M7 Blown speaker replacement issue. - AT&T HTC One (M7)

I recently started to hear rattle from my top speaker on the m7, so i ordered a replacment online, but it too sounded blown and rattled when i put it in to the phone. i thought just bad luck and ordered 3 more from another seller on ebay, all those speakers sound bad as well. i am in the process of having replacements being shipped over from both sellers, but i dont understand why all four speakers would have the same issue. Has anyone had similar problems with their replacement speakers?
I tested first by inserting the speakers in the phone but it was getting tiring replacing speakers and it also started to damage my phone the repeated pulling of the boards and pushing them, so i found an audio amp that could play the speakers at usual levels, all of them rattle when not in the phone, next i had a htc frame laying around that i inserted them in after cleaning them with duct tape, they still rattle.
I cant seem to fix this issue. I am thinking of using a bottom speaker as a replacment for the top after possibly modifying it, it seems to be more powerful and resistant to wear, but has anyone tried this before, if so please tell me what modifications were made.

Check the headphone output for distorted sound. If so, the internal audio amplifier might be blown, and replacing the speakers will make no difference.

Two quick hardware questions about Aria for other owners

Received my Aria from Amazon this week. $339 for this thing is pretty sweet for a no-contract phone. This is my first Android phone and I really like it. Two items are bugging me. If everyone else has the same issues then I'm not going to worry about it.
1. Headphone jack seems a little hissy/staticy on podcasts and music with decent quality earbuds. More noticable on podcasts though. Probably just spoiled by my Zune and my Nokia 5800 as these devices make headphone output a top priority. Is this par for the course?
2. Flipping the phone over in a dark room there is a light leak around the right rear bottom screw hole showing through the cover. There is a little gap that is not there around the other holes. There is no light showing anywhere else. Almost looks like the hole for the cover was just cut slightly too large so it left a little gap. Nothing major, but just wanted to see if it was just my unit. I could definitely photograph it.
1. Audio quality for me seems decent. Then again I'm not an audiophile and have never had a Zine.
2. I have it too. Dann! Cannot unsee!

I have also noticed the hiss problem. It is readily apparent to me in listening to podcasts, but not music (except in parts containing silence).
The second part I am unsure of as I never bothered to look at the back of my phone in darkness. I'll do so later tonight and edit this post if I remember.
Edit: I just went into the bathroom with the lights off and the bottom right corner does show light through the screw hole. Maybe it allows you to orient the phone when looking at the back in complete darkness?

Hiss
after reading the posts on the Hiss on the HTC Aria. I searched Google-HTC aria hiss and came up with several major phone reviewers writing about hearing the hiss sounds on calls. they didnt mention if the hiss was coming from the earbud but this will change my mind about purchasing the ARia.
with music you wont hear it but my ears cant stand hiss on phone calls as they are many slient spots in conversation.
With decent headphones there is most definitely hiss coming from the headphone out. I've tried it with several different compression formats. It's not horrible, but there is more than exists on a DAP. It's unfortunate if you care about quality at all, but the phone will still work as a backup player I guess.

[Q] Headphone jack failing

Hey all, the headphone jack on my Note has been getting progressively worse. Most times i can rotate the male side of the plug to get a stereo signal. Just yesterday, it broke so as to only play mono audio out of the left channel.
My question is, has anyone ever tried replacing the jack on the note motherboard? Does anyone know if it's a surface mount or through hole soldered? How about a place to source the part?
Please note, i am doing my due diligence and searching, but i also want to get the real-world opinions of anyone that's tried this level of repair. I'll still be looking for the answers to the above questions on my own, but any help you guys can render would be most appreciated.
I've had to replace mine twice, because Samsung considers it "physical damage" and won't cover it under the warranty. They are using a really low quality headphone jack. It's a small board the includes both the jack and the earpiece speaker. It's held on with a screw and adhesive. There's how-to videos on YouTube that will show you how to remove it. I got my replacement parts for about $20 from a cell phone repair store on eBay (sorry, I don't have a link). No soldering involved, it's only attached by a ribbon that's easily removed.
Not much traffic here OP because there was a lengthy thread last week about this.

