[Anim]Alt bootanim for LuK's AOSP Rom - G 2014 Themes and Apps

Before I start I must state that I will NOT be held responsible for any of the following mishaps::: If Martians land in your front yard and destroy your lawn -- if your pet dog gets abducted and is forced to mate with a Martian dog -- if any mishap occurs to your device while installing this animation.
This is an alternative bootanimation for LuK1337's 5.1.1 AOSP ROM. Before loading this, if you want to preserve the original anim go to ... /system/media ... and rename it (simply put "old" or something similar in front of the name) so that it won't get overwritten by the new one.
You need to download the new animation and using whichever file manager you prefer place the new one in the folder .../system/media ... as a precaution against any problems it's a good idea to change the new animation's "Permissions" to the following ... rw r r ... If you look at the old animation you will see those permissions.
Once installed this animation will survive any number of reboots HOWEVER if you flash any of LuK's updates then the animation will revert to the original and you will have to go through the whole business again.
I have included in this post an animated gif which will give you some idea of what the animation looks like. There are minor differences but these are a result of the basic differences between gifs and anims

[STICKY][FAQ] Viewsonic G-Tablet ROMs Frequently Asked Questions (READ THIS FIRST)

Here are some frequently asked questions about the G-Tablet. Where there are specific answers based on ROM, the ROM is listed prior to the answer.
How do I install Clockworkmod?
See Step 1 of THIS POST
OR watch THIS VIDEO
How do I boot into Clockworkmod?
With the device completely off (and not asleep/suspended), press the + volume button and the power button until the device turns on. If it is successfully booting into Clockworkmod, you will see a message at the top left of the screen saying booting recovery image.
How do I perform a wipe data/factory reset?
With Clockworkmod, select the third option in the menu "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Home key (second button down on the right side of the gTablet in landscape view). Then, confirm wipe by selecting "Yes - wipe data/factory reset" and press the Home key again.
How do I clear the cache?
With Clockworkmod, select the fourth option in the menu "wipe cache partition" and press the Home key (second button down on the right side of the gTablet in landscape view). Then, confirm wipe by selecting "Yes - Wipe Cache" and press the Home key again.
How do I install VEGAn-TAB/TnT Lite/Cyanogenmod?
See the very first post of THIS THREAD
Where can I find the different ROMs for the G-Tablet?
1) Stock by Viewsonic
2) Stock + Performance Pack by rothnic
3) Tnt Lite 4.1 by Roebeet
4) VEGAn-TAB beta 5.1 by gojimi, Roebeet and Rothic
5) Zpad Clean 3.0 by rothnic
6) CyanogenMod 6.1 Beta4 by bekriebel
7) CyanogenMod 7.0 RC0 beta3 by bittrix
8) Tnt G-Harmony-Gingerbread Elements by tjohnsonjr
9) Plus the great kernel enhancement by clemsyn.
Keyboard and Mouse Support
VEGAn-TAB: Yes; supports an external keyboard and mouse, but it is picky. I have tested three keyboards; only one worked (MS Natural Keyboard). The MS Arc and an old Compaq keyboard did not. All mouses tested worked fine (both wireless and wired).
TnT-Lite: In testing; will update when testing complete.
Cyanogenmod 6.1b4: Yes; According to iammuze, keyboard and mouse both work.
Wallpaper blurry
Some have pointed to applications that can possibly fix this (Wallpaper Set & Save, MultiPicture Live Wallpaper) but I have had limited success with both of these. A bit of experimenting with different wallpapers will yield a satisfactory wallpaper image until this is cleared up at a later time.
Screen resolution in landscape (horizontal) mode
1024 x 600. Remember that if you're making wallpaper, when using the G-Tab in portrait mode (vertically) will make the wallpaper shrink and there will be black bars on top and below the image. Best image size: 1024 x 1024.
How do I get a fully working Marketplace?
See Step 3 of THIS POST
Is there a difference between the marketplace that comes with most G-Tablet ROM builds or the new "improved" market?
The only difference is the appearance. In functionality, it is the same. The market hack is still required for the new improved marketplace (and reports are that it often takes more tries to make work than the standard market).
Problems with acore FC's
The problem is a corrupt contacts sqlite database. As the referenced post says, you'll be able to tell if thats the problem when there is a .db-journal file in the folder. The folder is /data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/ *Note* this is not the data folder in sdcard, but the data folder in root (/).
Just delete the databases folder in /data/data/com.android.providers.contacts and restart. The contacts database will be rebuilt and re-synced.
Also, see THIS THREAD/FAQ
Why do I keep seeing repartitioning as a solution to install problems?
Because Viewsonic didn't partition the G-Tablets in a way that Android likes to live on. By repartitioning, Android feels happier and many issues/problems are resolved.
What is the recommended repartition ratio?
2GB/0MB is STRONGLY recommended for TnT Lite 3.00+
2GB/256MB is considered the default setup
4GB/256MB is used by many people, but see the aforementioned caveat regarding TnT Lite.
Why won't one of the devs answer my question/post?
Because they:
1. Have day jobs.
2. Are busy coding and fixing the next release of VEGAn-TAB.
3. Have seen your question 23 times already in this thread: the search function is your friend.
4. Are not being paid to read forums and go through 100's of posts, many of which ask the same question (although they do this out of the kindness of their hearts thankfully!!!).
Who are the devs working on the G-Tablet
VEGAn-TAB: Gojimi, Rothnic, and Roebeet
TnT-Lite: Roebeet
Cyanogenmod 6.1b4: bekriebel
I can't get X to work on my G-Tab. Can you fix it? (where x = desired ROM)
Maybe. Maybe not. Currently, VEGAn-TAB is in Beta which means that it's still in testing. While it may be stable and usable for most people, it doesn't mean that it will be completely stable for you. If you have problems, post them and be happy knowing that you're helping the community at-large. Some problems may not be reproducible, however. In that case, it may be a matter of a corrupt install, conflict with previous install, cache or data issue, etc.
Do the dev's accept donations for their work?
Some do; others don't. If you see a donate button on their profile, feel free. If not, they don't accept them.
How to get the stock VEGAn-TAB wallpaper without the letters?
See attached image in 1024 x 1024.
More Advanced Questions.
Can the startup "Viewsonic Birds" or "gTablet" screens be changed?
Yes they can. Follow the instructions in THIS POST.

