This is benzoCore. It is the kernel that I use in my ROM but I've had a lot of requests
to add it as a standalone kernel so I am. It uses hellsCore as a base so that's where I
got the name. Originally I changed the name so it didn't reflect bad on hC if there
were any problems, but the name stuck. So here it is.
Features:
Built with SaberMod GCC 7.0
Graphite, OpenMP and a lot of other optimizations
Wi-Fi Calling Support (if your ROM has it)
Over/Under clocked
TCP Congestion Control
Kexec-Hardboot patched
Full f2fs support
All of zen's f2fs patches
Voltage controls
Faux Sound
Wakeup Gestures
KCal
USB Fastcharge
Frandom support
CPU Boost
Thermal Controls
Init.d support
Simple GPU
Adreno-idler
intellithermal
UKSM
Permissive SELinux
More stuff as well
Hotplugs:
blu_plug
Bricked Hotplug
Intelli Plug
Mako Hotplug
MSM Hotplug
Zen desicion
Governors:
barry_allen
blu_active
despair
intelliactive
impulse
elementalX
interactive
ondemand
conservative
performance
hellsactive
smartmax
yankactive
zzmove
I/O Schedulers:
bfq
noop
deadline
cfq
fiops
zen
This uses the anykernel script so hopefully it should work with most ROMS.
If you don't mind getting updates for my ROM, subscribe to my Pushbullet channel in my sig and I'll send updates.

Hey could you shed a little light on the blu governor

What tweak tool do you recommend? Ukm/synapse? Kernel auditor? Trickster?
I only ask because they don't always support everything in a kernel.

That's what I'm talking about.... Thanks for this...

I've also used Kernel Auditor for the kernels that didn't have there own supporting app... It does the job and has more options than most.

@xanaxdroid
Will you add support for android M?

Awesome. People gonna love this man! I'm already running Benzo so won't need this, but very nice of you to let everyone enjoy this snappiness and battery life regardless what ROM they use :good:

will this kernel support zram script?
This kernel is one of fasted and most stable kernel I've found. The only problem is that maximum speed of cpu available is 1300mhz. I'm using cm10 kang with tablet interface - another great choice for nexus 7.
With 1300mhz cpu it gives me 17fps in Egypt benchmark which is great compared to 14fps with standard cm10 kernel.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
[EDIT]
Additionally, according to stats, 1300MHz is never used regardless of max setting.
Flashed the kernel four days ago, and I'm impressed with its speed and stability. No SOD or popping sounds, all good. Unfortunatly cifs doesnt seem to work for me. Could anyone using cifs manager comment on this? Thanks a bunch...
Cm10.. everything works fine except wifi, cant connect to my router
Anyone experienced problems with wifi ?
Solutions please?

[KERNEL][v500][5.x] RedKernel [12/07]

This kernel is based on 5.0.x CM12 source so it's compatible with almost all AOSP Based roms.
FEATURES:
4.4.2 base
Anykernel script with loki support by @aicjofs and @ckret
Bumped with livebump script by @Skin1980
Built with Linaro Cortex-A15 4.9 UBER TC
Userspace voltage control by @faux123
Dynamic FSYNC by @faux123
FauxSound by @faux123
hotplug: msm_mpdecision by @show-p1984 (default) and mako_hotplug by @franciscofranco
Intellithermal by @faux123
Default ondemand governor with optimizations by @stratosk
Conservative governor with optimizations by @franciscofranco
Intelliactive governor by @faux123
This kernel works better with 4.4.2 base, if you have problems with brightness you need to use 4.4.2 base files from this thread.
I recommend Synapse + UKM to change the kernel settings.

This is my score with antutu. The highest score I have had before this was about 22000. So this is really great! I know that benchmarks doesn't prove how good a kernel really works. But it still show how it performs.

You should be able to just flash the new kernel as they both use any kernel zip. I did and it's working great
This kernel is excellent. Fast, fluid and plenty of options to tweak with Synapse.
Thanks for your hard work OP.

What he said.. Great kernel! Thanks!
The brightness is stronger ?
Have found a reboot is necessary to stabilize the brightness control. Other than that all is better than any I've tested. See nothing bad.
Great job!
@Rick Roll
I have tested your kernel and all i can say is "A work very well done"
So i need permissions to use it on Slim builds if possible.
Kudos once more for your work.

Whats the HID Patch?
Can low bit ambient mode be disabled via the kernel? I'm dying for that feature, and disabling it via the build.prop doesn't work anymore.
Very exciting to see some kernel dev for 6.0.1 already!

It allows your device to act as a keyboard so you can send commands to a computer via usb, when I installed kali nethunter on my phone I found out I could do that so I applied the patch to the watch so it can do that too (with the right app/script of course )
Woo hoo! we are getting variety on this watch
delete!!!!
does this need busybox and root? or can I just tethered boot TWRP and flash?
@noahvt I just got this up and running and i the watch already feels snappier!
any settings you recommend changing in kernel audiutor?

Hmmm that's definitely interesting, I'll take a look at it!
Sooo, how do I flash it ?? I'm sorry, haven't been reading on carefully but I can't find root or recovery for the zenwaych 2
I flashed it using a tethered boot of TWRP. I'm not sure if it can be flashed via fastboot
Root is needed if you want to use kernel auditor with it. There is a SuperSU 2.6x wear version. I found it in the lg g watch forums in a zip that includes kernel auditor and busybox all in the same package

OK, SuperSU is installed, there's just not an interface. Now that I think about it, I had to adb sideload the kernel auditor wear version. Hold on and I'll link you

Yes, using Kernel Auditor. Anyway i don't know how can this impact battery life. Currently testing dual core!
Edit: seems like the option in kernel auditor it's not sticking after a reboot..
Can this feature be added?

Had to reinstall supersu after the kernel flash because i lost root. I was on 2.65 which patches the boot image i believe.
I reflashed supersu 2.65 and all was good.
Installed no problem and didn't lose root. Everything runs fine.
For now is very fast and stable. but i like to use kernel for 2 o 3 days to tase de perfomance. in less than 24h u can test for real.
not heather. test battery with data on. BT, wifi,WIFISHARE WORKING CORRECT.
So far so good, have had a couple of reboots. Overall it's been pretty smooth and fast though. Trying to find the perfect settings for my device.
I'm on Tapatalk, could you put link to download tab?

27 is the idle frequency when device is in deep sleep. Under working conditions device frequency cant be set at 27
@malbert16442
You will implement the governor simple_emand on GPU?
Do you have any prediction?
Thanks dude.

That was my very first post on X.D.A...so I might of got carried away (obviously. ..since I was ignored). What I want to know is should I stay on Maverick 4.5 and flash the "All other Roms" kernel or install the latest Pure Rom (6.5?) And flash the other kernel? Sorry if I didn't phrase it right before. Thanks in advance.
