Hi Tommy, thanks, im using your module with gpe, working fine as it should be.

With that mod I solved yellow tint problem, now screen on my 6833 looks as white as on 6802,which I sold.

Thank you for this trick
this solved my doubt
just updated the module ( you can find changelog here below my signature
its a simple flash file
just flash from recovery and this will work ( everything in one file )
Download click below attachment

I will translate vovanx500 instructions. It's pretty simple. Of course you should be rooted, I have locked bootloader and root at 14.5.A.0.270.270 firmware on C6833. It also work on GPE ROM too.
1. Update xzdualrecovery to the latest version. I was using 2.8.21.
2. Find file XZDR.prop somewhere on your device after installation/updating of xzdualrecovery. XZDualRecovery folder on SD Card.
2.1. Edit (or add) one string in this file: "dr.initd.active=true".
3. Goto system/etc and make folder named "init.d", set permissions 755 (-rwxr-xr-x) to this folder.
4. Find file install-recovery.sh under system/etc and set permissions 644 (-rw-r--r--) to this file.
4. Download Kcal.zip from first post in this topic.
5.1. Unpack two files from it. Put file "40kcal" into previous created folder init.d, and set permission 755 (-rwxr-xr-x) to this file.
5.2. Put file "mdss_mdp_kcal_ctrl.ko" into /system/lib/modules and set permissions 644 (-rw-r--r--) to this file.
5. Download savoca software Color Control and install it. You may want to convert this app to system using Titanium or some similar software, I didn't.
6. Reboot phone, start software from p. 5 and configure. You're set.

Something like that for Xperia z kit kat?

No news, about 5.1.1 support? ;((

I've checked the updater-script for errors using Android Kitchen, i got 6 errors. I am able to fix 2 of them. But can you post any shots/pictures so i can see it?
Edit: I think it is because i got no /system/usr/bin folder in the ROM.
Edit 2: i created a folder named 'bin' in /system/usr. It may fix during the flash. Now i am uploading it.
EDIT 3: The link is up at the OP

Yes, you can install it on top of it. But i recommend you to install on other ROM slot. Like e4f said, it got a bootloop.
EDIT 1: I'm so sorry man!!, i forgot to put the stock kernel when building the ROM. i think thats the cause of the bootloop.
EDIT 2: The new release will uploaded with the kernel. Now the link is up.

[MOD] V500d Splitwindow and Custom App Selection Mods

This is currently only for Stock G-pad's running the current US firmware V50020d (not aosp or V50020b). US only at this time. OP will be updated if other firmwares become functional. These mods will enable full splitwindow support to your G-pad and allow you to selectively choose what apps are displayed in the splitwindow "menu". Also, please note that this is a collection of other users work combined together for the ultimate Mod!! I did not create anything here, I just put the pieces together and tested if it all worked (which it does 100%).
Prerequisites:
-You must be on firmware version V50020d
-You must be rooted
-You must have a custom recovery
-Root and recovery can be achieved using ioroot 25 and @id10terror's recovery script both located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698267 . Please note that you must open the runme.bat script and manually change the firmware version from V50020b to V50020d in order for the recovery script to work. Then flash an updated TWRP from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2551499
-Please keep questions about root and recovery out of this thread!!
Step 1: Get Splitwindow Working
-Download and flash the V500d splitwindow mod from @hensonlf located at the bottom of this post
-Boot device and using your preferred file manager add these 2 lines to the bottom of your build.prop:
ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true
-Save and reboot device
-Please read his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-pad-83/themes-apps/split-window-g-pad-t2796066 for more detailed information, and don't forget to thank him for converting @xdabbeb's mod to our device
-You are now running splitwindow on your tablet, but wait whats this mess?......every single app I have installed appears in the splitwindow menu in a random order!! Unacceptable!! Or if you want all apps to appear there, you can stop here.
Step 2: Enable Individual App Selection
-First we must disable all installed apps from appearing in splitwindow menu. Using your preferred file manager open your build.prop and change one line we added in step one here:
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true
to:
persist.splitwindow.support_all=false
-Save and reboot device - now your running the default LG value for splitwindow
-Download and install @XabdullahX's G-Flex splitwindow mod apk from his thread here (I am not providing the download, as he has a free and donate version - the donate version alphabetizes your apps): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707310
-Open app and grant it root permission
-When root is given, a list of all applications will be shown. Select the desired apps you want to appear in the menu when activated
-Click Apply
-Click Reboot to save (if you don't reboot from within the app, the settings will NOT stick - use the option he has provided)
-Done!! Enjoy your custom splitwindow without any crap you don't want shown
Big shout out to all these members for their work - be sure to thank them:
@Drgravy for TWRP
@autoprime for ioroot
@id10terror for root links and TWRP script
@xdabbeb for creating the splitwindow mod method for the G2
@hensonlf for porting the splitwindow mod to our device
@XabdullahX for his G-flex splitwindow apk mod

