Hi,im trying to download the z2 d6503 flashable zip file for pre-rooted lollipop but cant seem to get the link to mega to work for some reason. Each time i click the link it takes me to a page wanting me to download the mega app from playstore but i already have the app installed and an account. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Hey, this worked for me thanks! But I noticed that there are some recovery folders on my external sd, would I need to do anything about this for when changing sd cards? Also I know this is a stupid question but would I be able to use titanium bu for flashing roms and also keep root?
Sorry for the stupid questions, I've come from a simpler nexus background xD

I prefer recovery for flashing ROMs.

Reboot your phone into recovery mode (TWRP Recommended). And select install. Then select the copied flashable.zip. Swipe to confirm flash and wait untill flashing done! Then Reboot the device.
It was more the "Reboot into recovery" part I was thinking of. I had followed the original guide, and getting into recovery is not an easy task. All apps that claim to "Reboot to recovery" simply reboots the device normally.
Got an error installing the Flashtool drivers . Error was "Sony Net (02/17/2014 ..."
Maybe a problem with Windows 10 ?
Any help is appreciated.

Most probably you don't have a working recovery installed.. Try to install recovery manually..

hey its working find for me its a latest version UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.21.40.30-user and all sd problem is fix and i dont experiece the problem you face
first copy your new luncher ex. novaluncher.apk in /system/priv-app
delete asusluncher.apk shell.apk and zenuiservice.apk and reboot your phone

Yes, I always swipe everything except deleting Internal SD Card unless nothing else works.

for now i think its not possible.as u have to patch the kernel..but give it a try flashing as secondary

I was on Candy Rom , used Jackies kernel to flash the rom . It flashed ok but didnt go past the black screen
for me bootloop
Since it works on unlocked bootloader, I unlocked mine using flashtool.
Did everything as per instruction, but mine went int a bootloop
it seems this ROM is not working. everytime bootloop issues.......useless crap! lol

then in twrp..wiped cache ..data.. system..dalvik..n installed ur Zip. but after the completion it says No os found..r u sure.. if i say yes n reboot.. i get sony logo an blank then..i ve tried 3times..with out success..i had to use flash tool to get my xperia to work again..any how i got the stock lollipop ftf..but could not root it. any suggestions on how to root 14.5.a.0.242 ftf

Only issue: Back and Menu button doesn't work. So I got back to stock ROM. I will surely use it permanently when this issue fixed.

try using the nav bar instead? kitkat is so good with softkeys.

i installed this mod but after installing system ui is not responding.. i deleted the system ui odex file then resarted the mobile and now it is working correctly but i cant open task manager by pressing & holding the home button and power menu is also not coming by holding power button :'( please help

after installing this theme or mod (whatever u call this) i cant use task manager by pressing and holding the home button also there is no power menu when holding power button.

u need recovery 6.0.3+
and stock rom to do that(recommended).
better if u flash it from a stock deodexed..

is the backup from the new or the older recovery..? as it's not compatible
BTW..made it more clear..if you have no display..means it's black..? and if so it can't be from phone app... recover means restore..?

sorry..it works here..not sure if it's Rom related..try with a other Rom to test it..
i figured out an issue with this way of installing twrp & Samsung S-Health.
When installing twrp S-Health stop working, the splash screen appears and than s-health hang and nothing happens, can anybody confirm this issue?

delete cache and data from shealth should help..
Hi Alex,
unfortunately deleting of cache and data wont help.
Cache and data from shealth cleared but shealth hang on splash screen.... any other possibilities to get shealth running?

from what I hear..otg should work..
Deep sleep issue
FIrst of all, thanks for your job!
After I did your procedure everythings works fine except that my phone don't go deep sleep anymore, and it seems that deep sleep is prevented by bluetooth.
Bluetooth on --> no deep sleep
Bluetoth off --> deep sleep
Have you any idea about that ?

About this TWRP Recovery 2.8.7.1 and Root for G925F Android 5.1.1 could you please upload TWRP in tar format cos existing one is in recovery.img and most programs for this required root which i don't have yet unfortunately.

no idea ATM.. since i did not changed a thing in Bluetooth..also if i don't use Bluetooth i switch it off..since with and that for ages it will eat some battery..

the download is in Odin tar flash format.. if you extract that..than you are right there is a img inside the tar..
Root g425f 5.1.1 official
I updated my g425f to 5.1.1 without root, now I want to root, if possible without triggering the knox, but if not possible , I root even triggering the knox because the warranty is not lost in Brazil .
His method is to me?