These were grabbed from over-the-air updates. They are full recovery images that wipes everything except the user data.
To use this with a vanilla recovery, you need to rename the file to update.zip, copy it to the root of /sdcard, and also create a recovery folder with a file called "command" (see the 1.00 release for that file). When you run recovery, the command file will direct recovery to run the update.zip to update the system.

Great FAQ!
"Why won't one of the devs answer my question/post?" is so true. I scan this forum daily, but there is no way to keep up with all the questions that pop up (especially once it's back more than 2 pages). If you really need me, PM me - at least I'll eventually see the question. But, keep in mind that I get more PM's than you might realize, so it could take me some time to respond.
@ehunyadi as Robeet said Great FAQ. This will definitely help alot of people.
Now I just need to find free time at home to test out the vegan ROM.
Maybe this should be a sticky?

Thanks, guys.
I tried to change the title of this thread to encompass all flavors of G-Tab ROMs but I think only a mod can do that.
I am going to start including info about all the different ROMs in here as well to help keep things simple in regards to finding the FAQ's in one place. This SHOULD help reduce the questions a bit. At least that's my hope.
Awesome job! Thank you so much for this! I posted your video of VEGAn-TAB on our new ROM homepage. Check it out @ HTTP://vegantab.gojimi.com.

Very nice site!!!
Any chance of your sending me either the font or the artwork you used for the words VEGAn-TAB? I'd like to try some things with it on my G-Tab.
Thanks for posting my video!

Sure. I can put that in here. Give me some time; I'm having a busy day at work today.
ehunyadi,
I forgot about this thread, but you may want to see my thread up higher about a site I found which offers a .pdf of the Advent Vega manual and some software for those capable of working with it.
The manual explains operation of much of the ROM interface.

Oops, I had the link in memory and so I just pasted it in for you to look at.

I'd like to know/see in the faq what in the SDCARD folder is safe to delete
or how to do a complete wipe
and: Where do my installed applications go?
Thanks a lot for the FAQ Ehunyadi

OK, I am a n00b to the Gtab scene. I do read the first post 99.9% of the time, but when the first post leads me to an incorrect first post about how to install, I must make mention of that fact. The first post mentioned does not have any instructions for installing. Is there a step by step tutorial for this to be found?
TIA ..... HTR
I see you added the link to the default wallpaper without the branding but what is the location of the default Vegan wallpaper or at least a link to it? I changed my wallpaper and now would like to revert but do not know the location. Thanks a lot.