Dam, I thought the UK may work, as they are nearly identical. Op updated for US only. The author was going to make some other varient versions of the initial mod script. Check in on his thread for more info about that.
In the future, always have a nandroid ready to restore so you don't have to fully reflash...

Working flawlessly on N910F XXU1BOC5.
Will it work on n910t?
On which version are those files based. BOD2?
Let me guess. To do this, my Rom has to be deodexed right? Because I have a N910F and both apps won't work. They kept crashing after flashing and boot up

I flashed the zips manually like said in the OP, and had the apps crashing when I loaded back up. I'm on the stock rom which is still ODEX-ed, but after deleting the ODEX files it all seems to be working well.
Now I can finally lower the DPI from the ridiculously large default without messing up the apps!
Camera tested on N910C LP
Only issue for me (density at 480)
is the mode selection where the text is ontop of the icon and some are black (should be white text color)
else good work man!!!

This kernel should work, also zombie will work.
Btw zombie kernel has best dt2w implementation so far,but it need to be inabled by writing init.d script.
Should I unlock the bootloader to use this ROM?
Oh yeah, I was thinking of asking the same thing if this one is for locked or unlocked device.

Thanks for that, advance features like dt2w and ckal control aren't working though but I think those need custom kernel so that's a no go for locked device like mine. Flashlight on quick settings isn't working. Sound enhancement is fantastic, I thought I forgot viper4android for a while. Will test more on this.

DT2W is kernel related, and implemented a bit differently, so it can be either enabled in kernel or not. Switch won't make difference.
Flashlight also won't work, as we don't have it.
Rom was made for z3, which have a physical flash.
In order to make kcal working you need to enable init.d
To do so, you need to go to your external SD card and locate XZDualRecovery folder.
There you fill find a XZDR.prop file.
Enable init.d by setting this line:
dr.initd.active=true
And reboot your phone.

Ok, thanks for that. Btw stock camera default at 20mp for 4:3 ratio and 16mp for 16:9, changing it to 8mp causes fc, no big deal as it's ported from Z3.

Just stick to 20 and 16, I think it's worth it...you have some additional settings.

You can just flash Xposed uninstaller, no need to reflash rom.
Gravity is more for aosp, use Serajr module.
With root.
You can try to unroot with SuperSu, in the settings.
Then either try to install it from market,or flash the super su zip.
Did you wipe system before installing?
As I don't have root problem.

To be honest it had a bit of panick an hour before leaving for work. Cos the rom went in loop and it wont let me boot into recovery. So I had to use flashtool to hotboot dual recovery and reflash (all just by activating gravitybox in xposed). But now sorted.

Yeah, no luck in the root dept. ES FILE EXPLORER and ROOT EXPLORER don't have root...I enable root access as Enable Root pop-up appears but nothing happens....I redownloaded rom like 3 times, thinking maybe a bad d/l....cleaned flashed like 5 times still no dice....have no idea why...can't delete system apps or make any modifications...
