Awesome! Congrats guys, awesome ROM

Is this r8 of aosp?

It's about time!!! Really great ROM guys! I think you got it right - very fast and smooth, with good features. Thanks for all your hard work!

I get Google Play Service has stop using the slim gapps in the link in the op, used Banks instead solved the problem.

Love this rom. Didn't come to the party half baked. The goods are their.

Fanfreakingtastic !!! Downloading now

@REV3NT3CH, this ROM is too smooth! Thanks for sharing. Honored to rock your work on yet another device. You did twisted good things for my G2. Appreciated. Still setting up but the feel of the ROM is already solid - no jitters, tears or rough activity transitions pulling on the hardware. And that's after a short time of settling in. The tell tale signs of your kernel genius, no doubt. (=
Funny thing: Wasn't expecting the shock I got at the boot ani; watched the Google logo jump just before Desolation woke me up. Thought I was on my way into a bootloop. Instead, these electric splashes of color roll out & shocked my glazed 4AM eyes. Pretty sure I heard myself squeal - in fear first, then delight Lol Hey, a bold boot animation for one seriously well executed ROM! ?
Again, Thanks

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

These are not device specific bugs so it will be fixed eventually in the sources
Features stated in OP will roll out slowly after the guys at vanir stabilise most devices and have more time to backport features
BTW guys, there is MultiROM support in my unofficial builds, meaning, you can use it as your 1st ROM
Wait what!
Vanir? Awesome
Themes a bit more flakey than other ROMs. Settings fell over quite a few times. Need to change DPI for landscape nav bar.
Adaptive brightness works well.
Liking the choice for another primary in multirom.

I transitioned from LiquidSmooth to this and I'm feeling it... The BT issue i had with Liquid is no more. But I hope you can apply the camera workaround in a future build because its not working yet...also, is there a adblock option hidden in the settings somewhere?, some ads are breaking thru.

Thanks. I did see not F2FS, fwiw...just wasn't sure if that meant not all F2FS or none at all. Didn't want that to come off as a stupid question.

This will never be made for all F2FS. F2fs on system has little to no benefit anyway.

Very nice rom! Some cool extra features, good looking boot animation and I especially like that you chose layers. Just briefly looking around, I found that you can't select "none" or "swipe" (startup default is already swipe) for lockscreen in security settings. I never use a lockscreen, so I would definitely like to be able to disable it.
It appears that those 2 options are "disabled by administrator encryption policy or credential storage", which is what the ghosted out message reads under those selections.
As always, thanks for your work.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

A quick look at their g+ points towards 6.0, also I am assuming title would say 6.0.1 if it were 6.0.1 and not 6.0
It's 6.0.1. I'm flashing now but I will be shocked if its not 6.0.1
Its 6.0.
Roaming bug is back for Verizon user. Setting APN to VZW did not help. Will try restoring EFS partition from other AOSP roms and then secret menu next
EDIT: Restoring EFS from AOSPd did the trick. Had to toggle airplane mode off an on to get rid of that darn roaming bug
Can't wait to give this a try. Thank you
So much for the build.

*Welcome to Tipsy OS*
This is something Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) started in his 'free' time when waiting for GZR Validus or Tesla builds and having some drinks.
He just started with a slim base; on lp and early mm, and now using AOSPB as a base (wich Martin is also a part of)....then added what we thought useful.
It grew up to be a fully functional Rom
The main goal is to keep it AOSPB/Slim based and will not add any cm features unless AOSPB/Slim does.
TipsyOS is Black and Yellow default themed, we don't like white UI, so it may look a bit weird on light switch,
but heh! use layers to suit it your needs =)
We are a team wich is constantly learning and ...drinking because both gets along so well hahaha
Just report the bugs and request features, we'll see what we can do!.......
And don't get it twisted, its not because we're Tipsy that this project is not a serious one, try it and judge by yourself
My builds are compiled with UBER toolchains 5.3 on both rom and kernel code. it gives pretty good battery life as of now....
For cool wallpapers, test builds, requests; join us on our community!Google+ Community

I saw GZR on Google+. I've used some of their ROMs in the past and to comment it's invite only. I've submitted a request and it's been like 7 weeks and it's been neither approved or denied, and I couldn't comment or give feedback so I stopped using their ROMs as there's no way to communicate. Not sure how often the requests get reviewed but I thought I'd just give you a heads up.
Finally someone else who loves boozing as much as custom ROM's.
Cheers, will def download this now.

So far at first glance, it looks great! I like the customization, kinda like a resurrection remix. Still have to use it more to try the stability, but I have noticed one bug. It's that when trying to open/edit a picture in gallery, it reboots the phone. Don't know if that's something you can fix, but just a heads up.
Also... in the settings.... "Transparency Porn"?? LMAO
I'm definitely flash this!
Честита Нова Година, междудругото, пак се засичаме .

Thanks! We are working to bring more stability, features and performance.

seems very stable already; no fc's at all
I would love to see 3 minit battery mod brought in, but, otherwise, its got pretty much anything I need/want..

I agree with it being stable, nice battery life on stock kernel. Only about 3 hours SOT, but I've been using Bluetooth headphones and Spotify all day.
a one day run of a new rom is not, by any means, an accurate determiner of battery life..
of course, there is NO SUCH THING as an accurate determiner of battery life, of ANY rom since no two people nor any two phones are either built, setup, or are used in a similar manner
We are working in the kernel, now is stock with basically options.
In the future builds, its our idea the put options for better stability and obtain more duration of battery, but now the duration is very nice.
Sorry for muy english.
Works very well, I really love the DU fling bar. The gallery app does cause a reboot but using a different photo app works fine. I can't figure out how to change the lockscreen clock either. Very good battery life so far though thanks for the excellent ROM
How can I get rid of haptic touch? The clicking is driving me crazy.
Hint : I couldn't find it in Sounds, Language Input or