[Q] Switch phone call speaker?

So I fell into water with my new HTC one a few weeks ago and I was able to dry everything out and get the phone working. It was actually almost perfect except for there being some static through the speaker when on phone calls. There is however no static in speaker phone. Well just now the speaker became worse and now I can barely hear people on the phone. I was wondering if there is anyway the speaker can be switch to the other speaker that uses speaker phone while on calls?

So if I am understanding this clearly, the speaker you put up next to your ear has static, but the dual speakers for the loud speakers work well?

Yeah. I used to be able to still make out what people say when I put it up to my ear even with the static but it has gotten worse now to the point that I cant understand them. The dual speaker works perfect.
The two speakers that you speak of I believe are separate from the headset speaker that is used for when the phone is placed to your head. I was looking at some tear down pictures from ifixit but couldn't really make out anything.
It must be very cumbersome, but at least the phone works after being in the water.
Edit: This may sound weird, but back when I had a 4th gen iPod with a touch wheel, most people including me had problems where the headphones sounded like they were blown out and producing static. Not sure where I heard to do this, but putting the inside of the headphone barely on your lips and blowing in and sucking would make the speaker push in and out. Weirdly enough, this fixed the problem we had with the headphones.
Not saying that you should try this, but I wonder if the speaker needs to be flexed and pushed around a bit.
Yeah it sucks that I can't talk to anyone without having the phone on speakerphone. I attempted the blowing in technique but didn't seem to do anything. Thanks for the idea. What I was really hoping for was that there was a software way to porting the incoming calls to the other speakers (speaker phone speakers) on low volume. I am not sure if this is possible though.

Issue with headphones and sound

Hello,
I'm experiencing sound issues on an I9300, which I bought used. The phone indicates that there are headphones inserted, which leads to no sound from the loud speaker or the earpiece. Using Soundabout I can get them both back, which leads to hardware problem and means I cannot use any headphones.
I have cleaned the 3.5mm jack using a match and duct tape, also with a cotton swab, moistened with alcohol. Didn't help me with the issue so I've decided to buy a whole new loud speaker module. After testing it I found out that the problem isn't actually caused by the jack. When I disassembled the phone I have found some spots. The phone has likely been moistened. The spots looked caused by muddy water or probably cola, because some parts were stuck. Then I got pretty convinced that the issue is with the motherboard.
On the Internet I have found a motherboard treatment with isopropyl alcohol. I've bathed the MB for 10 minutes in that liquid, then let it dry but didn't work either.
Buying another MB would probably solve the problem, but I'm looking for alternative options. I gave $80 for the phone and a new MB costs $30. I'd just get rid of the phone instead, but I just don't feel like buying a low-end phone, either spending all my savings on a high-end one because the Archidroid experience, thanks to JustArchi, is pretty much all what I'm looking for.
Spoiler
Sorry for my English, I'm trying my best.

Speaker not working after Screen and Frame Replacement

Hello if there is anyone out there who can help I recently switched out my screen on my lgv30+ ls998 and for some reason my loud speaker doesn't work. I've ordered another one off ebay and that one didn't work either. Not sure what's going on. The pins look like they are touching the correct places.
I'm not sure how relevant it is, but when putting the ZTE Axon 7 back together I put in the speaker backwards (really hard to tell) and it (obviously) didn't work. Screw around with the orientation and see if things change?
The LG v30 has a contact pin situation with almost all of the hardware components including the speakers which makes it easy to put in and out. I just can't understand y the speaker isn't working out of all things. I tried to finesse the placement of the pins a little but still nothing. I just keep getting an extremely faint crackling noise from it

Did you ever find a solution to this issue?
I replaced the screen and frame on my LG V30 a couple of days ago and I am having the exact same problem.
