There is indeed a section for Android App development using Java, which can be found here! I would also recommend checking out the other sections of the app development forum which can be found here. Let me know if you still have any questions I'll be happy to help you out!

Not yet but its a work in progress
It will, it is under development. But as all newcomers in the android world, please note that
1: don't ask developers when they can finish their work
2: post in the correct section. Questions in the general section.

Contributing to development forums?

How do I gain the ability to reply to threads in the development section? I have a fair bit of knowledge and I would like to help with the CM10 development. I'm running the ROM now but I have no way of posting bugs or fixes and workarounds that I have found.

Best tutorial for learning android developing android apps?

hey!
I want to become a android app developer, but I don't know where to start.
I watched this courses of java of udacity :
1. Android Development for Beginners
2. Java Programming Basics
is it enough? or I should learn more Java?
I started to read this tutorial "developer-android-com/training/index-html" but in this site is some codes that i don't understand.
I don't know what to do anymore, is there anyone that could help me?
