Decided to create a thread for the stock xperia z3 boot animation (as I couldn't find another 1) for anyone that forgets to back up the original or just wants stock back.

Install Instructions
1. Download the .zip file from the link above
2. Rename it to 'bootanimation.zip'
3. On your phone, go to /system/media folder
4. Move stock bootanimation to /system
5. Rewrite permissions to rw-r-r
6. Replace the downloaded 'bootanimation.zip' with the original in /system/media folder

Ok now that I wouldn't know... Call me stupid if you like lol I just took the stock boot animation from my z3 and uploaded it.. Thought it could be useful for some.. All I could tell you is that it was from a z3 running KK 4.4.4

I posted it in the 'cross-development themes and apps' but I'll move it if its a problem.. The title is very well described to avoid any confusion to the device, it's where I've posted all my other boot animations..

No problem if you post it in this place, but its useless since this are is for all xperia device not only z3 try to move it to z3 general area it will be useful for all z3 user

Have tried it, there is a problem with home.apk
My shorcut icon from aplication that installed on my SD card is missing after reboot phone. :crying:
And when I change home.apk from stock ROM, shotcut aplication is not missing...

The software allows users to separately adjust white balance, colour saturation and hue. Given the criticisms in some quarters over the Xperia Z display, it is surprising that Sony didn’t include the software, although we may see it appear in an upcoming update.
Thankfully the apk has been ported over from the Xperia ZL if you don’t want to wait. Your Xperia Z will need to be rooted for the calibration app to work, as you need to set the right permissions. Instructions to get this working can be found

Alternative method ( thx @gm007 )
1. Download the zip file in the 1st post of this thread.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Inside the White Balance.zip\system\app folder, there is a whitebalance.apk file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\app folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Inside the White Balance.zip\system\lib folder, there is a libdisplayservice.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Inside the White Balance.zipe\system\lib\hw folder, there is a libdisplay.default.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib\hw folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
6. Reboot.
7. Go to Settings -> Display and you should be able to see the White Balance setting.

Flash Via CWM
installing via cwm not work ..
it say installed done, but when i looked in system/lib and system/app the files not there ..
so i'll do it push manual,
Cwm is for newer phones.
It's trying to mount ext4 partition.
Install manually.

You'd better place bootanimation.zip in data/local (still with good permissions)!
Your bootanimation will not disappear after a rom update (except data wipped).
If you want default bootanimation, simply delete "bootanimation.zip" from data/local and reboot.
I created other colors based on original for my SP.. If you want them for mdpi, tell me...

Here are the steps- (follow them thoroughly!)

4) Flash zip
5) Choose ur preferences in AROMA and install
6) Wipe cache and Dalvik (important!!)

Welcome Buddy, those themes are themes for aroma installer, it didn't even matter what theme u use in aroma, these themes are not for rom of you want xperia themes, u shall check out the my xperia themes thread where i have 10 themes the thread is in the themes Section only

it's okay to delete some system apps.. just backup the particular app.. so if anything goes wrong.. just move to system/app with Permissions rw-r-r

Yes you can delete then by using root browser or system app uninstaller for play store