Once you change it from the default, there's no known way to go back right now.
Edited to add: You can always use the image an image that is identical to what VEGAn-TAB comes with stock, but this has to be downloaded and selected from gallery/filesystem vs going back to the default wallpaper.

Good point; I'll fix that link.
As for a step-by-step, you can view THIS VIDEO that takes you through the steps of installing with Clockworkmod. Ignore the fact that it already has an OS on the G-Tab; you can do this with a fresh install as well.
Also, see THIS THREAD for step-by-step instructions. I'll fix the first post in the thread to reflect the change.
Here is the default Vegan wallpaper:
Thanks Trist-Wolf!!!
Updated to encompass ALL ROM flavors. If one is missing, or if you have useful information that you would like to see in the FAQ, please post or PM me directly.

vibrant logo

Is there any way to change the white vibrant bootup logo? Where is this file located and would it be better to use a deodex rom to change this?
Thanks in advance
There's a lot of info on this. Try boot animation from the market. You need to be rooted BTW
is there a way to make my own bootanimation if I have a video file? or a pic?
Check tonicacids threads theres a tutorial on how to make them on his boot animation thread
This is not part of bootanimation.zip.
Its called a splash screen, and no I dont think u can change this yet, I think its hard coded into the kernel, but im no dev so not sure, I know u could on the g1 though
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Check develop section. There was one thread about it I think
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
General FYI,
The Vibrant uses a 2-stage static splash screen, totally different from the traditional splash.img used on other android phones.
The first is called by the bootloader from the lfs partition, there's a thread in the development section on how to change this logo here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947331
The second screen (in the case of the vibrant, this is identical to the lfs splash, so it seems like we only have one screen, but we don't, we still have two) is built into the kernel during compile.
There's a thread about this in the captivate section, with a specific post about the second splash here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10851192&postcount=118
I tried playing with kernel dev today a little bit, but am having an awful time getting everything setup, even using existing, good kernel source like ttabbal's dragon kernel.
Anyway, hope this helps, cheers, =)
Its here...

Edit: Oops awesome Jocelyn explained it already.
Thanks everyone for pointing in the right direction! I'm prolly gonna want to change both anyways but may not be able to change the splash cuz of my limited knowledge. Also where is the splash img located? Is there asn apk I have to decompile?
ps.- jocelyn I have seen you help so many people why is you thank meter stuck at 7?

Hey again,
The first splash (the one called by the bootloader) is stored in the lfs partition, the first link I provided has a great video walkthrough on how to change it. Basically, you have to flash a new param.lfs to your phone that by default doesn't contain a logo_T959.jpg image.
Then you create your new logo, 480x800, and save as logo_T959.jpg, keep filesize small (the video mentions ~20k being the optimal size.) Then use his provided batch script to remount the lfs partition read/write, and push the new logo to the phone.
The second image is vastly harder to change, since it has to be compiled into a kernel. The second post I linked to contains a walkthrough to make the image, but you then still need kernel source, and a build environment setup to compile your custom kernel with your splash screen.
Basically, you have to use GIMP to save your logo as "C Source Header" and then run a shell script to convert it into the proper samsung logo format, drop it in your /kernel/drivers/video/samsung directory, and compile the kernel.
Sorry, I've not been able to configure a build environment yet to successfully build a kernel (even from known good source, like ttabbal's dragon kernel) on my OSX partition, and I'm too stubborn to triple-boot mac/win7/ubuntu again.
Oh, and my thanks meter is low because I haven't posted much here since it was implemented, the lack of credit/thanks burned me out on android and xda-dev for a couple months.
Hope this helps, cheers, =)

(28-9-12)[SD/MAGLDR]JellyBean AOSP Beta 4 for HD2 (NativeSD)[KERN: SecureCRT HWA]

