Application shuts down unexpectedly. - Xperia Z4 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Every few minutes at the center bottom of my Z4 tablet, a white circles appear and sometimes shuts down the running application. Is this related to a task killer application or what? Any suggestions?
Thank you.

[Q] OS problems on my SGS2

Hey guys,
I got an SGS2 a couple of weeks ago, and it has just started giving problems...
I have done no Kernel modifications / CustomROM installation...
1> Gallery takes time to load and is jerky after it loads
2> Angry Birds stops randomly and goes into a boot loop [Rovio Screen -> Angry Birds splash image -> Rovio Screen]
3> Lag on pressing power button to turn on the screen... about half a second or so [this has always been happening]
4> On disconnecting a call sometimes it goes back to dialler, sometimes it goes back to the Lock Screen. [even if i opened the Dialler to make the call]
5> Some Applications installed from the Market don't show up in my app drawer, but i can start them up from the "Downloaded Apps" section in the Market.[This has happened with 5 - 6 applications.]
6> Sometimes even after getting a "Installation Successful" message the app doesn't show up in the Market or the App drawer. [This has happened with 4 - 5 applications.]
7> Sometimes after uninstalling an Application, it still shows up in my App Drawer, but says unable to start application when i click on it.
I presume [hoping] these are just bugs in the OS rather than Hardware problems...
I have 3 launchers: TouchWiz [I Never use this], AWDLauncherEX [Used to use this], LauncherPro Free [Testing this out]
I play Gun Bros on my phone quite often... i have no Issues with it.
I installed TheftAware on my system and enabled it. The trial period ran out [Thought it was free ] so i uninstalled it.
Any ideas guys?
Since the above mentioned glitches are fairly minor, i'm waiting for a good CustomROM based on KE8 to be released before i factory reset my Phone.

No
Try factory reset first followed by a return under warranty is what i would do.
KE8 is now old KF1 KF4 .

Strange Issue

I'm running Rocko 3.0 unlocked and have been having a couple issues lately.
First one is settings related. Every once in a while there are a couple settings that seems to change themselves. Auto rotate will turn off, stay awake when charging will turn on, and after a screen unlock or reboot some widgets will disappear from the home screen.
Second is apps that I install from the market will disappear from my device. When this happens they are not listed in "my apps" on the market or in the app drawer.
At this point I am at a total loss. I have no idea why it is happening or how to fix this. I also don't know if they are related. Does anyone have any insight into how to track something like this down?
I'm a MoPho-er

Greenify on HTC 10 Marshmallow is so slow and doesnt hibernate all

I got a HTC 10 (Non Root) and i have noticed that compared to my old phone (Non Root) that when you click hibernate it freezes on various things (Plex, QuickPic, ES File Manager, Slides etc).
It freezes on the force stop / uninstall screen, where in the past it would flick through them so quick and be done in 2-3 seconds where now when it say goes to close plex it takes about 12 seconds, then closes it then goes onto the next app.
Now some icons that go slow have the GCM logo, where others dont, so its happening on both.
This is also happening on another stock HTC 10 (Non Root) phone.
Any ideas?
anyone?
Same problem with my LG G4. When I click the shortcut Greenify Hibernate, it freezes at the popup of "force close". Sometimes I have to touch the back icon to close it, then touch again the hibernate icon, then it can perform the hibernate.
And also with the feature of auto hibernation, it never perform anything when I turn off the phone screen for quite long time.
Hope someone here can find the workarounds.

Why is this thing so slow?

I've only had this thing a month. I didn't expect great performance, but there are times it is just agonizingly slow! Switching from messaging to the home screen seems to take forever. I stare at a blank screen for a long time before the icons appear. Touch also seems sluggish -- I have to press the home icon several times before the home screen appears. I accidently started playing music with the Play Music app but couldn't get it to stop. Pressing the pause icon repeatedly and the music blared on. I couldn't turn down the volume, couldn't turn it off. It just kept going. I'm not talking minutes but certainly a lot longer than I had with OnePlus 3 and Nexus 6. I'm constantly clearing background apps to improve performance, but that isn't helping.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Try disabling the in-built ASUS apps. I was able to disable the following apps with no negative side effects:
ASUS Cover
"Do It Later"
Gallery
Mini Movie
"PhotoCollage"
Quick Memo
Splendid
Weather
ZenCircle
ZenFone Care
I would also recommend switching from the ZenUI Launcher to something like Nova Launcher (or your favorite launcher).
Hope this helps.

How did you flash back to 6?
Yeah, you need to disable the Asus bloat. You can also try using ftllauncher. The issue is limited ram when running the Asus OS.

What is this black android screen that randomly opens and closes quickly?

Looks like it's originated from an in-app billing service ( keyword: Google Billing )
