version is 2.4.1.
Anyway, what is your problem in downloading what you want from the Playstore?
Now 2.4.2 final version is available in Playstore. You can download it from there.
Hi,
fist- I use non-rooted mode, second - I use Nova Prime launcher under Gesture swipe up I added Hibernation + lock screen.
After last update Hibernation + lockscreen don't work when I swipe up. Before I works flawlessly.
Not with even shortcut button on home screen. It starts working after I just use Hibernation shortcut button or hibernate apps in Greenify. Then It works some time and then again stop working.
any solution?

[MOD][XPOSED] Niwatori - One Handed Mode

**** THIS PROJECT IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED ****
Niwatori changes the display position of apps. The target device is a smartphone that has about 5-inch display because the purpose is one-handed operation.
Thanks to rovo89, I can use this on Lollipop!
Niwatori provides three one-handed modes:
- Movable Screen
- Slide Down
- Small Screen.
They work temporary, NOT permanent.
**
Niwatori was my local version of Flying Android. I released Niwatori since Xposed framework supports Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Differences:
- Abolished FA Toggle, pin, flying dialog and notification shortcut features.
- Control the window only from shortcuts.
- Move the status bar and the dialogs in the same way as the apps.
**
Compatibility
NIWATORI CONFLICTS WITH OTHER MULTIWINDOW AND ONE-HANDED SYSTEM.
I test on Nexus 4 with Stock ROM. Niwatori should work on Nexus devices running Stock. And I support CyanogenMod if Niwatori works with small special code for CM.
Usage
Create shortcut for one-handed mode by Niwatori on sub-launcher , such as Pie control.
[MY USAGE 1] Navigation Bar and Gravity Box
Use shortcuts:
Movable Screen
Pin
[MY USAGE 2] LMT Launcher's Pie
Use shortcuts:
Small Screen
Swap Left/Right
Expand notifications with extra action (Small Screen)

Translation
Volunteers are welcome to translate text (strings) to your language.
Download strings and edit two files:
- strings.xml
- strings_activity_settings.xml
And send them to me Note that text encoding of android is UTF-8.
If possible, place them in your language folder. ('values-ja' for Japanese, 'values-ru' for Russian, etc.)
Troubleshooting
Turn on "Log Actions" in niwatori's settings and call a shortcut for one-handed mode. Then Xposed framework logs as follow.
Code:
04-21 08:25:47.553 24125-24125/? I/Xposed﹕ jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori.intent.action.SMALL_SCREEN
04-21 08:25:47.556 24125-24125/? I/Xposed﹕ NFW(ModActivity$20#onReceive): jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori consumed: jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori.intent.action.SMALL_SCREEN
The first line is shortcut (action) name, above case is Small Screen, and the second line logged who consumed the action by package name, above is niwatori settings. If the consumer isn't expected package, add the package into blacklist in niwatori settings.
Well

Good Job!
It seems to be the first module which has updated to adapt for new Xposed on Lollipop!
But i'm new to FlyingAndroid/Niwatori. My Device has no virtual navigation buttons and can't call the app as you shown on Youtube. is it now possible to call the app and scale the screen out by setting some kind of triggers???
Thanks in advance!

I got it, finnaly. You can add a gesture to every setting. But I see no use to it fi I can't put 2 window in the same screen.
@GalaxyS4_Lollipop;
 @Demonbane_x;
Trigger for Niwatori is shortcut. The "shortcut" is the same as ordinary shortcuts of any apps. So you can fire "shortcut" from home app, launcher app, GravityBox's action (works on lollipop?) , etc.
This mod moves the display position of foreground app, but not show multiple apps. In the screenshots, I only show one app (Niwatori UI) and expanded statusbar.
This module not working on MIUI 6.

I like the idea of making floating apps, but if you can't put two apps in one window , I don't know for what to use it.
You are a good developer , I hope you will make an app like XHaloFloatingWindow for lollipop in future.
doesn't fly the window
I associate the "toggle" NFW action with a gesture via GMD Gesture Control. When I execute the gesture, it doesn't fly the window. Instead, it opens the Niwatori settings app.
I should add that most of the time it does nothing at all. I know I'm executing the gesture correctly because I get the correct haptic feedback. I'm using the paid app.
Seems promising, gonna try it out
Amazing app!
One problem I saw that came up was that I was no longer able to perform the second pull-down of the notification bar from the middle of the screen; instead, I now have to reach my thumb upwards far more.
I think the module changes the trigger area. Can you check this out? It would make life easier!
And by second pull-down, I mean the method to get from notifications to toggles (bt, wifi, etc.)

XHaloFloatingWindow is one of the best modules. I cannot make such app.
But I cannot use halo window efficiently because my phone doesn't have enough display size for multi window. On the other hand, I don't reach thumb at the top of the screen. I need to pull down the screen.

Please check these points:
If you fire the "toggle" action from the other launcher (e.g. home app), does the "toggle" work fine?
Close Niwatori settings app before you use its actions.
If you need a refund, please tell me your order number by email or private message on XDA.
EDITED: I tried GMD Gesture Control, however it says "no supported device". (because of lollipop?)

