LG MAGNA or LG Prime Plus HDTV (In Brazil) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, i have a LG Prime Plus HDTV (It's name in Brazil) but his real name is LG MAGNA, and i want to install a ROM Google Edition in that, can you help me with this, if you have a clean ROM for this cellphone?

Me too
I only want to backup my original room so I can change it with a relative security, in order to, I rev to install ROM manager. The only problem is that the app didn't have an specific pack to the LG h502, or prime plus in Brazil. (huebr)

That is not going to be easy, first of all, development for LG Magna is practically nonexistent! Second of all, it would have to be a signed stock kernel since (as far as I know) the bootloader cannot be unlocked, and for that reason, you can not install a custom recovery either...
Now, having said that, it is not imposible. LG has published the firmware on their opensource site. So in theory, you only have to compile it, which is way more effort than the one I am willing to put on this little phone.
If you have the time and the moxy here is the link to the firmare:

Cheers!

Any Custom ROM for LG G2 Mini D625?

I just got this beauty in a really cheap price but I can't access my google account at playstore, so i decided to install a custom rom
I finally got ROOT with the KingRoot
but now, I can't find any custom rom for this specific G2 mini (D625)
Anyone has installed any recovery or custom rom successfully?
Thanks in advance!
There is no active development on the d625 because it uses different hardware. It's not like the other phone models ( d620, d618 etc.)
Ill tell you straight: picking this device up and starting to work on it would take much time and effort no one is willing to do.

Indeed.
The biggest problem of the device is that no one has figured out how to unlock the bootloader.

[help] Lenovo Z5 Chinese room and updates

Hello everyone!
I put myself in a problem here, my mum wanted a new phone and I suggest led Lenovo Z5 as her best option.
I put my money into my alipocket and I was about to buy it when I noticed that there isn't any official international ver of it.
I wouldn't mind the Chinese room if it means I get updates, but I don't know if I can actually install Google play on it..I can't see any info on Zmui
Also if I bought the Chinese ver, will I be able to flash a official international stock rom on it and receive OTA update?
Or will the same idea work if I bought the rooted ver they offer?
about z5
i am a chinese and i bought a Z5 about 3 weeks ago.
The most attractive part of the phone is the 1080P LED screen after using a AMOLED for a long time (worried about my eyesight)
I've never used a ZUI before (i've MI 3 && OP3T). Before buying the phone, my friend tell me about the bad impact of ZUI to his Z2 (AnTuTu Tester remark is lower a lot than a aosp and some roms ) which means the optimization of ZUI may be bad.
After getting the phone, the ZUI annoy me ... Though the ZUI 3.9Ver is based on 8.1 with GAPPS in it, the settings is too poor and the gesture is not well enough. Although with a 6G size RAM, it killed app even you lock it (the utilization is low means most of ram is useless ....). I dislike the ZUI default launcher(ZUI launcher) and replace it with Pixel launcher.
About Root: the phone do not support root or you Warranty is go, but you still have way to root it
About OTA: the rom support OTA if it is not rooted
hmmm last i cannot find any rom like los to flash (that's really shame)
I am really satisfied with the screen ( it must be the best in screen in this price )
Hi
I just bought the phone and it will arrive next week.
I have been really attracted by the looks.
I think I can leave with ZUI.
But tell me how is the performance of the camera both in good but also low light conditions?
Hi i'm from Spain and i love the desing of this phone levono z5 but i want to know if it comes with ZUI i could change it to android, is this posible?

Here's the link in Chinese. https://club.lenovo.com.cn/forum-1490-0-0-reply_time-0-1
Hi, i am assuming you dont like ZUI and want to change to stock android,
Well the phone is still new to the market, i have not seen any developer working on a rom yet, as of now there are no other options then using the stock operating system.
FYI, i am using Zuk z2 pro with custom rom from mokeedev which is also stock android. I got my Lenovo Z5 last week, there is lot of chinese bloatware in there, so i havent switched yet, i am also waiting for a different android operating system. hope this helps.
I bought one from DX.com
You can switch the language to English, but there will be a few Chinese elements (eg. on the keyboard)
These can be easily fixed by installing a 3rd party keyboard, for example.
Mine didn't come with any Google apps but I was able to install the Google Play Store from this APK:

It supports project treble. Some users flashed the stock rom through that. But I think official engineers never try hard in bug fix.
Thanks everyone about the information! If only Lenovo used Stock android like Umidigi Z2! It would have been excellent to use
But is Lenovo z5 going to have a Android P update? If so then wouldn't that optime the phone in the future?
Or is it possible to wait for a working stock android rom for Lenovo z5 ?
Another thing, my mum loves the super bright screen on Lenovo and it's big, she says she wants a lot of her apps running in the background and she needs USB C
I don't trust Umidigi phones, Oppo A5 is over priced with no fingerprint sensor and low ram, vivo phones don't have USB C and xiaomi phones are just darn ugly.
is there any twrp in our lenovo z5?

