Do not know what said Gear S is for Samsung Phone and WatchStyler is made to works on Samsung phone and you talk about a LG phone right ?
Just know that the compatibility with app and feature is very low on no Samsung phone . WatchStyler has some issue in normal use, so with no normal use.....

There is a procedure call side-load (you can google it if you wish) but personally I don't recommend it. Apps published on Samsung Gear Apps pass a certification process just to avoid malware and incompatibilities with the Gear S device.
If you side-load apps from wherever you can take risk!

Tutorial: Install Gear Manager and connect to Non-Samsung Devices

Hi,
Today someone told me via Google Plus how to install Gear Manager on non-Samsung mobiles. His name is Serge Berig. So 100% Credits go to him. I am just posting here what he posted in Google Plus. His Phone is Moto X and Mine in LG G2. Worked perfectly fine.
My Test Scenarios:
1. LG G2 D802 Rooted. Rooting is not required as his Moto X is unrooted.
2. I am using a separate SIM on Gear S.
3. I have disabled mobile data and Wifi on both Gear S and my mobile
How it Works:
1. Download Gear Manager Latest Version and GearManagerStub.apk from this link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/e7h23e12rzesi/Gear_Manager (Credit goes to the uploader)
2. Download these APK Files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3uemtAJSY3PVDFiY0FsVGRLN28/view?usp=sharing (Credit goes to Serge)
3. Move these files to your phone.
4. 1st install Gear Manager, then GearManagerstb.apk, then all remaining apks.
5. Open Gear Manager on your phone and viola. It connects, Resets your Gear S in case you used it before and as far as i checked everything Works
I did not test each and everything. As far as i know most thing works. Previously i had "Connecting Forever" Issue, now it connects straight away. I am using my Gear S as complete independent to Mobile Calls and SMS from my Mobile. I have not set any forwarding options or notification for Call and SMS from my mobile to Gear S.
Pls post your results
What's not Working:
1. Can't Transfer Music/Images from Phone
2.
I was just coming here to post this.
I can confirm this works on my stock G3.
Works:
Calls work, but i had to switch to the phone then back to bluetooth. Initially there was no audio. However that may have been a glitch, because it works after that without flipping back.
Notifications (you have to allow Gear Manager access to the notifications in Android System Menu)
Home Screen Styler
Find My Gear
Contacts pull down to Gear
Not Working:
Music player seems to be controlled through Gear Manager and not A2DP. So we may have to install Samsung Music player. Still investigating.
Transferring files to the Gear through Gear Manager crashes goproviders.apk. This also broke my notifications. Had to reboot the phone to get it back working.
Call Logs dont pull down
Weather app is missing
Receiving SMS in the watch SMS app. You get the notifications just fine, but the GEAR SMS app can't sync your conversations

I would imagine there is a newer goprovider.apk. The one he posted is 2.0.337.337. Thats the older one from the Gear 1/2 Gear Manager.
All the Samsung Gear S apps are version 2.2 and up. I was experimenting with the old Gear Manager and got similar crashes.
Just thought I'd chime in and let you know that I have the same version on my Note 4 with the Gear S. 2.0.337
Thanks for checking on that. It's got to be a missing lib or some TouchWiz framework.
It's not even a feature I care about, but i'm sure it will be needed later.
I'm still trying to find a fix for the music player controls.

Did you install the Stub Manager and all the 8 or so other APK's?
If you skipped the initial activation screen, make sure bluetooth is on, on the Gear S.
Also, try unpairing in the phone bluetooth menu then reopen Samsung Gear manager.

