[RECOVERY] Carliv Touch Recovery v2.7 for Alcatel One Touch Pop C3 4033A/X/D/E - Alcatel Pop C3 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

*/
This is Carliv Touch Recovery ported to Alcatel One Touch Pop C3.
Features
It is a CWM based recovery and is compatible with it. In this version I used Napstar-xda's full touch module as base. The navigation it is posible by touching the menu item. In long display menu (as choose zip from sdcard) for scroll page down Swipe Right and for scroll page up Swipe Left. For Go Back also Swipe Left.
If the Swipe doesn't work (usually if your phone is multitouch but has only 2 points of touch), use bottom virtual navigation keys or volume buttons Down for Scroll down, Up for Scroll up, and the back button for Go Back.
Changelog
Version 2.7 update (11-dec-2014):
- rebuilt from base (cwm 6.0.3.7) and add improvements on top.
- reintegrated bottom virtual navigation keys, to compensate the non-function of swipe in some phones
- better compressed backups integration - pigz support from cm-11
- new "nvram backup/restore" menu functionality: the nvram partition will be backed up in clockworkmod/backup/.nvram/nvram-xxxxx folder as nvram.img. This will help if you lose IMEI and other communication features. It will work only if you have the nvram partition defined in recovery.fstab. If the nvram partition is damaged (as in flashing an oversized recovery) this will not help you, and you need SPFlashTools to reflash with format your phone official firmware, and after that flash this recovery, boot in recovery and restore nvram.
- the recovery has now an increased stability, many issues are solved
- the content of the backup folder will contain only what an usual clockworkmod backup contain, and that will make it easy to restore backups made with older versions.
- new GUI images, very light (the difference between non-touch modded cwm and this one is only 14 Kb, for 720x1280 resolution)
- some other changes.

I ported CTR V2.7 myself for the 4032A but i'm going to try this on my 4032A which has similar specs to the 4033X.

Will this work for the OT-4030A?

Sure, but I think 4033E is dual sim? Correct me if I'm wrong. You may not get both sims working with some 4033A ROM.

Yeah pretty much, if the ROM is already bugless when ported to the 4033A then when you port (properly) to the 4033E it should be bugless. Which AICP is that? 10 or 9?

The AOSParadox Project 1.0
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is an AOSP ROM very close to vanilla. We just modified a little bit CAF to make it work on Motorola Moto G. This is absoluteky not CM (only 24 commits are taken from the CyanogenMod Sources, 15 beeing applied on the build/ directory mostly to do a nice flashable ZIP)
What should I be aware of ?
This ROM isn't CM at all. Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so customs kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...). Remember this is a AOSP stock android build so if you want root you need to flash the Super{User/SU} of your choice. Also, There is no gapps backup script so they need to be reflashed with each update.
What doesn't work ?
Code:
Camera, GPS.
What's plan ?
Actually, we plan on doing many things. The ROM is right now very fast but we want to make a lot of optimizations. We also will add a few features to improve your ROM Experience.

Sources
device/motorola/falcon : The device tree was initialy based on CyanogenMod device trees. It then has been modifyed a lot to fit CAF : ramdisk, packages, overlay, GPS, bluetooth, sepolicy, configs files, props ... most of it has been redone or deleted. The pieces left from the old CyanogenMod sources have the "CyanogenMod Copyright" header (liblight/releasetool). All changes are detailled here
vendor/motorola : We use our own proprietary files. The list is common with CM ones (mostly) but it's gonna change with time. However, they are directly imported from stock build.
kernel/ : This repository is (as the "forked from" button suggest it) based on CyanogenMod kernel. More particulary to the F-AOSP Kernel. However it has extra 20 commits
to make it work on AOSParadox (detailled commit list here )
vendor/aosparadox : This repository is based on F-AOSP's one. It provides our Boot Annimation and the APN files are updated from CM.
Here is the detailled list of every CM commits used in this ROM :

Yes it is the same source with little modifications. I needed to remove all lineage related make files and replace it with aosp variations. I would create a github branch and push the sources.

This is plain AOSP with extended features like theme support and customizations. I understand we already have custom ROMs like Viper, crDroid and so on for our device. It is just that the build was lying in my system without much use. I thought if I publish it might be useful for someone. But it seems there are network signal drop problems, users are facing using this ROM. Unfortunately it works for me without any problem. I have two 4G sim cards. One is Jio VoLTE (SIM1) and another one is airtel 4G (SIM2). With these 2 in device, I don't see any issue with network or data. Moreover it is the same device code that is being used for LOS7. Looks like there is something different in LOS7 regarding telephony (RIL) due to which we are not facing this issue with it.
As the issue of network drop is not reproducible for me, If someone who is facing the issue, could give me a logcat of radio, it would give me some inputs.
The command is,
adb logcat -b radio > ~/signal_drop.txt
Thanks

Okay, now this is epic.
Great rom
great job! gonna try it out now.
Wow. Thought it would never get a PixelExperience ROM.
I use PixelExperience ROM (Pie) with my Galaxy S4 and it works well... Let's see if this ROM is gonna work.
things i have noticed so far:
- kernel is not enforcing message
- cannot disable the navigation bar
-> cannot use the home button to get to the lock screen. have to use the power button to turn the screen on.
- touches feel a bit laggy
- enabling "always on" by ambient display does nothing
otherwise pretty solid. it boots pretty fast and is smooth. thank you so much!
Hello, after installation on the G920F, the calibration of the screen is broken - a mirror image of the left and right side. Installation after full cleaning. I tried twice and always the same. Strange, I've never had such a problem with another Rom. I had to install stock rom and use code - * # 2663 # to fix it. Has anyone else had the same?

That's a common issue, it happens when you flash an edge ROM on flat, did you flash the included kernel?
How can I flash this kernel g920fboot.img ? In TWRP I can`t see it
---------- Post added at 11:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:26 AM ----------
ok I found this "install image" - select partition to flash image: Boot, and then I see - Size of image is larger than target device - where is the problem??

The OP pretty much tells most of the different things. There are screenshots too, so you better check the first post before asking

Is it only me?
Great work though ?
Looking forward ?
When I install to boot I cannot boot into the system anymore because it always boots to recovery. When I try install to ramdisk I get a size error. Please tell me how to install this so I don't need to use fastboot to get into recovery.

This is because you have to entirely replace the boot of either a a/b slot, or the recovery partition in order to install this on a phone. This renders that boot slot as only this recovery. If you want to maintain system and have recovery, wait till the devs /maintainers figure out how to get it to fit into the ram disk instead of taking the whole boot disk.

You might be better off using TWRP Themes.
Hi
Is it possible to make one for moto x4?
Also will I be able to have lineage OS as a custom ROM and this as a recovery?
Thanks

Best you ask if the Moto x4 forums. You do not want someone to do a build without actually owning the device to test it. Trust me...
Is there any way to shrink the size of this recovery? I'm having trouble with TWRP.
Update: I just repartitioned my Pixel XL. Anyways, I hope we get a newer build for this.
