I have Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, it shows fake IMEI number as in the screenshot below :

The IMEI number is written under the battery. also i have EFS Backup
I've read & tried man videos & articles & apps & tools & stuff but nothing brings the IMEI back again :\
please help me & suggest what i can do... is there a command to enter it manually ?
the Wifi & network & everything work but i want to enter the IMEI :\
please download my EFS ,in the attachments >>>
I'M I SUPPOSED TO SEE THE IMEI NUMBER WRITTEN SOMEWHERE IN THIS BACKUP AS A TEXT ? & DOES THIS BACKUP MADE PROPERLY ? DO YOUR ONES HAS THE SAME SIZE & FILES INSIDES IT ?

No problem might be worth posting on the second one as it has the same IMEI number your one changed to with that picture.

According to the other thread that is at the top of the suggestions when creating a new thread, they have swapped it so you use the home button instead of the menu button. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824883

Ahhh... I see whats going on now.
If I write it in two words like you, I get the same suggestions, but when writing it in one word, like "servicemenu" I only get my own thread.
But anyway, thanks for the tip. Initially I didn't even now that it made suggestions, so I still learned something

I recently upgraded my x10 to Achotjan_Froyo_2.2.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009220) and noticed that the messaging dictionary only suggests contact names instead of dictionary words, do i need to change a setting on the device to use dictionary?? I checked my input and its set to ANDROID KEYBOARD i have show suggestions, Quick fixes and Show suggestions turned on,

hello everybody.
Here is the story, a friend of mine tried to install a custom rom on its brand new galaxy s3 and messed all things up. He came to me and we installed back an original rom, but we got this:

for what I understand, he isn't able to make the modem work, and the camera maybe. He told me he have done "something" to the efs partition, so I thought he messed up that. But esf files are all there and it seems the phone still have a valid imei (353*********151).
We were unable to recover it so we restored everything, resetted the counter, and bring it to assistance for warranty. They told us that there is a crack in the main board and they have to change it
They also said that there is a problem with the screen and it has to be changed. But it seems fine to us!
They also told us that those operations are not covered by warranty, and we have to pay 270 euros!!
Now we are looking for an alternative solution. It sound strange to me that is a hardware problem, because it happened when my friend started to play with the OS. Any suggestion? anything we can try before changing the mainboard?
any help will be appreciated!!

You have an S3, and an international one none the less... double fail.
Try Factory reset & Wipe Catch..
Definitly not the firmware problem..
I'm also on XXUFME7 and i can use both those features perfectly...
