Once again may be a redundant question but I haven't seen it asked and I swore I seen this camera port available by the dev... who made this possible for the note 4 and nexus 6 made it for the s5 too?
Does anyone know if there is HTC camera port for the s5? Or S6 camera port or even m8?
And where I could find it .
Or do we only have the hx camera mod from back in 2014"

I as wondering about the S3 camera vs the galaxy note.
I know the S3 camera has more features, mainly because of touchwiz 5.
What I would like to know is if the hardware of the S3 camera is better than the one of the note. Mainly the sensor and lens.
If both the S3 and note run a ROM like CM9, would the S3 camera deliver better image quality?

yes its better... luckily for you i personally tested it today, bright colors + decent pictures in dark than note

Doubt it. That's the galaxy camera's biggest selling point. The camera. There's no way they'd bring it to the Note 2.
The new galaxy s4 has it so hopefully someone can port it over when that gets released

no, the Galaxy S4 doesnt bring it. so still need to be ported from the galaxy camera. i have acces to one. if some one tells me what to exactly extract besides the .apk i'll do it.
or i dont know if there is a ROM on the web
The Galaxy S4 camera is similar, BUT nit the same.
It brings a lot of new features though, and according to Samsung, they will include "most of the S4 non-hardware related features" to the upcoming 4.2.2 update.
This might bring the updated camera interface, just as seen on the S4 promo videos.
Hopefully this update is released soon.
If we get it before the next Google I/O, it will be a miracle

You're kind, but I dont think anyone would actually step up to do it.
There are loads of Galaxy camera roms available and the APK files can be extracted, but they will not work.
The Galaxy camera has completely different sensor/camera hardware.
To make the APK's work on S3/ Note2, camera drivers should be switched and that means hell of a lot coding/testing...
I dont think any dev would be up for this at the moment....

Just had a Nexus 10, but one thing I really do not like at all, coming from a Galaxy S2 and Note, is the 4.2.1 camera app. I think the Samsung camera app is so much better.
Is there any way of using the camera app from say the Galaxy Tab 10 to run on the Nexus 10?
If so, does anyone have a download link?

It needs the full touchwiz framework i think. Maybe when note 10.1 comes with android 4.2.1 i will try to port it to our devices but before samsung will update note 10.1 it is already april or something

I did find a S4 camera from Alliance ROM but before I try it, I wanted to know if there is a better option.
I'm real skeptical that the S4 camera will work for me on my current ROM.

You should probably edit your title and put [REQ] in front of it, because your title now implies it's in this thread.
I will say I want this mod too, but I doubt it's gonna happen. Too many differences. It would be a hack and slash probably with not many features and mostly a different interface.

Hi everyone, I really like the stock camera app in A8 as it has many features like live photo,etc. and I am sure that many other Nexus users will like it as the stock camera in Nexus 5x and 6P has limited features.It would be great if someone can port it to nexus 5x device.Also if its already available or a similar app is out there i would be thankful if someone could give me link of it.Thanks in advance.[emoji1]
