Yeah, but my middle name is "minimal" so I'm gonna flash just because of that.
I'm just wondering if it's CM based like it says in the FAQ's if it force encrypts. I'll just flash a different kernel to be safe.

I flashed the one in the Google Plus community a few days ago, and it sure seemed AOSP...I flashed it with hellscore kernel, and it booted up just fine.
You'll love it, Jay.

This is my personal ROM that I build for myself but since I like this community I post it just incase anyone else wants to try it out.
It's an AOSP ROM based off of Euphoria. It used to be named CyanogenMod+ but I changed the name to avoid confusion and because their are so
many ROM's out there that say that in their name and title. I will try to fix problems with the builds or try to answer any questions
but I don't guarantee support. I also don't accept donations so If you like the builds and want to donate please donate to Euphoria,
Liquid, Slim or anyone else you see fit. Anyway I hope you enjoy the builds.

In the previous thread (for CyanogenMod+) he said we'd have to clean flash it. As such, I'll likely be waiting till this evening, if not this weekend, to give it a go, unless I hear otherwise.
On a side note, why the name "Benzo"? Makes me think of Ashley Benson *drools*

New build 20150213-0253
New build is up: I've added navbar icon color, PIE controls using LMT that's launch-able from the Benzo Settings menu and the launcher(I used LMT because of all the configuration options it has.), merged a better Performance app from Omni, I've fixed the Weather settings so it goes straight to weather, some under the hood changes and I've added the server code so after this release you can go to Settings > About Phone > Updates and the delta updates will download and patch if available. I'm very happy with this build because it's pretty damn stable and fast. Grab the build here.

I would like to be sure of this as well. It took me so long to get back to where I wanted when I moved from stock to cm+. I'd rather not do it all again
Duh! I had just downloaded Saber when I saw "end of life"!
Thanks for your great work. So this is just a name change or did you change something fundamental about the ROM? Just curious as to why you started a new thread.

Not that I don't enjoy the play on benzodiazepines, but Benzo Rom by Xanaxdroid?
I suppose that I'm sort of digging all of this.
FWIW, have you seen all of the insane Easter Eggs Google planted in hangouts? Stick any of the many benzodiazepines names and add the letters "dr" after it, and you'll get the laughing Android dude, just like lololol unleashes.
You know, I wonder if you teamed up with another dev under a user name like OxyConDroid, you could grab am entire array of opiate-named roms, and get a team PillDroid thing going. VicoRom with BenzoDrivers. It has potential.

Precisely. The theme on this has to be equal to the other mods.
I'm unclear, but perhaps psychedelic fits. Maybe a 70s look.

That's Benzo Rom. The user gets the awesome experience he or she wants, and yet simultaneously all parties have a benzodiazepine-induced reduced interest in pushing him or herself too hard to get it.

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

Just from reading the op, i already like the sound of this rom. Defiantly gonna try! Thanks for the hard work!
EDIT: Also, just making sure, does this rom force encryption?
Nope does not force encrypt, and its still an unofficial build. It is running pretty solid for me bit I do know there are some Verizon/CDMA specific patches I need to merge. Still works just does show carrier name in 3g.
any mirrow? dropbox doesn 't work.

wierd i use the mini version but shouldnt matter but it still works for me on new build so try it out.
New build up in op and switch to AFH for the host so happy flashing, as stated in the op this build will require a kernel to be flashed when you flash the rom, kernel choice it up to you.

This is actually requested again. I'll add it to my "think about" list. In the meantime, check this.
Great rom, guys. Headset output is hissing and apparently power is floating between the two channels, even at low volumes. Other than that, rom is working with no hiccups. Thanks again

Thank you! I am troubled by your problem, though. I plug my earphones in after a clean flash and I don't hear anything, either hissing or power flowing etc. Can you give me steps to reproduce? Maybe this is a hardware specific problem? Do you get this in other ROMs?
It is necessary "Extract boot.img and flash it " ?

I'm coming from chroma, which didn't present the same problem. I installed viper through a parcel backup with the same settings that I had with chroma and the problem persisted. I then went ahead and installed another music player just to make sure, and I know it'll sound weird, but the problem goes away if this other media player is executed before play music. After reproducing any duration of a song on amazon player, going back to play music works flawlessly. Same headphones, same all. And the solution persists till the next reboot, made sure in here. Since I reboot basically once or twice a week, that's not an issue at all. Is there any lib used exclusively by play music? Cause I noticed that opening viper through the equalizer option on play music makes the song to be briefly interrupted, not sure whether these are connected or not. Thanks once more for sharing your great work!

You gave me a lot of great info there, I'll troubleshoot and run it by the team. Thanks! And you're welcome.
@jacoghi are you running permissive kernel. The brief sound stopping when you go from play music to Google play is caused by viper being activated when it wasn't before. Chroma has a modified seapolicy to allow the use of viper in enforcing mode.

Hi,
I've one question. Since this is an unofficial build, do you plan to update and maintain this rom regularly? Perhaps once a month? I've tested the first build and it's quite impressive. But I don't want to switch to a rom, if I don't know what the future brings.
Of course I'm aware, that there are more important things (family, work). So I know, you don't know how much free time toy have next week, next month and so on. I only want to know what is planned at the moment.
Regards

See my review of the ROM here in the Oreo thread with a few screenshots.
I have been using it as a daily driver for the last couple of weeks without issues. To help with battery life on my (slowly dying) original battery, I flashed the last version of the Thunder kernel and set the max CPU frequency to 1958MHz (see why here). I get around 3h SOT with that, pretty good for a 4-year old battery.