Lenovo Z5 ROM problem
:crying:Good afternoon, I bought a lenovo z5 arrived yesterday, when I called it I noticed that there was no software of the ZUI, ie, it has a rom that is not for this phone, does not match the notifications with the notch, has navigation bar etc. nothing matches, what do I do? Does anyone know where I can download the appropriate ROM for it?
i bought it at geekbuying
I'm in the same exact situation as Paulacfmsimoes, bought the z5 from geekbuying and it came preinstalled with a butchered frankestein version of the stock rom. Its bootloader is unlocked as well. I'm desperately trying to find a way to install the normal stock rom version, so if anyone has an idea, please help!
Please HELP!!!
I Deleted some important system files on the phone and now it does not torn on.
i did managed to install the TWRP recovery so if one of you guys hes this phone and you can upload me a system backup with TWRP you will save my ass!!
i bought this phone to my girlfriends birthday and now its dead
pleaseee replay and help me
This would be the absolute perfect time for one of you guys to help us out. (both us idiots that bought the phone from geekbuying with that beaten down custom rom and cohavio as well). I anyone with ZUI 3.9 that has the chinese and english version of the rom could make a back-up, that would be awesome!

I don't have the phone yet. But its possible that I will have it for a short time. If you tell me exactly how did you install TWRP (steps and the image of TWRP you used) and a proof that it works I may be able to help you.
If anyone knows chinese, I think I found the solution to all our problems. I stumbled across this forum where the guys have a tool originally designed to unbrick / and or return the phone back to stock.

Any ROMS for the "ZTE Avid Plus Z828"

Does anyone know of any ROMs, Official or Unofficial, for the "ZTE Avid Plus Z828," completed or in the works? I have this phone that was given to me, because a relative changed carriers. I am presently using it as a wifi device. It has better specs then my activated phone, a "Moto E 1st gen," and I would like to replace it, with the Avid, but the Avid has Marshmallow, and my Moto E has Lineage OS Nougat. If there is none, may I suggest it somewhere?

Well, I think I am too late in the party...
I rooted my avid Plus a while back and it got somewhat messed up....
I am currently trying to compile CM-12.1 and Lineage 14.1 (if cm-12.1 works) for this device along with TWRP to try and see if I can revive my phone and yours too! I'm thinking about flashing TWRP through Download mode or Emergency Download Mode using the QWIL program. I have the original frimware file but I have not tried yet. Maybe just replace the original recovery.img with thw TWRP idk.....

Moto G Power - ROM Suggestions/Tips for a Beginner

Hey Everyone,
I am pretty new to this and have been looking at getting a Moto G Power as my first phone to root/load a custom ROM on to. I had previously tried this with a Moto G Fast, but the phone was broken and did not allow for USB device detection, so I figured I may as well do a little upgrade and try again with the Moto G Power. Does anyone have any suggestions for custom ROMs? Or does anyone have suggestions on a different Motorola phone for a beginner (from what I understand unlocking the bootloader is the same on every Moto phone)? Also, any advice in general is greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time!

This (XT2041-4, US model) is my first Motorola device, so learning the 'unlock bootloader' method was new to me, having used Samsung tablets, but it is clearly explained in thus forum and was relatively painless. Not as easy as with my Samsung devices, i.e. had to get a code from Motorola.
I went with Resurrection Remix because I've used RR for my tablet in the past, and I knew it had a lot if customization options—I was not disappointed. I'm so pleased with it that I haven't even rooted; first device out if 10 or so that I haven't rooted.

How come you opted to not root the device? Also, I've been doing some digging on these forums and I think I may go with the Lineage 17.1 unofficial ROM. However, I am open to other options.

I'm satisfied (hell, I'm actually overjoyed) with the customization provided by RR. My current use case (phone/text/browse), doesn't call for my usual over-the-top privacy efforts; i.e. XprivacyLua (which requires Ed/Xposed, MyAndroid Tools, et. al.

Adroid 8 oreo update no longer available?

Hello Folks,
i just bought a used H850 to switch my data from my old G5 with broken display.
The broken ones already has the oreo update, if i remember correctly i did that with the phones build in update function without any problem.
before i can transfare as much data as possible to the new G5 i have to make sure its running the same android version but when i search for updates now the phone shows that its already on the newest version (with Android 7)
Same when i use the LG Brigde software for PC.
Does LG remove the update? Is there a way to install that last official update on any other way? or to 1:1 clone the data from my broken display G5? in the past i did that by just switching the motherboard but im not sure if the old motherboard has some other disfunktions.
My Banking App also refuses any kind of rooted phones so Lineage OS is bad :-(
Thanks for help in advance

As LG stopped supplying the unlock.bin for the bootloader it's most likely they stopped phone support at all. (I'm never gonna buy anything from LG again)
I've kept a "H85030f_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1122.kdz" on my NAS.
Afaik it should be flashable with LG Up but Idk exactly as mine is on a custom ROM.
