Could somebody verify if the Xperia S - Stock SG-Generic - 6.0.A.3.73 {1257-6921} is the same as the one on the XDA server?
It says Stock SG-Generic - 6.0.A.3.73 {1257-8080}
After flashing, the info on my phone says also 1257-8080.
I root my Xperia and it went wrong. My phone wouldn't start/off.
Someone have the root+firmware for me?

I guess my file was removed from the server by admin for whatever reason (I don't know ). Try another region firmware or ask someone to upload.
Check this thread if someone has posted a mirror.

Procedure
1. Use 'flashtool' to flash the update FTF file
2, Device will bootup.
3. Within your device, navigate to settings/backup & reset
4. Select 'Factory data reset' (increases stability)

what do you mean customized?did you customized the rom already?
No I haven't touched anything, this is how it was labeled when I downloaded it.
Other than that it looks like a regular Sony ROM, my Z Ultra is running it now.

You can, and there seems to be no ill effects other than the wrong model no. showing up, but what's the point? the .118 was only released for the c6833 on vodaphone and a few other networks so I guess that is is only very small for LTE on those networks (I think the OTA was only 20mb?)

GPE stands for Google Play Edition. Its a cleaner, unbloated system. No carrier apps, no brand apps. & so on. Its more or less the AOSP version of Android. (Android Open Source Project)
