Video Editor kills frame rate? - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently switched the camera settings from UHD to FHD (60fps) on my Edge to great satisfaction. The problem persists in that when I used the built-in video editor to drop the sound and add BG music, the frame rate seemed to drop significantly. The edited video seemed more jittery and less detailed. My question is: is there any way to maintain the frame rate when editing 60fps videos OR is there a third party video editor that can do this? Thanks in advance for any information anyone can provide.

I noticed this too. I think the quality was better before the update that made it so we had to use WIFI to even watch it. Hopefully there will be another update soon so we can use it over 3G again.
Even before the upgrade it was same video quality

GTalk Background Replacement

Need help here, in S3 on talk video there function "Background replacement"?, what is this? I really no idea. How to make it work? And also when I enlarge the video on myself the width of screen become wide out, so it look my face so wide and big. It seem to many pixel width so video image produced to fit in. But I need confirmation here, Anyone?
In space, sunset and disco doesn't work!
GTalk background replacement "in space", "sunset" and "disco" doesn't work!
In Samsung Galaxy S III original stock ROM there is missing videos files:
system\media\video\AndroidInSpace.240p.mp4
system\media\video\AndroidInSpace.480p.mp4
system\media\video\Sunset.240p.mp4
system\media\video\Sunset.480p.mp4
Which these file cause the Space and Sunset background replacement doesn't work in Gtalk video chat, I'm not sure for "Disco" what kind video files.
Original stock Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S have these video files.
Samsung you missed this out on your stock ROM. Very bad!
Why two posts?
Both have incorrect information.
Those files are videos.

Stuttering Video in some apps?

I've got stuttering video in MLB at Bat and TCM movies but Netflix streams fine. Issue persists on LTE and wifi. Anyone else with stuttering video with any apps? It can't be a kitkat issue because I can't replicate on my Z1.

I picked up my Z2 while I was in Taiwan a few weeks back.
You're right I've noticed that on some video apps that streams video it seems to stutter when it starts rendering it on the display at the highest resolution it can. I notice this problem in several apps, MLB At Bat, Optimum (cable tv operator app), Hulu Plus... Yet I notice on some apps the streaming video is fine, i.e. youtube is perfect and is beautiful... I don't have netflix anymore so have not tried that app.
I don't have the video stuttering issues on my Nexus 5 or Moto-X phones which are all on kit kat.
Makes me wonder if it's sony software or app related that could be causing this on the Z2. I tried disabling the X-Reality engine, but that didn't help. I also tried a variety of different wireless networks thinking it was wi-fi that was causing the video stuttering issue, but to no avail. I get the same stuttering video while I am using LTE. When the video is not in the highest resolution it appears to display nice and smooth as it should.
Has anyone else with a Z2 had this problem? Or is it only us? I've been scouring the internet and this is the only post I've found someone else that is having the same problems as us. It's a shame, the display is beautiful and I really want to be able to watch baseball and cable tv on it without the annoying stutter.
Thanks for clarifying. MLB at Bat has remedied.

For anyone reading this thread the problems seem to have been resolved after the latest firmware update came out today for me.
I went from 17.1.A.2.69 to 17.1.1.A.0.402.
No more video stuttering issues.

Slow motion video quality is very poor and pixel are.

Slow Motion had been working fine for me except for the fact that it is very grainy and Pixelated despite video details showing that it is 720p. Anyone else have similar problems?

Same for me. Have you tried watching the videos on another screen other than the phone? I thought it may just be the playback frame rate causing the issue and not the actual recording. I haven't exported anything yet myself.

HereLG G3 Slow motion test: http://youtu.be/rpuNL4m8Dds is a link to the video I just recorder at 120 FPS unfortunately, the YouTube player does not support slow motion like other video players such as vlc. So feel free to download it and have a look if you want to see it in slow motion. The picture quality ad you can see looks like 360p and seems to be upscale to 720p. I still think something is wrong based in the other G3 slow motion videos I have seen on the Internet.
