IN MY LAST DARK MOD THERE WAS SOME TEXT COLOUR PROBLEM AND I WAS UNABLE TO FIX IT SO CREATED THIS MOD IN THIS U WILL NOT GET BLACK COLOR HEADUP, POPUP OR DIALOGS JUST SETTINGS AND STATUS BAR WILL BE BLACK.

If you are trying to change system files I'm assuming you are rooted...
I've heard that Android UOT kitchen can do this though I've never used it myself but there is a forum for modding roms on this site. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=613
I myself have used an app called ROM Toolbox pro( I forget the price ). It allows you to change many things like signal color and style, battery style, etc. It's selection of mods differs from rom to rom, as does it's effectiveness but for me it works most of the time(on an Inspire with many different roms and a Flipside with cm7). It also comes with many other great tools. If your quick enough you can try to apply a mod, restart your device, and if it doesn't work get a refund.(I think its a fifteen min window) Of coarse make a nandroid

Buddy for battery percentage use modaco toolkit.
So sorry i cant explore problem because i dont own this device any more.

that is because samsung has put touchwiz over our phone which does not allow status bar changes
however there are some mods by akshay sharma that help u replace that with a statusbar which is customizable
check out his work in the themes and apps section
that will help you to customize the status bar

Anyone know a way I can Import the "cylinder transition effect" from the Huawei Ascend Mate 1 and use it on the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 ??
I'd also like to know how to change the white notifications BG color. Gravitybox has an option to change the shade but not the background of the notifications themselves.

I've tried disabling xposed, using the built in theme app to change the theme, etc. The themes don't change the notification backgrounds I've also what was mentioned in this thead:

but the older version of xposed + asop notification theme for emui + sony xperia flip mod = unfortunately systemui has stopped so that didn't work at all. Updating xposed back to the latest version didn't resolve the issue either. I'll be on the lookout though. Do let me know if you find anything thanks!

IT WORKS!!! Seriously though thank you @arampapaz! I could not find that fix out anywhere and this xblast tools module you mentioned does the trick!
Now I can read my notifications easier without Huawei's silly choice of a background color of grey text on a white background...

I am glad it worked out for you. I took it a step further and disabled the stock quick settings, and I am using notification toggles from the play store. I hated the stock quick settings. It looks much cleaner now.
What's it called in xblast. I'm downloading it now

Touch Home Screen than go to themes and then edit theme you are using.
You can change status Bar, Fonts, Icons, Wallpaper Lock Screen Wallpaper, Control Buttons , Ringtone, Boot Animation etc.

i know about the vol. down + pwr button combo. but, can anyone tell me:
1. how to get/add a screenshot tile in quick settings tile layout of cm-11.0?
2. app that lets action to be assigned to gestures or navbar buttons to take screenshot?
for e.g.: on my earlier device, i'd installed nova launcher and gravitybox xposed module. i was using 'double-tap back button' to take screenshots. or, if there's an easier way of taking screenshots, please post about it. thanks.

Search on playstore as cm11 theme or cm12 theme. There are lots of them. Some are paid and some are free. Famous are Flux and Merzee. I particularly like Hexagon for cm12.
