You could try kingoroot, google it, I used it to root my Kazam Thunder Q4.5 which is MTK6582 also, worth a try.

Well, until you unlock the bootloader of Lenovo a6600 plus, those apps couldn't root your device. But its bootloader cannot be unlocked easily as Lenovo a6600 plus has problems with its MediaTek chipset. So, that means unfortunately Lenovo a6600 plus cannot be rooted.
If you want a rooted phone, unfortunately you have to buy a Sony or Xiaomi device as unlocking bootloader or rooting can be performed in their devices with ease.
