Me too

I am new to N6 for just two weeks and thanks for the flashable zip. I just want to know if my N6 is on LMY47Z, rooted and not encrypted with bootloader unlocked. What I need is just boot into TWRP recovery, wipe and flash the zip, that's it? Thanks!

Yes. Well you can do more. Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/fxz-nexus-6-recovery-flashable-fastboot-t3066052, go down to LVY48C (5.1.1 Project Fi), download the Radio only (02.102) Standard:**click the link** and flash that too. Doesn't matter which one you flash first.

Yes thats fine, simply backup your current ROM in TWRP, then I would wipe and install the new ROM for best results, Try with out wiping first to see if it upgrades ok.

I would recommend not flashing the stock recovery, but it would be a good idea to flash bootloader and radio as well.

Sorry for a potentially dumb question, but is this only for those using Fi? Or will it activate under att just fine?

Can I flash this stuff on a Sprint enabled Nexus 6? And still use the Sprint network.

I assume so yes. I had been testing it on my international Nexus 6 and it connected with all my APN settings with out any issue. Just back up your current ROM first, before you flash., then you can simply restore backup if there are any issues.

Roms only wipes caches and formats system . I would recommend wiping data too
1. Download Rom to internal or external storage
2. Boot to Recovery
3. Make a backup
4. (Wipe all) Flash Rom (I would not recommend trying to flash this over JB)
5. Reboot system
For The latest firmware (radios, hboot (red text removed), etc), please follow the instructions I've provided in This Post

Well...not saying it's "the right" way to do this...but since the update wouldn't apply for me, I took a backup and then "dirty flashed" this...figured at worst, if things were screwed up I'd restore my backup and continue to figure out why the update won't work.
Anyways...it booted right up, and everything appears to be working fine.
Thank you!!!
Atempt to upload Firmware with this ROM
First of all, I would like to thank Vinchenzop for putting this together. We are lucky to have you working on our device!
I just want to make sure I am doing everything right. I am S Off, I am using TWRP recovery, I am stock (except for removal of Verizon bloatware)
I Plan on doing a nandroid backup, wiping everything and loading this ROM through TWRP. Than I plan on loading the firmware.zip from the OTA update to get the latest radios. After this, I need to reinstall TWRP through fastboot, than download and install the latest SuperSu.
Does this sound right?
Thanks!

I think it is beceause the .zip files are not signed.
If you want FFos as primary OS, you should flash it via fastboot.
Might be very nice of you to add something like "this isn't to be flashed via recovery like normal ROM unless using MULTIROOOOOOM" to OP now that you're aware, unless there's a way to sign these

The only way I know to update without deleting the previous version is to flash FFos as primary rom and flash updates via recovery.
If you want daily changelog, you can read code commits : https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commits/master
But it's not easy to understand.
Or you have global changelogs links in the first post.

Yes force encryption is disabled. Gapps are not required as this is a stock Google rom not a aosp. The firmware radio zip is not flash able through twrp it is a Windows executable fastboot file (unless this has changed since I flashed it awhile ago). Somewhere it explains how to use the firmware zip file I'll see if I can find it for you.
Ok so looking at the zip file for the firmware I believe it has changed from what it was when I flashed the e version of firmware and radio. It appears now that you do not have to use windows/fastboot to flash this file anymore. It looks like to me u should be able to flash through twrp. Can someone else confirm?
I'm 99.999% positive looking at the zip file it can be flashed via twrp.

Are you on stock e rom? I don't see any issue flashing from E. Its really pretty minor changes so you shouldn't have any issues. But of course always make a backup and clean flash if you have issues.. Also Franco kernel will work fine with any 5.1 build. I don't believe the boot images have changed throughout all these new images
Yep, I'm actually on his E rom, odex, with Franco. I went from D to E dirty. Let's try it again, eh?

Is there an Odex version of this? I've been on your odex e build for a while and wanted to try the latest. Thanks!
i am trying to install some script in the init.d
but i cant find that folder. This does have init.d correct?
Would it be possible for the original poster to make a Stock 47M ROM that is NOT rooted (but DOES disable forced encryption!)?
I'm having a serious problem with Real Racing 3 on this build. It won't start. EA's support says 3.2.2 fixes issues with nexus 6 and 5.1. I think they are full of crap, but as I'm rooted, I know any crash reports or stuff I send them will likely be tossed as they don't 'support' rooted devices. So I'm hoping to get a T-Mobile build that's not encrypted but also not rooted just to see if the RR3 crash occurs and send them a crash dump.
Thanks in advance, or if you know who DOES have a 47M unrooted/decrypted flashable ROM I'd appreciate it.
Randy

This is a 95% stock Lollipop 5.0 rom........I'm not going to make a colorful thread on this. Its just
a stock rom with a few features . Please note that I am not going to add anything, nor will I remove
anything else.
Once a new update drops from T-Mobile I will update the rom............
Features
Stock G900TUVU1DOB1
Rooted with SuperSU
Deodexed
4-Way Power Menu
Removed Batter Cover Toast Message
Disabled Signature Verification (user apps)
Working Private Mode
Init.d Performance Scripts
Added Sqlite3
Added BusyBox
Removed Security Pop-Ups
Enabled Unknown Souces as default
How to Flash
YOU MUST BE ON OB1 FIRMWARE TO FLASH THIS
I use TWRP for all of my roms. But, I'm sure other recoveries will work just as well.
A FULL wipe is required if you are coming from ANY rom. I advise a full wipe anytime you flash
a rom......Prevents any issues from popping up.
1. Download the rom
2. Make a backup of your current rom
3.Full Wipe (system,cache,dalvik,data)
4. Flash
5. Boot time can be up to 10 minutes...............

Easily flashable via stock recovery.
Steps -
(You need to remain connected to Internet/Wifi, as updater verifies the package)
1. Go to updater
2. Click the 3 dots icon on top right
3. Click "choose update package"
4. Choose this zip
5. Click Ok
Whole process may take 15 min - 30 min. In my case it took about 20 mins.
Enjoy ?

Not sure, you could check on miui.com or you can download the zip and flash it via stock recovery
Well, I felt that
Update is not that exciting
Everything is same as mini 8
This has better stability
Good carrier connection till now
Has added features of global development rom
Camera captures from fingerprint also.
Little bit better battery I feel.
For me first boot Took really long time.

Nightlies are generally meant for beta testers only, and you can extract update links via logcat

Yes. Use twrp. It might take some time don't worry. Once finished disable dm verify. And reboot.

100% you won't lose unlocked bootloader. Twrp, even if lost it might be due to some mistake during flashing, can be recovered by flashing it using fastboot mode. You may have to wipe (just wipe no need to format anything in data partition) before installation. I think dirty flash won't work.
