I Know.......you are going to help me ... I can not install the QC Mode Diag . When I connect the phone to the computer being it started in BP Tools appears as shown in the picture 1 (not shown me QC Diag , just 3 equal devices) , then get the id of hardware as shown in Figure 2. We add the line that appears in the image 3. restart the PC, restart the phone in BP Tools mode and keep getting the same. What am I doing wrong ? I have a Moto E XT1524

There are two section in the motoport.inf file. One for 32bit OS & other for 64bit OS. You pl check where you have added these lines. What is you OS?
Then, You need to change the last two digits as MI_00, MI_01 & MI_02 each one for separate device.

I am also using 64 bit OS. Try attached one without any modification. If it is not work change to PID to match yours.

Is not working... Sorry but whats PID?

I feel it my duty as a person with a long experience of flashing CDMA phones to PagePlus to basically let everyone know that mucking around your phone with DFS can lead to very bad things if you don't know what you're doing.
Sent from my XT1528 using XDA Free mobile app

Right click on the moto device in the Device manager, Update driver, Browse locally & navigate to the motoport.inf folder, click ok.
This will work.

Thanks for figuring this out.
For the XT1527, it needs the following instead:
; MotoE XT1527
%USBMOTQCDIAGPORT% = USBMOTPORT, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2EC5&MI_00
%USBMOTQCDIAGPORT% = USBMOTPORT, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2EC5&MI_01

hi - did you take SPC (MSL ) from those phone ? and how you do it ?

Any chance this will work with pure xt 1575? Not sure what I need to change to get it to connect.
Still no luck but I did find my vid and uid.
Added these lines:
Code:
; MotoX XT1575
%USBMOTQCDIAGPORT% = USBMOTPORT, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2EE5&MI_00
%USBMOTQCDIAGPORT% = USBMOTPORT, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2EE5&MI_01
%USBMOTQCDIAGPORT% = USBMOTPORT, USB\VID_22B8&PID_2EE5&MI_02
; MotoX XT1575
Using qpst it can read the esn and phone number but phone is unkown and will not connect to programming. It did that before making these changes to the driver.

Please help me

[GUIDE] [ROOT] Switch off individual SIMs with Tasker.

X-Posted from the Mi6 forum and Stack Overflow. I wanted to do this the whole time I had my Mi5 (RIP) but couldn't figure out how.
Could anybody test on their Mi5 and let me know if it works?
kylemd said:
I know that looking for this answer has bugged me for the past few years, so figured I'd x-post from Stack Overflow. I have found the solution to switching either SIM off in the Mi6 automatically. Will likely work with other phones.
The whole question and answer you can find on Stack Overflow here.
To get the required index out of your device, you'll need to run the following commands from command prompt:
Download jadx from here
ADB pull the devices framework.jar (adb pull /system/framework/framework.jar)
Open the .jar file with 7-Zip and extract the *.dex files.
Open each .dex file with jadx-gui until you find the one with the following tree: com.android.internal.telephony.ITelephony
Search for the item TRANSACTION_setSimPowerStateForSlot. Note the = x after it; this is the index number.
Now you have the index number you can test the following command in adb shell (or Tasker, with the "run shell" function). You will need to "su" in shell, or set Tasker to "Use Root".
service call phone x i32 y i32 z
Where:
x = index number you fetched previously,
y = your subscription ID (generally, SIM1 = 0, SIM2 = 1)
z = whether on (1) or off (0)
Click to collapse
Of course, now that you can execute it in Tasker you can now switch either SIM off at specific times.
I've verified that it does indeed switch the SIM off (calls go straight to voicemail right after this command is executed) but I'm unsure of any further effects this switch has.
Enjoy!

Unable to launch fastboot on Lava Z60 (Mediatek Z60 chipset).

