[Q] Notification LED on AOSP vs. LG Rom - Sprint LG G3

Hey all!
So, here's the deal. I've noticed that on the LG "skinned" ROMs (meaning non-aosp, i don't know what lg calls their android skin, i'm coming from samsung which called it Touchwiz) - I've noticed the notification LED is barely noticeable when sitting on a table... yet on AOSP roms, it seems to be brighter and stands out much more. I like AOSP, but it is too buggy at current to use for a daily driver - does anyone know how to apply AOSP led settings to the "LG TouchWiz" ROMs? Hope this makes sense haha... thanks

White CM9

Hi! Can anyone make CM9 white? Design of anroid is very good now. Minimal. But too dark for me.
I know that themes are turned off now, but...
It is dark because most modern smart phones have OLED screens that use considerably less power when displaying black than any other colour. The phone screen is the largest user of power.
If you want a light colored CM9, use MIUI
Cheers!

I agree. MIUI will provide a much lighter base them with additional theme options. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1383721 this ROM has been great for me.

You can flash CM9 Reloaded on top of your CM9 ROM and it opens up a lot of options including the ability to theme (color wise anyway)

Also am attaching screenshots of how while would look for you. I'm on Photon CM9.
Yeah cm9 reloaded is great, allows you to theme the status bar and dropdown completely to your specification. The base rom itself remains unchanged, but aside from MIUI there's really not much theming options yet.
I think that blue-black hue cool ah!

[Q] AOSP ROMs etc..

I had a few questions about AOSP ROMs and such. Firstly, I know what an AOSP ROM is, don't get me wrong, but one thing I didn't know is if an AOSP ROM for the S4 came with the features the phone is supposed to have like smart scroll, air gestures etc. Do they, or is there one that does? My second question was, if AOSP ROMs do not include these features is there a way to theme the phone to look like AOSP or a ROM (other than Eclipse) that looks like AOSP but has the features of the phone? I really like the AOSP look, but I want the features the phone is supposed to have. Also, the reason I don't want to run Eclipse is because I've tried it and loved it, however, the clock with the owner information for the lock screen doesn't work (at least for me, the owner info doesn't show up) and I really want the owner info there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
By its v very definition, those features are not part of AOSP roms. They ate proprietary to Samsung's TouchWiz overlay.

ROM with these 2 features?

Hello,
I'm looking for a ROM which has this 2 features:
Vibration multiplier (Vibration Strenght)
Side Peel (When you drag from the corner while on fullscreen, to show the statusbar)
The ROMs I know that have these features are Liquidsmooth and MIUI, but Liquidsmooth hasn't been updated in a while and it has a couple of issues. And MIUI has weird behaviours (Sometimes sluggish, low RAM, kills apps)
Do you guys know another rom which has these features?
I THINK(!) Carbon ROM might have both these features, or atleast side peel, but really not sure, its been a while since i had carbon... but you can try, its good ROM anyway

[Q] Any Nexus-like ROM?

Hey,
I am wondering, is there any Nexus-like ROMs for our device? I am not talking about CM/CAF/AOSP based comparisons.
Every custom ROM I have tried so far have their own "customizations" or "addings". Some offer to change the DPI, some enable sound mods, many let you pick which wound you want to adjust from the top volume panel, again many let you set display things, most come with extra apps like creator team's own file manager, almost all of them let you have themes etc...
What I am asking; is there any way to make this device be what if Google would made it be as per the "user" aspect. It doesn't matter if it is based on CAF or has some closed sourse elements to make camera work. Just looking for a ROM that is as simple as a Nexus on the user experience side (no extra features or extra tabs on the settings menu) and also stable enough to be a daily driver (doesn't have to compete with stock's camera or music performance, or doesn't have to be awesomly calibrated like other custom ROMs).
Today I have tried AOSP from FXPblog but apperiently it is there to show us that Sony cares and to be a base for software developers, rather than being a daily driver. Because it did not even have camera (don't know if there is a way to add it).
So basically, is there a ROM that I will be feeling like I am using a Nexus device (of course I'll add GApps myself) instead of a custom ROM on a Z2 when using, withour caring what's or how it is running on the background?
Thanks
Nope, the closest you get would be AOSPA it is CM based and has some additions but its the most closest working Rom avaliable for Z2 as far as i know

Is there a way to use stock android settings app in other ROMs? (LG, Samsung, etc)

Hey guys,
I'm using an LG stock based ROM on my LG G5 due to issues with AOSP based ROMs for this phone. I've managed to get a more or less completely stock AOSP appearance including the quick settings tiles and notifications. However, the last thing i'd love to be able to do is to install an AOSP style settings app. It doesn't need to necessarily replace the default settings app but it'd be cool if I could install something like this side by side..
I've googled this and can't find anything really but I figured i'd be better to ask the experts here

Settings app is tied very closely with the system framework, so it's pretty much impossible to replace it with anything that isn't relevant to the current ROM.