This build is ported from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773115 using Portadroid http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1094372 (thanks boonbing), with modified initrd.gz from smokin901 (huge thanks) and loads of help and advice from wis1152 (huge thanks too)
Credits and thanks to smokin901, tytung, boonbing, texasice, evervolv team, securecrt, Bexton, wis1152, Xylograph, Rick_1995, ankuch, Zergra, Cotulla, DFT and all others, sorry if I have missed any
The LNE team are not developers, but hope to be able to provide ongoing support for this thread.
Instructions:
Well you know just extract everything and put the build folder (the one with all the files in, for example ics, jelly) in the root of your sd card. If WM6.5 tap on clrcad (nothing appears to happen) then haret, if magldr navigate to build folder using ad-sd dir and select build folder name then boot AD SD.
For help with NativeSD, visit the Wiki: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_HD2/NativeSD
Please remember to REBOOT X 3.
Magldr users can get different sized blank data.ext4 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24930501&postcount=1353 edit; may get boot loops, please test. Magldr default=512Mb if you leave empty. edit2 here is blank 256mb one http://www.mediafire.com/?ey40c1wti77ni2w
Latest Kernels can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29248688&postcount=4 but default runs well. Remember to back up before changing kernels (system.ext4 and data.ext4 just in case)
BETA 4 AOSP Native SD

BETA 2 AOSP
Note that first boot will take about 10 mins (depending on size of data.ext4 created) and will end with the phone rebooting. Second boot will take less time and will show the boot animation (as opposed to portadroid screen in first boot). You are porting this build, it is so that some apps are put in data.ext4 file. You can safely delete root_tmp folder after second boot to save space. Remember to reboot x3. See parent thread for changelog. Use a 3rd part app for camera (eg camera illusion)

After hours and hours (since 4AM this morning) wis1152 has managed to port a version for haret (&magldr BTW) users with working data and root. Huge respect and thanks.
Please do a fresh install as root seems to still be broken if using an existing data.ext4, set your size in startup.txt. Note that folder is called ics in this build, rename if neccessary (and edit startup.txt accordingly).

See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29034218&postcount=166
Put system and meta-inf into /sdcard/ics-or-jellyb/root folder and reboot
As far as I can see it adds 2 lines to /system/build.prop
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
qemu.sf.lcd_ density=110
Not sure why lcd density is put to 110, it has no effect on actual lcd density.
Anyway, delete these lines to remove softkeys and before rebooting, make sure your root folder is empty, else it will re-install (yes, it happened to me)
You may find the some screens slightly messed up with softkeys added.
No soft power key yet. Try Quick Boot from market and add power off widget to homescreen, thanks liuhung.
Pre-alpha version 1 only
Softkeys can be got from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28874557&postcount=92
Put system and meta-inf into /sdcard/jellyb/root folder and reboot
To remove, use the attached instead (it has original .apk)

the folder is named differently anyway. you can keep your existing build in ics folder, as long as you have space on sd card. It isn't laggy.

Seems good for now, not much time to play with it, but is solid.
Will probably go to magldr again soon when Ansar releases new WP7 ROM

Have you read the latest developments regarding Artemis? The new version will be equipped with Microsoft Windows Embedded Mobile, so not WinMO 6.5.5 anymore. This means that the startup screen also changes to that! Great new developments are coming to us and our HD2!!!
Keep track of this my dear friend!!
It's about the same impact as JB versus ICS!!

no problem.
runs much smoother than ICS even in pre-alpha state..
So far so good...
I've noticed we have x2 calendar icons and x2 gallery icons.
There's no camera apk so i installed procapture but it failed to start the camera.
Tried Wifi and it works ok
Battery drains seems ok too.
This is what i have so far...

[ROM]Android wear 6.0 to EXT4

After further developments we have realised making a whole new kernel is not worth it as all functions we could want can be just made into a custom ROM
This Project is now currently about how to make android wear darker, basically a theme for it. Since android wear those not contain any theme engine all ui mods must be done by hand ie apk modding. Anyone willing to mod the ui is welcome to do so as I do not have time but I will compile it into a system.img
For everyone to enjoy here are all the apks contained in the system ie everything with a GUI.
modify at your will and upload fully working signed apk if you would like to test it