I am trying to root a Lava Z60 phone, for which I try to enter fastboot mode. Using either "adb reboot bootloader" or powerbutton + volume up and selecting fastboot, I get to a blank screen. The device ID in USB changes to a different one from that of adb. I can see the device in dmesg as:
Code:
[30482.597989] usb 2-1.1: new high-speed USB device number 53 using ehci-pci
[30482.707638] usb 2-1.1: New USB device found, idVendor=0e8d, idProduct=20ff
[30482.707643] usb 2-1.1: New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=4, SerialNumber=5
[30482.707646] usb 2-1.1: Product: Android
[30482.707649] usb 2-1.1: Manufacturer: Android
[30482.707652] usb 2-1.1: SerialNumber: 0123456789ABCDEF
But when I run "fastboot devices" the result is empty ( I tested on Linux, windows and FreeBSD). To debug I downloaded the python version of adb and fastboot tools and put in some print statements for the data sent to the phone and returned by it . The library expects these values(settings) to be returned from the device in fastboot mode(they are hardcoded):
class = 0xff, subclass = 0x42, protocol = 0x03
Instead my phone returns:
class = 0x03, subclass = 0x00, protocol = 0x00
I tried changing the hardcoded values to the ones returned by the phone but it resulted in a USB error. So I think my phone is not properly entering fastboot mode. Why could that be, and how can it be fixed?

I don't have this device myself but, your best bet would be to check out one of the following Guides regarding Fastboot.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3239537

There's other similar Guides/Tutorials on the forum but, those should give you a good start for what you are looking to do. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within one of them too.
Good Luck!

Don't think stock Android Q firmware is available for this device. If available then you've to use SP Flash Tool in order to install it.

Question Windows 11

Hello,
I saw on a website someone has installed the Windows 11 on a Smartphone.
Think you is it possible to do it on the Surface RT ? It's the same architecture ARM.
So far there is no ARM32 builds of Win11, so no. Not yet, anyways. The smartphone had to have been ARM64/Aarch64, the Surfaces are ARM32.

No problem! Maybe it will be possible one day, only the future will be able to tell us.
I'm feelling ready to brick an RT Surface (1st Gen), to test Windows11. I don't know what is going to happen. But, who knows...?
And in my hands, have a Surface Pro 1st Gen wich, i think is an I5 Processor, 64-bit. At this equipment, i'm trying to restore/fix boot record. I've allready entered in recovery mode. But forgot to fix this problem, and now i need again to enter in recovery mode. But it allways enter in bios setup!

The RT just won't boot to Windows, only issue it'll have as there is for sure no 32bit or ARM32/Aarch32 builds, only WinPE is 32bit (you could recover it). As for your Pro 1st gen, it'll be fine. Just be sure to bypass the TPM 2.0 thing.

Yup. Linux/FOSS for life
No, because windows RT used ARM 32, but windows 11 only support ARM64

EDL TEST PINS MOTO G9 POWER

I'm looking to pinout both test pins. I bought this phone a few days ago. I unlocked it with TWRP, I looked at the possibilities. I made a mistake with TWRP by switching the system to sideload B (I chose between A and B) and the system refused to start. I do not have access to the bootloader with the buttons. I only enter QDLoader HS-USB Driver mode working. I read the instructions on how to make a blank flash. I took the 18 files out of the phone and made a new blank flash for this model - moto g9 power / but in the end it gives me an error. Now I'm looking for a solution. - "C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ Desktop \ MOTO G9 POWER blankflash \ Blankflash for G9 POWER>. \ Qboot.exe blank-flash Motorola qboot utility version 3.86 [0.000] Opening device: \\. \ COM4 [0.000] Detecting device [0.000] ... cpu.id = 333 (0x14d) [0.000] ... cpu.sn = 2936128399 (0xaf01c38f) [0.000] Opening singleimage [0.000] Loading package [0.000] ... filename = pkg.xml [0.000] Loading programmer [0.000] ... filename = programmer.elf [0.000] Sending programmer [0.156] Handling things over to programmer [0.156] Identifying CPU version [0.156] Waiting for firehose to get ready [3.297] ... In those .XML files, can you delete the line that says "abl" and try again?
I will do, but these files can be downloaded according to the instructions on how to make closed files extracted from the phone itself
https://www.reddit.com/r/MotoG/comments/k73n66
I downloaded from the bootloader 18 files that are original, this is in connection with blank flash, where in the end there is an error, because eight made active "B" sector instead of A
I removed the ABL file from the XML, but the error remains, plus the message for a missing ABL file ELF