Right, GMD currently doesn't work on Lollipop.
I tried closing Niwatori settings before using its actions, but it still doesn't work.
I put the NFW actions widget on my home screen (selecting "toggle"), but when I press the widget, nothing happens.
Thanks, but I won't bother with the refund: I'm glad to throw you the support, and I'll keep re-testing the app every time you update. I hope you can try some things to make it work on my S4.

@Jimmy34742;
Thank you for your cooperation.
I found a fatal error in the settings. Depending on the combination of settings, it is not possible to change the window mode and move the app.
Please disable "Reset automatically" option basically. It is useful only when to fire actions from recents button.

I have "reset automatically" switched off, but it still doesn't work. If I don't back out of Niwatori's before going to another app, then the shortcut will re-enter Niwator at the same point. But if I exit Niwatori by backing out of it, then my shortcut just does nothing.

You're mistaken on both points! It does work quite well, and it has been updated for lollipop. I've been using it since lollipop Xposed was released (even before it was 'officially' supported, it worked on version 2.38... It's now been updated to version 2.41)
I would ask to add double-click on a recent. In CM12 like as long press is already taken - switch between the last two applications.
The ability to run the application down to the user is in the Donut version?

I said that logic does not suit me. A developer does not do anything to add / edit functions.

[MOD][Xposed][4.0.3+] SwipeUpToSleep

Background
I am using HTC-E8. The power button is on the top of device which is difficult to turn screen off by using its power button. So I write this mod to let me turn of screen by just swipe up from home button
Function
This mod allow you swipe up from home button to turn off your screen.
Since swipe up from home button normally will trigger Google Now. This mod default will disable this gesture for trigger Google Now. However, you can have an option to enable Google Now by long press the home button.
Notes:
1. You must reboot your device to make your preference take effect.
2. I only test it on my HTC-E8 device with HTC Sense 6.0
Changes History:
2015-04-27 v0.83
1. Fix package name issues while download from Xposed repository
2. Add a function to completely disable "Google Now"
3. Add function on turning the threshold for triggering "Google Now"
Contributors
looklookson
Xposed Package Name: looklookson.swipeuptosleep
Great work!!
Will test this module for sure~
If Dev can consider on including this swipe up gesture to run other actions or shortcuts will be even more fantastic!
Thanks for the great module!
It works but the threshold is too short, very easy to accidentally tutn off screen. Therrs no swiping up animation like woth google now but i just press on the home button a little longer than usual then the screen turns off. Please implement the now-like popup and ability to adjust threshold
"Package name is incorrect" on Xposed repository (aka can't download from xposed app)
I would also like to see the ability to change the threshold before screen turns off, and adding some kind of visual, whether it's Google's own one or a custom one, would be nice.
For me it works by swiping up on the home, menu, app drawer and back buttons on my LG G3. I like it that way since it's easier to toggle the screen off.
Nice module I believe the same thing can be achieved with greenify which lets you default "hibernate and lock" to the swipe up shortcut. You don't need xposed for that.

Well I dislike that greenify always locks the phone and I only want my screen turned off. With greenify it always prompts me to enter my unlock pattern and ignores Googles smart lock and for this is an annoyance.
But with this module it works like a charm.

It disables only Googles smart lock but not the app smart unlock ^^
Can this be done by swiping up the 'Recents' button instead of Home button?? *Idea!

Are you sure? Just tested it and smart lock does still work.
Great! It's always good to have more options.

Yes, at least on paranoid android rom, I have an unlock pattern and trusted faces enabled and it always asks for the pattern when I use the greenify hibernate and screen lock function

Okay well, you can't really complain to the dev here if your using a custom ROM.

I don't complain about the module, which works perfectly, it was about greenify and it's similar function.
Is this possible using hardware navigation keys? I guess it's not, since it just replaces the Google now shortcut..

Good stuff! Although swipe [down] to sleep & swipe up to wake, just make more sense to me as swipe gestures.

Question Hide the gboard keyboard's down arrow

Sorry all if queastion was before (can't find answer and I'm really pissed off)...is it possible to remove this arrow under the keyboard on pixel 6 (pic in attach)?! I had pixel 6 pro few days ago (returned because fingerprint sensor didn't work) and I'm shure that I didn't had arrow there (gestures used too, all same as here). Tried to find option to turn off everywhere but no success...hope that this is not feature from todays jan update?!
You can't remove that arrow, it's used to hide and un-hide the keyboard.

That's not a new feature. Has always been there. If rooted you can remove with a mod that removes navbar, gesture pill, etc..
It is different if using two button or three button navigation.
I use the three button navigation and the back arrow key in the navigation changes to a down arrow key.
Pixel's implementation of down arrow on the navbar (or at least the padding below) is actually better than not having anything (like Xiaomi did on MIUI). The OS cannot recognize smartly if you meant a swiping up gesture or just simply pressing the space button, hence this placement.

I know mate, but I'm using swipe last 3 years, can't go back on old commands...and this way I have more screen space to look at.

3. Keyboard & input method
4. keyboard location
5. Select hide

I am using gensture navigation in lineageOS 19, and I also meet this problem that my phone have a very wide bottom bar when I input something. My phone have a small screen so that I have a bad experience when I input, but I couldn't find related setting in my phone setting. However I have rooted so could you give me this module? Thank you very much!
