Unlocked Vodafone Galaxy S6 EDGE LTE Bands - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am able to buy a Vodafone Galaxy S6 Edge Green (activated and sim unlocked) from Germany. I believe the model number should be SM-G925FZGFVD2 but the online store gives this model number: 00301111 and EAN: 8806086935906
http://www.sotel.de/samsung-galaxy-...rün-ohne-simlock-ohne-vertrag--p-269642.html
There is also an unbranded model which is out of stock: SM-G925FZGEDBT
I know that SM-G925FZGEDBT supports all the LTE bands we have in Hong KOng.
In Hong Kong the LTE bands supported are 900mhz, 1800mhz and 2600mhz
However, Vodafone ( SM-G925FZGFVD2 / EAN: 8806086935906) supports 1800mhz.
My question is if the phone is unlocked and can be used in any country will the phone work in 2600mhz also along with 1800mhz when I use in Hong Kong?
Just wondering if the Vodafone Galaxy S6 Edge is unlocked then it should support the same bands as the unbranded model in Germany right?
This is the first time I will be buying an unlocked phone from overseas so I have no prior experience. Can anyone shed some light or experience in this matter?
Thanks.

SGS2 ATT usuable in Germany with o2?

Hey Guys,
I am situated in Germany and in my opinion, the ATT Versions of the S2 is the most beautiful one. My carrier ist o2.
Is it possible to buy a S2 ATT via the US Ebay and use the phone without any restrictions in Germany?
I guess I need to root it first, then unlock it and then I am good to go? Are these thins easily and safely to achieve? Is it that simple? What about the network, is the american version compatible with the german network? Can I use hsdpa?
Any other restrictions?
Thank you in advance.
the usual problems with US phones in europe... no 3g, but if your only there short term, it may be worth picking up, otherwise just get the euro version with the correct bands.
also i havent checked but there may be a quad band umts unlocked
AT&T version only has tri-band (850/1900/2100) HSPA+ radio. So if your carrier O2 uses 900 band for 3G service, your phone will only work in 2G mode.
International version of GS2 has quad-band HSPA+ and it works everywhere.

unexpected Response from network

I have just purchased a Gear s, which looks like it was purchased from the USA (T-mobile) & I am using it in the UK. It has been unlocked but when I put in the sim I do not get any single & within the call settings it displays unexpected response from network.
Any Ideas what could be wrong?
Thanks
Gear S is a dual-band phone only. So North America models won't work in rest of the world and vice versa. You are SOL.

Can you suggest where I might find out if my Australasian purchased Gear S + S4 will work in the UK?
Both devices bought outright (though so was my iPhone but the carrier still locked it into their service as soon as I put their sim card in)
To ask the question another way - if say travelling back to the uk (and assuming my devices are compatible with their networks ) - would I be better off prepurchasing a still quite expensive international package from the Australian bandits - or would an international package from Amaysim Lebara etc work with one their sims in the gear s and another in the galaxy device?
my provider is now offering slightly less extortionate international deals but as you say it depends on whether the GS is compatible with the other country's network.
I'd be happy to do that tap tap tap thing and just use the Gear S as a phone back in the uk
thanks
You need check Samsung for the specific frequency bands any of these specific local variants support. For Australia, it has networks use 850Mhz (which is one of the bands North America uses), 900 and 1800 (both are commonly used in rest of the world). So, I'm not sure what bands an Australian version supports.
Gear S for North America supports only 850MHz and 1900 MHz.
Gear S for rest of the world supports only 900Mhz and 1800 MHz.
Australia and Brazil have more complex frequency usage. So I don't have any idea. Japan is WCDMA 2100 only. So Japanese version contains no cell radio.
Thanks
I will get it exchanged
Best model for Western Australian users hoping to use it abroad
Gear S for North America supports only 850MHz and 1900 MHz.
Gear S for rest of the world supports only 900Mhz and 1800 MHz.

The somewhat-difficult-to-navigate Samsung Aus store is currently showing 2 different models
Telstra (900/2100) ----- GSM 900 DCS 1800 ---- 3G UMTS B1 (2100) B8 (900)
Optus Vodafone Virgin (850/2100) ----GSM 850 DCS 1800 ---- 3G UMTS B1 (2100) B5 (850)
Th Gear S still doesn't appear on the Telstra website ....(though it's their PAYG simcard in my watch)
but Optus is already offering the watch with a shared data plan
I bought mine from a 3rd party electronics reseller "**** Smith" but the Gear S has since disappeared from their store - go figure!
Thanks again for the ongoing education on battery considerations, pairing solutions, different types of network frequencies, and all your other helpful contributions
I'm not posting the details above in the hope of more free specific advice but more to share my experiences with other less techie users and potential users - plus writing it down helps my own understanding

Will S9 plus work in pakistan

Will galaxy s9 plus snapdragon variant work in pakistan means that will it support all pakistani mobile network (ufone, telenor, mobilink, zong etc.) Will s9 plus snapdragon variant support pakistani mobile network frequencies and LTE bands?
Yes it will work don't worry.
In Pakistan there are only 3 different frequency used for 3g n 4g.
1800mhz 2100mhz 850mhz
Mostly Snapdragon version supports all bands but carrier may restrict VOLTE....to mobiles with their CSC... S9plus other than Snapdragon might got multi CSC which loads own country CSC, when start using from reset with that country sim..
Also if you use Snapdragon 965U1, even though samsung pay works, you gotta need to forget about rewards as they are mostly restricted for USA..
Ofcourse I m unable to VOLTE in India as I m restricted to XAA CSC

S10 Lite & SIM Band frequencies in Japan

Hello, I have a fairly difficult technicaly question regarding the Samsung S10 Lite. I recently purchased the S10 Lite (SM-G770U1 )and I am currently residing in Japan. To my surprise, I have learned that almost all carriers do not support the model that I have (listed above).
I have managed to find one carrier that I think might support the phone, but I am unsure whether the Frequency bands of my model are the ones listed by the carrier.
The bands that are supported in Japan are the 3G Band 1 (2100MHz) or 4G Band 1 (2100MHz) frequency.
Please let me know if these are supported by SM-G770U1 Model. Thank you so much in advance!
Name of the Japanese Carrier with the SIM information (thought it is very limited)