I'm just looking for an EDL program that works similar to this command line Set Bootable Partition- Slot A / run_AB-partition-swap - but here it wants some text file for the presence of a port, port_trace.txt
I'm sorry, I can't help further here. Even though the active slot is B, the partition abl_a should exist and should be flashable regardless. It looks as though there isn't such a partition at all, which I don't even know how that happened.
The tool which you are using is correct, it's doing its job properly. Are you sure you have the right firmware version and software channel? Because bootloader.img differ depending on the firmware version and the carrier. I'd also suggest downloading from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/cebu/official/, instead of the link you mentioned, motostockroms.
Also, try asking in this Telegram group: https://t.me/lolinet. There are people on there who are more knowledgeable, maybe they can help.
After trying the firmware image from lolinet and trying the process again with that firmware, I'd try to get into bootloader mode once again through power buttons, and if that doesn't work, send the phone into the service center.
Motorola_Moto_G9_Power_XT2091-3_RETUK_CEBU_RETAIL_QZC30.Q4-22-57_10_by_(motostockrom.com) With the TWRP program I chose with active slot B / I don't know if it deleted the content from slot A of the bootloader. By the way, I downloaded the original product firmware XT2091-3 according to the instructions for this, which I get when I try blank flash / I have no idea what to do, so I'm looking for a program "qualcomm edl mode flash tool" and I constantly get Indian sites with dangerous behavior.
I thank you for your time
Hey,
Today I found EDL points for Moto G9 power. Infact im also facing firmware issue.
I accidentally locked bootloader with stockrom again trying to unlock but not working.
Causing No valid OS to boot.
if i try unlock again showing message like " enable OEM unlocking in developer options"
unfortunately not podsible. But still waiting for proper EDL flash tool.
feel free to guide if any one got resolution.

Question How to update Windows 11 21H2 to 22H2 on "Unsupported Hardwarde" without loosing data

Hi everyone,
I need some help. I installed Windows 11 21H2 on "Unsupported hardware" like Microsoft said, but it runs smoothly on my computer. 22H2 update came and gave Windows 11 new design and features, and i want so much to install it without losing any data but i don't receive the update in Windows Update. I made some searches about it and i saw this update won't come for "Unsupported Hardware" users, and i don't find any KB updates in the web, so i have to reinstall windows and i won't loose all of my works, software and configuration, any to install this like normal ?
Thanks for reply
Download the latest version of Rufus from here.
Head over to the official website for Windows 11 ISO download.
Under the Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) section, click Select Download, and select Windows 11.
This will prompt you to select the language for your ISO.
Hope This Works,
Peter
I had this exact dilemma when 22H2 came out. All I had to do was create the AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU registry tweak and download the 22H2 iso from Microsoft's website. You don't even need to make a bootable USB, you can just mount the iso and upgrade from there.
Make sure when you download the iso to select the same language as the one you're upgrading, otherwise it will force you to clean install.

edit : tried to attach a script but it might be blocked
Copy this into a text file and change extension to .cmd

#:: double-click to run or just copy-paste into powershell - it's a standalone hybrid script

#:: uses IFEO to attach to Virtual Disk Service Loader process running during setup, then creates a bypass dir

Create the following registry key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup
Name: AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
Exit regedit and upgrade.

This thread is for upgrading on an existing Windows 11 install on an unsupported device without losing data. If you haven't installed Windows 11 on your unsupported device there are plenty of ways to do this here.

this one worked thx so much
You can also use rufus to create a "tweaked" version of the USB stick installer from the original ISO, then it will update without a hick.

I have used both Rufus and Ventoy, both work great installing Win 11 on any workstation or PC.

I agree, but I like the fact ventoy can hold more than one ISO, as much as your thumb drive can hold, I've got a 64gb thumb drive with about 5 different OS ISO.

Yes, you definitely can (guide) but on all of my devices, I always received updates like a charm... except now the upgrade to 22H2.
I can verify it worked using the Registry hack + downloading the ISO. All my 'incompatible' systems updated to 22H2 like a charm.
use this
