Camera is not focussing on any object. Why this bug is creeping in when the earlier version's camera is working fine... Disappointed..!!!

After flashing situation
Hi. I managed to flash this rom and so far ... so good !
THere are a few handicaps though. First the stock camera is not focusing. That's a big bug.
Also I lost root and the led lights aren't working in all colors.
Is there a solution for root ?

Ok I managed to fix both of this thing.
In modaco forum there is a fix for rooting. Just flashed the file from recovery and that was it.
For the light fix it's also easy I replaced (after gaining root again) Lights.default.so in / system / lib / hw /
Now the problem is that I'm having an error with the google play services (Inbox, gMail and other apps are not working)
I'll try to find a solution

Yes, CAMERA IS NOT FOCUSING... I mentioned that earlier too... For root, just use Philz recovery while flashing, it will ask for the missing root, and then apply it. Your phone will be rooted while flashing itself. I hope it helps.

Yes indeed, but something went wrong with the updates :/
I reflashed the rom without deleting the system files ( just cache and dalvik ...) and it went back to normal.
I noticed two more bugs,
when you plug the headphones it will ask you to configure some settings, that will crash the settings configuration.
another thing was with xposed app, the module of xposed addittions, was disconfiguring everything. power button go lost (i did the same fix has before with flashing the same rom).
As I said the LED colors can be fully enabled by replacing the file.
so far everything seems fine. I'll do further testing on the next days.

For now, the most stable version of MIUI is version 5.7.9
It only has a bluetooth bug, bluetooth sometimes connects and sometimes not.
Just due to that bug, I'm switching roms madly, trying to find out a nice rom with working bluetooth (as I am working on a bluetooth project, so need it badly). @pintothakur007 Please provide a stable MIUI... Its a humble request.

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

reporting bugs:
1 - report your bug in the forum of your device and see if other people having the same problem :crying:
2 - try to solve it with all the knowledge you can get :silly:
3 - if that doesn't work go to our support center and place your findings there, report your bug and which device you have , this way it goes straight to the developers
4 - only report a bug if your really sure it's not your own fould! --- clean install , stock kernel , no weird home manufacturing stuff ,etc,etc,

WIFI problem sometimes related to Recovery.
What Recovery you are using and what version?
I use TWRP 2.7.1.1

After your message i did a factory reset from TWRP but it didnt help.I think its related with rom not recovery

Recovery is usually never the issue. With our device it can be multiple issues. The kernel and the device tree do not match with the WiFi firmware/driver is most likely it.

Some roms Review
I tried yesterday latest miui rom 5.7.16 , S6 and resurrection Remix and All roms seems to good and I found resurrection Remix interesting as it is based on CyanogenMod but after patch 2 install it hangs on boot screen.
It will be great if some one rebuild CyanogenMod 12.1 without wifi password saving bug.

Hello. I tried to port this rom to my very old HTC Desire 828 (MTK6753). The ROM gets flashed.....but results in infinite bootloop. I know MIUI 8 is old but any help will be appreciated
