New to cooking.
I have resurrected a tablet to the point where everything works but WIFI. I have a nand BU of the original. How do I modify the current settings and insert the BU wifi component into the system? Also where iare the wifi details in the BU?

same problem here.i'm turning wifi on it is trying to get the ip address and it is failing.onyone else have the same problem?
I reinstall the system and hopefully never did any similar stupid

My legend's WIFI didn't work suddenly....
I haven't do any wrong on it, when I turn the wifi on, it indicated it was turned on but it search no network......
I have re-flashed the rom and it was not slove.......

Hi, can you indicate what ROM you're using?
on b 0.8.4 there is a patch needed for some phones. (just look in second post of the thread.
If you changed your ROM: do a wipe and cache clear (Backup before!)

I am using CM7, it works fine before, and I haven't update until I get this problem. So I update the rom from nightly to stable one. But the problem still exist
What can I do to fix it??

Me and a few others had the same problem - try rebooting your router.
finally fixed, I wipe all the data and cache, then re-flash the CM7.

maybe it should have been enough only to delete and re-establish the WIFI connection. I had the same issue when I added a another WiFI connection. After deleting all my connection points via the CM settings there was no problem anymore.
So, just if it happens again

i have a threat sbout wifi issues on my legend cm7. But im trying to resolve. i didn´t know about that tip on cm settings.
yesterday i connect to a network, todsy i didn´t see again. but i did clean install... but really it isn´t working 100% my wifi.
I like cm7, gps is good now, but wifi is buged.
Edit: where is the option to delete wifi connections?
Settings - Wireless and network - Wi-Fi Settings - Long press on SSID name and select "Forget network"
Then get in range and reconfigure your wi-fi connection.
maybe also changing the range of wifi channels may help (settings/networks/wifi-settings - then menü button - advanced/ domain) of course only with active wifi working.

So, I'm using Nessy Custom ROM on my P500. It's great, low battery drain, but I always had a problem: cannot send files using bluetooth. Any type!
I receive files normaly, and pair with others phones too, but cant send nothin! There are no error message, just a endless screen "sending"...
I tried Bluetooth files transfer, but keep fails.
Anyone can help me?

maybe you have restored bluetooth settings / anything related to bluetooth with titanium backup? DONT.
before you flash a new ROM, remember not to restore anything about bluetooth using titanium, especially when you are upgrading android version.
it will disable your bluetooth!
wipe everything and flash the custom rom again dont even restore bluetooth file manager mate
Use Bluetooth File Transfer App from the market.
use bluetooth file transfer.. that's normal. even on not rooted stock rom.

Hi
1. Takes the pair with recipient device first
2. Then use Bluetooth File Transfer
3. In this app add this device to favorites
4. tap on it and wait while the all is green
5. transfer the files
Work 100%
Hey guys, today i installed the MROM (GB - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836674) in my atrix and everything is running pretty well except for my data network. I've deleted and created the APN several times, and when i do it the Icon on top bar show with 3G, then change to 4G and disapear with no connection. Anyone know how to fix this?? The procedures i used to install the rom are those in the post of the owner of the rom(Wipe Factory -> Dalvik -> install zip from sd card).
PS: Messages and Calls are working normally.

Is it only with MROM? Are you running any battery saving apps that could potentially interfere with APN settings?
Now this problem is with all roms now, and im not using anykind of applications like this.
Hi everyone,
I deleted the wpa_supplicant from system/bin by accident. Is there anything I can do to restore it back? I've also did a Factory Reset but this only wiped my data. I cannot access internet now because it only uses Wi-Fi to do so. I hope someone can help me out. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
The device is running on Android 4.0.4 ICS.

EDIT: I just bought a new USB cable and I can transfer files now from my PC to my Android device. I tried downloading a lot of wpa_supplicants for the device but they all didn't work.
