Hey guys I have a problem with my Xperia Z2. When I'm watching videos from youtube,facebook or etc. , after a while I got some errors. For example I'm watching videos from youtube and after I got this error " Error loading. Tap to retry'" and after this error I cant play any videos, my local videos too. I face "video cannot played" error my local videos. And just when i restart my phone videos are playing. Whats the problem this device? I tried firmware update and it's still same.
It seems to be a bug related to facebook
I dont think there is a fix aside rebooting your device.

Same for me but I even does't have facebook installed, browser videos (html) and Youtube doesn't work, only a restart helps :/
I have it too.. Even you can't record videos with camera.. After restart everything works like a charm.
having the exact same problem, i think this is because of 5.0.2
I think that's not the problem.. I had 5.0.2 for a while... Like 2 months, but this started to happen yesterday
It looks like general problem.. So have we any solution except restarting?

Hey guys
I seem to have a weird problem with my XS. After a fresh boot, I can play 4-5 videos and after the 5th video I am unable to play any video. All video players show the same message "Sorry this video cannot be played". :crying:
And when I reboot I'm able to play all the videos, but again after playing 5 videos or so the same message.
Please help !!!
This is happening after installing the latest ICS update .45 Also I installed the sound mod by r-ikfoot, the latest one. Could it be because of that ?

Looks like a bug to me.
hey, videos that you recorded, videos loaded on the phone or online videos? though i can't remember i have played exactly that many at once, but i'm sure i played a few one after another, and never had issues. i'm on full stock, except systemUI is changed to GX's one.
I re flashed the ROM couple of times too but that doesn't make any difference either
I can play videos recorded with the phone but others - mp4,avi,mkv don't play.
Is anybody else having video playback errors and video recording errors, after updating to 5.0.2? I often cannot play videos in Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat ect. Video recording within apps does not work either. Did a factory reset and everything after update. Just wanted to see if anyone is having this.
Nope, my z2 and z3 tablet don't have this issue
I have the same problem on SGP612.
Disabling Nu Player in developer options and rebooting did the trick. Now video playback in YouTube and Chrome works again!
Same issue here. after a while youtube, facebook,... cannot play any videos. the only solution I found so far is rebooting.
MXplayer does keep on working.

Exact same issue here on my Xperia Z3 Compact, I have tried everything including going back to stock but I still have to reboot my phone 2-3 times a day since the 5.0 update. Does anyone have a solution for this ? Thanks

Was having the exact same issues (snapchat, YouTube etc.) . This fixed everything for me, thanks! :good:
Hey all. Anybody having this youtube issue? When i play a video, it says there was a problem while playing. Touch to retry. Yet the video foes play in thr background. It must be a youtube thing.
YouTube is working fine for me. See what happens when you clear data and cache for YouTube only.
I did not have this issue before. I recorded many videos with my z5 compact, the phone was not able to play the videos that I recorded but I can hear the sound. I decided to wipe the phone, before that I copied videos to my pc and even the pc is not able to play them! I have to find a way to recover those videos please help me. I have searched every site on the internet, it is as if no one has encountered that before. What must I do?

They are likely corrupted. Try playing them with VLC and MPC-HC.

It did not work, I realised that it happened because of the greyleshy's kernel. I need those videos
Hi all.
Today something weird happened to my phone. Any videos that I tried to play on the phone is not playing and keeps on loading. I tried to play video on Twitter & YouTube, Stories on Instagram but none is playing.
Anybody know why and how to fix it?
