Ok

MiXplorer is the best file manager. It's an all in one package. I used to think that es is best but after using mixplorer it is the best.

(Invite) Themed template

This is a method to install custom topbar themes without ADB.
I invite anyone to post their custom framework-res.apk and service.jar files in this thread for everyone to share.
I have included a Zip template that contains the framework-res.apk and service.jar, which you can replace, once people have posted them here. You can then use Clockwork recovery to install the Zip from SD card and apply the theme to your own de-odexed Rom (I don't think it will work with odexed file system).
Just follow the steps bellow to install.
Step 1. Download the Theme template here http://www.mediafire.com/?h6ey9w7pmwyhxev (thanks to Adlxdum for this file. Attached link at the bottom of the page also)
Step 2. Download custom framework-res.apk and service.jar files e.g. http://www.mediafire.com/?8et1sf1xl215bzz (thanks to Shamo42 for this file. Attached link at the bottom of the page also)
Step 3. Using Win Rar or similar, replace the framework-res.apk and service.jar files in the template found in system/framework with your downloaded custom files and save.
Step 4. Place your newly created Zip file anywhere on your SD card.
Step 5. Reboot to enter Clockwork recovery. Follow link on how to install if necessary
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875233
Step 6. Select install Zip from SD card, select your custom file and install. Once installed reboot, and thats it, you have a new theme!
Check out my one in the shots below.

To be able to flash the zip, you have to resign it once you have modified the files using testsign.jar (or autosigner...). Or maybe you can instruct the CWM recovery to skip signature verification (never tried that).

I tested this myself, and I didn't need to do that. I just replaced the files and installed with no problems. The screenshots show your original file "adlxmod-Defy-Froyo-DarkBarOnly.1-signed.zip" with Shamo42 framework and service files in place of yours, and that's what you get. Any idea why I didn't need to resign the zip?

, I guess CWM doesn't check the signature then :-D

[Q] Making a CWM Flashable ZIP?

Hi guys,
I'm turning to Resurrection Remix from Stock ROM, but I misses some of the stock apps. So before I moved to another ROM i have all the APKs and ODEXs ready. But after I build the ZIP with all the necessary directory and the updater-script file build using notepad++, CWM won't install it?
Any solutions? Thanks a million.

In the first folder data, are ur apps like apk file.
In the folder meta inf are 2 file's.
Update binary and updater script.
In updater script is the script u can edit for ur cwm install routine.
I edited the script for the apk that not installed.
That's my way.

There is a problem with the Update Script in your ROM, which does not allow MultiROM installs. There is an updated Update-Script for your ROMs that allow Multi ROM installations.
MOD EDIT: LInk removed
Thank you all in advance!

You just need to replace the updater-script, it is located in \META-INF\com\google\android\ inside rom zip file.
Extract rom zip, replace the script with the extracted file and repack the zip again, flash it.
However, it doesn't work with all roms but works with most of the CM based roms.

use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-superrw-featuring-makerw-read-write.4247311/
you need to resize your system image and flash it back. i can do it if you want or use that tool there. in a terminal or with adb shell do:
cat /dev/block/mapper/system_a >/sdcard/system_fixme.img
or give me a link to your stock rom