yes i installed the latest gear manager app as well as stub manager apk and other apks provided
this is my first time setting this watch up. my devices pair up but when i go to paired devices in the gear manager and try to connect, on my phone it says "connecting to gear" and the gear just has the "to connect to your mobile device, select the name of this gear in the samsung gear application" message
*EDIT*
got it working . i uninstalled everything that dealt with the gear under app manager in my phone and unpaired the device under bluetooth and re-installed everything again. it re-paired itself and it is working now.
I must have missed an APK somewhere
Glad to hear you got it working. Try some of things I listed as not working and see if you have different results. The more info we have, the better!
Music and images not worming here as well.
if I disconnect from Bluetooth my calls don't get forwarded to my watch. Can't send out text messages as well
Yeah I just want to chime in saying this isn't a fully working solution, but it works enough to keep me satisfied for now.
I'm sure as we get more people wearing these, more will jump on board to fix the issues we have.

you´re f***, there´s some problem with samsung and the rom gets screwed installing greenify, and the developer doesn´t answer anyone about this. im s6 stock and after installed greenify the phone goes totally muted, until open app the message doesnt arrives.

Err...then don't use Greenify on this device. I can see why the dev doesn't respond
no one has advised that problem on samsung phones... then must be blocked samsung devices on play store or created a advise on that.

Gear Fit 2 - notifications not working

Hi, I use the Gear Fit with a Huawei Android mobile. Pairing works fine. Unfortunately the notifications don't appear on the Gear. I turned WhatsApp, SMS, Calendar and phone calls on in the Samsung Gear mobile app, but the only thing that works is showing an incoming phone call...
Any experiences or suggestions?
thx
Try installing Android Wear onto your phone. I've heard it somehow interacts with the phone to send notifications to Tizen devices. S2 and Fit 2. You don't need to open it, just install it.
Did that and it worked... though now the Gear App crashes when I try to open it. but for now I'm happy getting notifications and there are no apps to download anyway...
thx for your suggestion! ?

Glad that worked, but Gear App should not be crashing. You may want to try and reinstall it if you have not. There are a lot of new faces in the Gear store now as well.
Unfortunately it still crashes after clicking the icon. Connection is working though. I uninstalled both Android Wear and the Gear app, cleared cache in the settings but didn't help.

Okay, it could be the phone then. The app doesn't crash on a native Samsung phone from my experience.
if I turn off Bluetooth and disconnect, the app works fine. As soon as I turn it on it crashes so I never get to install apps and watch faces.
maybe it has something to do with my recent Marshmallow update that came in the middle of playing around with the Fit2...

Problem with Amazfit notifications

Hi all!
My sister just got this mobile and is having a lot of problems with her Amazfit Bip S. The notifications only arrive if the device is unlocked, and sometimes when the notification arrives, the watch doesn't vibrate. If the device is unlocked, the notification always arrives and the watch vibrates. I have checked that all the battery savings options are set for the Amazfit APP. I have tried serveral APP like MiFit, Amazfir APP, Zepp, Notify&Fitness and Advanced Tools for MiBand and in all the apps the behaviour is the same.
I have tried with my Skagen Falster 3 and the WearOS APP and all works fine also with the device locked and the screen off. I have tried her watch with my mobile (S10) and my wife's mobile (S8) also Samsung and all works fine. She before had the Huawei y6 2017 and all worked fine also.
I think that should be something the device is doing when going to sleep, but only with the Amazfit APP? Because the WearOS APP seems to work fine... Or maybe something the Amazfit APP is not doing properly for the new android version A21s with low RAM compared with her previous Huawei device?
Thanks
Exactly the same happens with the Garmin Connect app. As soon as the screen is turned off on the phone, the watch loses connection. Tried with Garmin 235 and Fenix 5 plus and it is the same.
Something on the A21s is making some apps sleep even when you say not to.
The bluetooth on the phone stays connected to car audio so it is not the bluetooth switching off.
My sister went to a Samsung store here in Spain and the girl at the store told her that, after seeing a list in their a Samsung's system, the Bip S is not a compatible watch with the A21s. Interesting thing is that my sister ask her about which watches are compatible with the phone and she told her the she can't know it (but you know that the Bip S not?). Then she tried to sell to her a Samsung's watch
I don't know if trust her... But I think that is something Samsung do intentionally?

