It won't boot into recovery. I flashed it with flashify.
I will try if i can manage to make a logcat starting from boot.
By the way, i have come across this new Carliv Kitchen Tool you might be interested. It supports MTK, im really not familiar with:

I tried to make a logcat from boot.
I don't know if it contains useful info. I used <adb logcat *:E> command.
Thank you. Hoping you'll still give some time for this device and plenty of users out there.[emoji4]

Thanks for logcat but i need dmesg, not logcat. Logcat is used for system boot and work logging. Dmesg will be for kernel. Also from logcat i don't see recovery boot. Please try with adb wait-for-device shell dmesg

Should i log the stock recovery instead or there's something wrong with the process of taking log?

Dear friends , according to the latest tries I did , the Desire 820S DS ( MTK Version ) is kind of locked and if you flash a custom boot image or any other thing , you brick the partition and you have to reflash the stock using SP flash tool ... the Recovery.img in Patrol31's case is bricked and you have to reflash the official ruu through SP flashtool ... anyway @fergy I would be really thankful if you can find a way to unlock the partitions first cause I also can't flash through the fastboot ( Vol Up + Power ) without bricking the partition ... Thanks in advance

[Q] HELP! I flashed clockworkmod recovery before unlocking bootloader LG 4XHD

Hello I have a problem with my LG optimus 4XHD. I didn't like the 4.1.2 lg skinned android so i wanted to install a custom rom. I started by rooting my phone that worked but then i flashed clockworkmod recovery without unlocking the bootloader. Now i can't enter my recovery anymore but i can still boot into android. Now my question is: Can i still unlock the bootloader now without bricking my phone? Or is there another fix for a problem like this. Can someone please help me?
Thanks!

Thanks for replying i flashed CWM using the Rom manager app. Do you have any idea if i can get the recovery to work again?
You gotta find stock recovery and flash like you did in CWM recovery.
This is my idea and true in logical. Isn't it.
Try at your own risk and Good luck, mate.

I have unlocked many bootloaders of many MTK devices. The phone will be reboot to stock recovery and format the whole phone after unlocking bootloader. So I said that you need stock recovery.

You gotta find your stock recovery yourself by googling or request approriate one on the forum.
And see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163974 to make a flashable zip.
Or try this flashing recovery.img directly using Mobile uncle tools (I am not sure this would work. 50% to work)
See my thread here to try latter way.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2686654
Follow the steps 2, 3 and 5.
Good luck, bro.
Either your phone is bricked or CWMR is not flashed.

R5S Stock Recovery needed

I was under the impression that since the R5S has the same model number as the R5 (R8106) and is just a bump in RAM and flash memory, that the recoveries and ROMs would be compatible.
I was wrong, and having flashed TWRP, or the wmjan recovery, they can't boot.
Anyone got the stock recovery img from an r5s so I can have a working recovery again? The stock r5 recovery from oppoforums has the same problem as the custom ones.
If you tell me how I can extract the image from a R5S I can do it for you.
Are you rooted?
I'm rooted. Just got my r5s the other day. Like to get some dev action on this. If you tell me the steps I can do it for you. I'm familiar with ADB.
Guys, seems that the recovery image is the same as for R5. All in all, it seems the whole system image is the same for both devices. This is the recovery from the OTA version 16.
Thanks. No surprise really given it's only RAM and SSD increases. No need for a new ROM.... well except Lollipop
Thank you, that recovery worked, no idea why the oppoforums one did not.
I am now rooted. Now I just need adb drivers for Win10 so I can try my hack from the N3 to get rid of the automounting driver CD

Just install TWRP for R7 (it works on R5s) and use SuperSU from https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip.
ht tp://community.oppo.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=40522&extra= this one?
Can someone help me out? Got the R5s, flash via fastboot twrp, flashed worked but would not boot to recovery. Flashed older version same issue won't boot. Flashed stock recovery img from the Oppo fourms and that won't boot either. Any help would be wonderful.

@tdaliviu's img worked. Flashing back to stock and and gonna retry to flash twrp again.

Please in an adb shell on your device running stock ROM do
cat /proc/oppoVersion/prjVersion
And yes you can yank together prebuilt dt.img but thats not really a solution
for official TWRP since it need to be built all from source then.

Desire 610 is not an MTK device, It doesn't use scatter files. I think you might need to do some more research. It's lucky you are on an at&t device, as it is the only variant htc have released an "RUU" for, which is actually what you are going to have to download and use (as long as you can still get into fastboot mode otherwise your stuck). Alternatively, if you can get into fastboot mode you could install twrp recovery and use it to install cm11.

Go to HTC US site. Search and download "ruu" for at&t desire 610. Follow instuctions to install the "ruu". No jtag required. Just install everything in instuctions to PC then boot to fastboot and install. Alternatively you can unlock bootloader and install TWRP recovery using the program and instructions here. Then install CM11 using instuctions and links found here. Hope this helps.

Hi Dear,
I'm still looking for solution of Dead HTC Desire 610. QFIL might help but I couldn't manage to build some files needed to wake up my phone; which are rawprogram0.xml, patch0.xml, 8x26_msimage.mbn, MPRG8x26.mbn etc...
And also a flash-able stock rom for the phone. Need your help and guidance.
Best Regards.

QPST is not the solution for HTC mobiles, you need JTAG if your cellphone is completely dead/hard bricked.

Help! I've bricked my phone (Moto E)

Hi everyone, I've bricked my phone trying to restore it back from being rooted with otg. Now I'm trying to get back to being rooted with otg, and the phone comes on, and keeps restarting in a loop.
I have a Boost Mobile Moto E 2015 LTE (XT1526 I believe) with surnia.
Can anyone tell me what tools, and what I need to do to get it back running rooted with OTG?
Thanks in advance!
Also I never activated with service (just using it to run andriod apps) would it be possible to run this with att or freedom pop, or is boost mobile my only option?
Anyone can help?
Can anyone help me? Still stuck.
Hello @adkpci88 !!
Sorry to say that u corrupt ur eMMC chip while restoreing ur stock , and it's have some chances to get back to alive stage if u r able to boot in bootloader menu then it will be fixed by using any ADB method if u don't then use miFlasher tools for that!!

Yes, I blacked it out, do I need to upload a pic with the serial? Also, can you tell me how do I flash it to the latest stock?
After flashing the stock, do I need to root it again?

Yes it is required to root device again or you can simply install twrp & wipe system & data and install any ROM of your choice
Currently I'm on a vacation trip (& will be back by 2nd Jan)
Or you can search the forum for fastboot commands for restoring stock ROM
this happened to me as well any luck in finding a solution?
