[Q] Android 4.2.1 not Saving on Micro SD Card - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, after hours of looking, and trying and researching, I have to ask for help.
I have a ROOTED Android 4.2.1 SONY Xperia SX (SO-05D).
I want to make all my installed apps, and future apps to be installed in the Micro SD Card I Installed (32GB).
In the root drive, there's a folder called: "ext_card" I tried moving things there manually and nothing.
I also tried manually in /sdcard/external_sd and nothing still.
I have tried the following apps:
App Manager
Force2SD
App Shifter
Folder Mounter
Link2SD
And nothing!
The only thing that's actually saving in the Micro SD are the Pictures I take, in the DCIM folder.
Can anybody help me please.
I do not want to save anything in the "internal storage", and also most of the apps only allow to move to the "SD" part of the internal phone memory, nothing is actually being moved or being installed in the Micro SD Card.
Please help!!!!!

[Q] External Memory Problems, Please Help!

Hi, so I recently bought a MICRO SD card (16gb) for my Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7652.
I inserted it in the phone. When I go to the storage in the settings, it shows that there is 14.83gb available even though it is empty I haven't put anything inside. But this is not the major problem.
The problem is that the card is USELESS. I mean whatever I do, I cannot get applications in the SD card. They always install in the internal memory where there is no space left and the game is like 1.5gb which is more than the internal memory I am given. I tried moving the applications to the SD card folders in ''my files'' but nothing hapenned.
I searched the internet and found out that I had to change my internet browser settings and so did I. I put the memory card as deafult. I downloaded Directory Bind and App to SD and still i cannot transfer applications from internal to external memory, or just download directly in the memory card. The memory card is working correctly, i just dont know how to place apps in there.
In my settings--> storage, when i go to an application and tap on it, i can see the SD card under storage, but there is no ''MOVE TO SD CARD'' in any application. I have tried with the App to SD and the Directory Bind programs but i still get Root Access FAIL. My phone operater is 4.0 ice cream sandwich (i think that is how it's called)
I have tried everything. So my question is:
Can I fix this and transfer applications from internal to external memory? Or download the apps directly on the SD card?
Or i just wasted 20EURO and the card is useless.
Please Help.
Thanks.

M8 Installing Apps to Both Internal and External Storage

Hi everyone,
I'm running stock Sense 6.0 (4.4.2).
Whenever I download an app from the Play Store, it downloads it twice, both in storage/emulated/0/android and in storage/ext_sd/android. I want to keep my external sd card for music, so I don't want apps taking up space on it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the updates to the Play Store, digging around in my settings, and deleting the /android directory from my external SD card, but nothing works. Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks!
They aren't actually installing on your SD card. They are just creating a folder there should you choose to move their data to SD card in settings. Don't worry, the folders won't take up any space.

[Q] Move to SD doesn't move files to SD card (Lollipop)

After flashing official lollipop I tried out the newly introduced Move to SD feature with Oddworld Stranger. And even though it says the 1,12GB is on the SD card, actualy no files were moved, all game is still on the internal memory. I tried it then with other apps too, and it is the same for all, none of them are moved to my SD card, although it shows that in App information. Does anybody has the same experience?

goclever insignia 700 pro apps2SD help

Hi
I bought this tablet and to my suprise, I wasn't able to move installed apps to my SD card.
After searching, I found that this is Android KitKat problem?!
Most pages suggested to root to be able to install apps on SD card and so I did. But I'm still not able to install or move apps to my SD card.
Do I have to have my SD card in some special formating or is this impossible task for this tablet?
I tried using AppMgr III to move apps to my SD card, but i get this error: "The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated. Moving app to SD function cannot be supported by this device."
Any help is appreciated

Emulated SD card I'd like to remove

I was attempting to root my Alcatel 9007t tablet, so I could move apps to my SD card, unsuccessfully.
So I ended up following some instructions and ended up emulating an SD card on my internal, or something or the other
It renamed my actual SD card to something else
So now, I have rooted my phone, I believe, but using link2sd card I can now move my apps, but I get an error on a certain few apps.
I can't link the data, or what have you, to the SD card, and I think its because of this emulated SD storage
Regardless, I would like to remove the emulated SD storage, and rename my SD card to something normal.
Getting to root this thing was difficult, so I would not want to start this whole thing over.
Or if I could get link2sd to link my data to my SD card , that would be excellent.
I am moderate noob so pls hlp
Footnote: no I cannot link to SD thru my storage settings, maybe is there somehow I can do that. I just want to link or move app data to SD card. This is from a downloaded apk that is making kit difficult. The app seemed to install to SD card, but the data is on the emulated SD on the internal
Halp
You will have issues as apps are not made to be on the sdcard and some apps even block the option.