Good to know. My sister sent her device to the Samsung's SAT. Let's see with which version comes back and if is not with the last one, works fine again after the update.
Her issue was solved also with the last update :good:

Question Smartwatch

Hi,
Has someone been abled to use a wear os smartwatch with the phone?
I tried to pair an oppo smartwatch (wear os 2) and the wear os app stays blocked on the launch screen, so I'm unable to pair it.
I also tried with a samsung watch 4 (wear os 3) and the galaxy wearable app launches but when trying to pair, I receive an error mesage saying the watch is not compatible with the phone...
So, for now, no smartwatch for me working with the phone.
If someone has been able to make things work, let me know.
Have a nice day.

Garmin Fenix 6 works a treat so assume the rest of Garmin is ok
Samsung Watch 4 Classic - There is a workaround that i found (can't remember where!) where you install Wear OS first and pair the watch through that then install Samsung Wear etc. (do some googleling ) --- However i still had issues with disconnects and notifications so not perfect
Same kind of answer, Garmin forerunner 945 is working smoothly here.
Galaxy Watch works flawlessly with notifications
I had the same issue with a LG Watch R: downloading Wear OS from the "normal" Playstore, when opening Wear OS I've got a stuck white screen. But I managed to fix it:
- Download Wear OS from OPPO App store (let's call it Chinese Wear OS) and install it but don't run it.
- Download Wear OS from Playstore (let's call it Internation Wear OS) and install it and run it.
After this, I was able to start Wear OS and pair my phone with my watch.
Don't forget to allow both Wear OS (chinese and international) to run on background and pin the international version only.
Never open the "Chinese" Wear OS; it will unpair your watch and you will need to uninstall everything and start all over again.
Also, allow all notifications.
Thanks for your answers.
Well, I'm not going to buy a new watch...
For the Samsung watch, as I'm not able to launch and use the wear os app, I guess the trick will not work.
For now, I've switched to a Fitbit which seems to work.

You just have to reintialize the watch and pair it with galaxy wear and the galaxy wear module for notification. You can restore via samsung cloud via internet and the watch is ok. I have The first galaxy Watch with 4G. I am on tizen and i see your problem is wear os related isn't it?

Heya,
A question for people here, I have an Oppo Watch connected to my Oppo Find N - I managed to get it working using the chinese version of WearOS along with the normal version.
Everything is working fine but my Google Pay on the watch constantly crashes or is in a setup loop on the watch, anyone else have this problem? If so any workaround to fix it? (FYI Google Pay working fine on the Find N)
Thanks, it worked
My Amazfit gts 2 is also working fine.
With Huawei and Harmony OS nö Problems too.
Found a solution for anyone that is using Samsung's Galaxy 4 Wear OS watches. You have to install the following apps from Playstore less No.4:
1. Samsung Gear (Samsung wearable)
2. Samsung Watch4 plugin
3. Samsung Health (SHealth)
4. Chinese version Wear OS (From appmarket)
Once the above are installed. Reset or reinitialize your watch, wait for the "Welcome" intro to start. Open up SHealth app -> click on 3 dot on the top right -> settings -> accessories -> Select Galaxy Watch4 or Watch4 Classic to pair up. Follow the setup accordingly. It's optional to sign in to SHealth for your watch btw. Everything will work flawlessly after that.
After you're done with the setup, close all apps via recent and you can launch Samsung Gear as per normal. If you're experiencing intermittent disconnectivity, launch Samsung Gear and lock the app in recents. Do not kill the app. I have not experienced any battery drain from it so far.
DO NOT uninstall the chinese version of the Wear OS under any circumstances. It will disconnect your watch and you won't be able to pair it back. Which means you have to unpair via SHealth, reset your watch and go through the entire setup again.
Hope this helps someone.

You could try to pair the smartwatch using the chinese version of wear os. It will tell you to download the international version or open it directly (if already installed) - worked for me.
