Enable HDR video feature, improve camera quality from KK ports & any kernel recomenda
Since Xperia Z has HDR video feature, can someone enable this great feature in our DNA? Cuz both phones share same Snapdragon S4 pro processor, however they dont share same sensor wich Xperia Z uses 13 mpx camera while DNA uses an awsome 8mpx sensor wifi HDR capabilities, i guess in ports from M7 KK there should be some HDR video files because the direct port, what do you guys think?

You should give moblynx camera kk a try. It's basically the aosp camera with some useful additional features. 16:9 option, HDR, and you can take pictures with your pebble too. I love it.

Google claims that lollipop is able to capture full resolution frames at 30 frames per second. Also, it can capture raw images. So what you people think about camera performance in moto e after lollipop update ?
Can moto e record 2k videos at 30 FPS?? There are some devices(with 5 mp camera) out there, which can record 720p videos on kitkat. I don't know why motorola limits moto e to record only 480p videos. Do anybody have any idea??

Camera is not only about software alone, its hardware dependent too...
The Moto E camera hardware is limiting and I doubt Lollipop will improve image quality....

I don't think that there would be any camera improvements. Being the major reason it has no auto focus feature

Well we will get one but need time for xda wizards to do their magic
Pixel 3 Camera port might fix the low light photo problems etc with that ai night sight. The features are all software based and so they should work on the port might as well due to similar hardware except forthe custom Visual Core chip. Definitely looking forward to test modes like TOP SHOT, PHOTOBOOTH , NIGHT SIGHT, SUPER RES ZOOM on the port

It will always be 5mp since there is pixel binning of 5mp x 4 = 20mp

B-S-G is already working on Gcam 6.0, and I am alpha testing it. Should take few more days for beta to come out.

Please improve the shutter speed in next Gcam version for POCO F1... It lags too much at night
Also improve the image stabilization in video
Really disappointed with 5 mp front cam... Result is not good... Improve it

Set the minimum shutter speed to 1/20 or faster.
If you're disappointed with the front cam, complain to Xiaomi, not the people here.

Really disappointed? I'm not sure if your saying that just because it says 5MP in the camera or your actual front camera performs bad but GCam takes very good Front camera photos on my Poco F1.

If you are disappointed, then use MIUI Stock camera. Nobody is forcing you to use Gcam mod.
If you want shutter speed, then set your exposure to 1/16 at night.

That's a rude reply... I complained here because someone in the comment section claimed himself as an alpha tester of next gcam 6.0 mod ... Btw what I should use is my concern it's none of your business... Learn some manners first then reply

First stop *****ing. The developer who mods owes you nothing. If you find something not working, report it as an issue and submit the logs. Stop whining like a kid.

When I took some night/low light shots from both gcam6.1 and Poco F1's stock camera I really shocked how good the night mode is.

There are no major improvements in portrait modes!! Just minor improvement but are not noticeable!! They are just as Good as previous Google camera mod!! So only I didn't included then in my video! Hope you get it

The rear camera has no difference but the selife in front camera is much better with gcam

Yep. Front camera is where you can notice how bad Stock camera struggles with light exposure. Whereas there's no problem on Gcam.
Please check attached photos, clearly MI 6 wins, even without Gcam. Stock camera HDR on Poco is useless unfortunately

Nope rear also working for me but blur effect is not as much!!
And it's barely noticeable

Sorry but... Dont know why you All are so happy with the Port. Its slow... Standard Pictures issue to take 2 or 3 seconds... After 3 shots the App halts. Yes the Image Quality is good but there is no WAY to Make serious images with IT...

Are you kiddin me ? Sorry I expected to use a camera app as it comes for the device... my fault. You`re right Next time i’m Gonna configure it correct before using it. Didn’t expect it was windows what we were talking about.
I’m fine if you tell me this app needs a pie rom for best usage and indeed i only tried it on Miui 10 beta so far - but on miui10 it sucks. As i installed in in more than one version.

I don`t want to miscredit the developer of the app in general. I really appriciate his work here. I would love to use it really - but cant in daily usage. thats all i wanted to say.

How to enable mirror image on gcam?
In settings the front camera says 5 megapixels and can't be changed higher than that. Are the photos in 5 megapixels or is it just a visual bug.
Hello, i got pixel experience on my Moto G5S from China,and it works awesome, but the problem is that the Chinese XT1799-2 version has a 16MP front camera, but the original G5S has a 5MP front camera. So my theory is that pixel experience could not recognize the 16MP camera. Can you please help me? My phone is rooted and i have TWRP and Magisk if that helps.