Nice job! We would probably prefer not crippling fresh installs, so getting at least one watch face back in would be ideal.
Check out `the fonts/ directory, I bet some of those can be tossed out. Looks like you might gain a nice chunk of space by doing that. May need to look at/tweak etc/fonts.xml and etc/system_fonts.xml though, they reference the ttf files.
recovery-from-boot.p can definitely go. We don't need that.
These hals can probably go since they should be overridden by their msm8226/dory counterparts in the same dir. (Not saving much room at all by doing so, but it might get to the point where every kb counts)
lib/hw/power.default.so
lib/hw/audio.primary.default.so
lib/hw/gralloc.default.so
Others that should be fine:
etc/NOTICE.html.gz
Might cause some breakage, but since we don't have wifi you could try removing these:
lib/libwifi-service.so
framework/wifi-service.jar
Some other ideas I had if it came down to it would be to move some of the apps to /data/. Maybe creating a flashable zip or something to do so?
Another idea would be to ship one or several "mini" squashfs images and mount them right after we mount /system/. For instance a fonts.img that's just the fonts/ directory, we could mount it during init right after system gets mounted. Not sure how much extra compression would be needed or space gained, and really this would probably be a last resort hack, but might just do the trick.
Yet another idea is to shove more things into ramdisk, we have some room there still.
EDIT:
These can go too:
bin/install-recovery.sh (this is what clobbers twrp every boot, service is disabled in my ramdisk, but we should kill it anyway)
bin/applypatch (only install-recovery.sh needs this)

I looked through the fonts and yes a lot of the non-English ones can go but that would destroy international support
Was going to create installer for removed watchfaces as they really don't require system access, fit could also be installed on /data not sure if step counting will still work, main reason to have the app at all. Thanks for suggestions will add smallest watchface back and delete the suggested files tomorrow
@invisiblek could you also create a recovery with the ability to wipe the new system as @rbox 's build cannot do so for future updates when we create a recovery package so the new system can actually be flashed PS. I gave you edit permissions for the files
Do you know what prebuiltwearsky.apk does?

Thanks for pointing that out but seeing as Android wear has no playstore I assumed it was the sky watchface
Edit; just checked, yes it's package id is com.android.vending so it must be some playstore for wear. Wonder what it's purpose is as all apps regardless of source can communicate to wear and install apps. Hopefully after @invisiblek s changes it will be able to fit whatever functionality it serves. Never thought I would say this in 2016 but it's quite large at 2.95 MB will hope it fits
edit edit: now that I think about it it might just be a residual app from wifi enabled watches as you are able to install apps to those while they are connected to wifi and not the phone by bluetooth. Can someone test it to be sure? thanks
Thinking of calling this freedom rom as it gives us the freedom to R/W to system. Looks like someone already beat me to it http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/wip-aosp-themed-rom-t3098153 thread seems dead thought won't mind if we use it
Edit even better idea Freedom ROwM (Read Or write) as I kinda pun because ROM = read only memory but this whole project is to make it Read Write
Bad news everyone just tested build and @invisiblek 's kernel cannot boot the system. Will update soon hopefully

Well, twrp inherently auto-detects the filesystem before wiping it. It look like there are options in there to change the filesystem though. I could mess around with adding squashfs formatting support, but that really doesn't do much for us.

Device is completely undetected by pc and is essentially bricked so yeah don't have a jtag or anything
It's up for grabs if you wanna try it. It did no damage to my device maybe to my pants because I could not boot to bootloader but managed to anyway. Will send you stock squashfs image if you don't already have it
I am watching and waiting to test.

Could we use a Linux kernel that supports healthy honey? And more so towards slimsaber ROM for the LG G2?I am wondering if marshmallow os might conflict with my current daily driver ROM . I think a Linux kernel will make this ROM more compatible for different roms.

I think you are on the wrong forum this is for the LG G watch not LG G2
Just to add ; all android devices run off a Linux kernel, Literally all of them even the x86 ones and what in the hell is healthy honey? All google shows is some Honeypot distro for pc. You seem to be trolling me cause you must be high when you wrote this
what are the possible benefits in switching to EX4 filesystem?
Just curious here on one thing.... how hard would it be to remove the tutorial stuff that you have to always go through upon doing a factory reset and G Watch setup? This ROM looks promising for sure.
Also a few name ideas:
FreedomG ROM
LibertyG Watch
SleekWatch ROM
MarshSlimmed ROM
SlimmedG ROM
SleekG ROM
GWatch Slimmed ROM

