My zenfone 2 will not boot - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had my phone rooted, and did a system update without realizing you cant do that if you're phone is rooted. So the asus logo and the loading sign appear, but it does nothing beyond that point. I would just do a factory reset from recovery, but i cant get into recovery in the first place, and since it wont boot up, i cant system reset using adb. If i cant fix it my phone is completely bricked

My tablet died during a factory reset.

I need some consolation. I unlocked my tablet using the asus unlocker. I did not have a custom rom installed but it was rooted. One day i needed more space on my tablet, i decided to be lazy and instead of deleting the apps i would factory reset the device. i used cwm as the factory reset instead of the one in the system. during the reset my tablet's battery dies. now it is completely bricked it will boot to the screen saying that the tablet is unlocked and won't progress past that. i have tried every combination of buttons and i cannot get into the cwm recovery nor any other screen. The tablet is completely unresponsive. Is there a way that i could open the tablet take the hard drive and format it on my computer. Then replace it with new firmware and boot loader? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Stuck in boot loop, no recovery!

Yesterday I'd left my phone in another room and when I went to get it before going to bed, it was stuck in a boot cycle. Originally I was able to access the recovery (4Ext recovery) and attempted a factory reset, but now I am unable to even boot in to recovery, and attempting a factory reset from the fastboot menu only sends it back in to a boot loop. Is there any way this is a software issue or battery issue rather than a memory issue? Anything else I should attempt?

Samsung Galaxy Reverb Factory Reset (Soft Bricked)

So my friend's phone died during a software update which completely messed up his phone. I thought it would be a simple fix, no problem, but there is hardly any valid information out there that can help me (due to a lot of dead links). Here's the issue:
The phone (SPH-M950 btw) loads the initial "Samsung" image on the screen. Then it goes away and starts to boot up with a blank screen. My computer recognizes the device until a couple seconds late the phone restarts itself and continues this boot loop. I cant boot into the stock Android Recovery but I can boot into Download Mode. I've tried for hours to flash all kinds of ROMS with Oden but, despite the fact that Oden says everything worked, it still continues the boot loop.
If possible I would like to get the OS to work again without losing any data. If not then I would at least like to get the phone to return to it's OOB state so it's at least functional.
Help please?

Did you try to access the recovery mode after you flashed anything?
Try it and check whether it works. Then try to format /system /data and /cache (internal data will be lost) and then reflash stock rom via Odin.
Then try again.

I forgot to talk about accessing recovery mode. All that happens an Android logo pops up and starts to look like it's loading the recovery os but then the phone just reboots again and continues to do the boot loop. Nothing changed no matter what custom recovery I flashed.
I would have no problem if I could just get into the recovery menu but that's my biggest obstacle.

[Q] HELP! Stuck on bootloader unlocked screen, phone wont turn on! Motorola Xt890

A few months ago my phone (Motorola Xt890) froze, so i turned it off and couldnt turn it on again, it would go from the motorola logo to the intel inside logo and so on... i tried to fix it on my own, so i cleared the cache, reset factory settings, and updated it from adb device, but it only turned on for a little while, i noticed the "fastboot: max download size: 100mb" error, unlocked the bootloader and rooted it, but it didnt work either, so i reinstalled the operative system, it worked just fine for about 3 months, and now it froze again and i wont go anywhere but the "warning bootloader unlocked" screen, i can enter the fastboot, but i dont want to loose all the data again, is there anything i can do?, is it a hardware problem?.. maybe the internal memory is damaged.. could that be it?
sorry for the broken english, and thanks so much for your help.