[AROMA] oZoP Mods - System Animations - 8 full w/5 add-ons [v1.1 - July 30]

oZoP Development Projects are on the way!!!
ONE ZIP ONE PLACE
System Transition Animations mod
By flashing this zip you will be given a bunch of choices for different system animation style for screen/window transitions, keyboard/toast views and many others. You will get an additional option to tweak a little for unique styles!!
So I give you this, UNIVERSAL for MOST devices Aroma installer to give users the option for different choices!
This zip will work for MOST device running ANY Rom with ANY version Android 5.0+!
How to use the ozop-restore.zip to revert/recovery quickly without the need to restore or reinstall the whole Rom:
And just to be safe, I have included in my scripts and files a method that will create a flashable restore zip of your files before the mods does its thing!
The restore zip will be inside the new "ozop" folder that has been created and the zip is named "ozop-restore.zip"
If something doesn't play nice, just flash the zip and you'll be back to the way it was before you flashed the mod
NOTE: the script will delete any existing restore zips EVERY TIME you flash a new option, meaning that if you flash the mod again, your original system files will be replace with the file you flash previously!
If you want to have a permanent back up of the original file, you will need to rename the zip inside the ozop folder to whatever, just can't have the same name or it gets replaces everything you flash the mod
BUG REPORT:
Code:
MIUI choice causing boot issues for some users (works fine for me), so be prepared to you the restore.zip if needed. Will look into a fix for future releases
Report bug properly to get my support
Of course there are many way to properly report bugs and ALL of these ways have one thing in common, THEY ALL REQUIRE VERY DETAILED NOTES of the issue!
I'm not going to go deep into how detailed you could get because lets face it, most people that report improperly are the ones who don't read and probably are going to read this! HaHaHa...
To get support from me I only ask for some simple things
1. What device, and rom you are running
2. What is the issue (no boot, fc everywhere, fc only certain app etc...)
3. Which option did you select
4. Did you get the install log
5. Did you use the restore.zip option to get back running
6. Do other choices share the same effect
That looks like a lot, but it really is the minimum amount of info need to troubleshoot!
Provide me that and I'll do my best to fix things and make this fun for everyone.
If you post things like
"Doesn't work", "bootloop" or anyone other similar post that have no value and help development is no way, actually these kinds of post only put development behind and slow progress die the fact that anyone who cam help has to waste their time reading it!
If these kind of post ever come up, its best to ignore the lazy person and not clog the thread with flaming replies as that too slows development!
Anyway, I don't expect there to be many if any bugs! Been tested by myself and confirmed with users of this device!
Now grab the download and enjoy!

Great... All in one place... Missing link is my favourite... Many thanks dev
Missing link animation is great.... Will try more animation on oos 4.1.6
Welcome
@stangdriver44, great to see you here! your amazing work for the Galaxy S6 was the only reason I kept it for as long as I did. Ultimately touchwiz killed me and I switched to the 1+3T.

Whoever wish to use this theme first pls make sure that u took a original backup of system animation as said by OP otherwise you can stuck on bootloop. However most of the animation is working on my oos 4.1.6
It broke most of my apps running 7.1.2 resurrection remix CAF version with stock kernel (whatsapp, contacts, playstore, GMS) , i had to revert back using the restore zip and waiting for it to boot up. thanks anyway.

hope you can make this more modular, i like missing link keyboard animation, and like ios transition
so for now i use missing link + drop down transition
hope more option coming on next release
Missing link and iOS animations worked fine for me on RR . Using missing link right now. Missing link working on my son's nexus 6 running RR as well
Now my smartphone looks much better.
I use the Nexus 7 Style.
Thank you for your work .
Can you add the OxygenOS animations? The fading etc that they add is very nice.
I can't flash the zip through TWRP, when i try it says that it cannont be installed and it gives me error 255.
Model: Asus Zenfone 2 Z00A
ROM: LineageOS 14.1
I tried mutiple times and also tried moving the zip from the SD to internal storage but it gave me the same error again.
I really hope you can help me because i really want those iOS animations since LOS ones suck.
OBS: This is the only info i can give to you since i can't even see the Aroma GUI, the error happens as soon as i try to flash the zip.
Edit: Through a little research i now think is because me phone is x86 and not arm, would you kindly make it x86 compatible? Please?
Edit 2: Here's the recovery log i copied right after the error appeared: https://pastebin.com/6q1cwdeA (the flashing process starts at line 1022)
Edit 3: Managed to fix the 255 error by replacing the "update binary" file with one compatible with x86 (from lineageOS). But now i get another error, this time error 6, which apparently has something to do with the "updater script" file i think.

This mod is made keeping the OnePlus 3T in mind, buddy. You should have expected it to not work on the ASUS Zenfone. Moreover, ARM - x64 v/s Intel - x86 (32 bit). It was bound to fail.
No updates??
Will it work on one plus 3t 5.1 oxygen os
