No side effect at all..it will help you to increase your performance and you will have full control over your system..
only demerit is,your warranty will be lost but it can be restored after flashing stock rom again

Yes i am using a grand 2 also.
Knox tripper will work with all firmware..even if you don't use the knox tripper provided,it can be done with supersu app also..after you flash the root, when the phone boots, wait for 5 min. then open supersu app,it will ask you to disable knox..select yes and it will be done,if gives error, restart phone and open supersu app again..done.

Flashing Official ROM will solve your problem.
But you will lose the root.

I dont get updates by ota nor by kies i am nt able to install coz of modified my system.. and i dont get my current firmware stock as well in sam mobile or smsung updates to install and unroot it. I have to do it manually .and super su also not opening while opening it saying to update and not able to update as well .
Phone screen get blue and restart and i checked super su it get opened .. i dnt knw what happened but it get opened now.. now i have to unroot it by clicking permanent unroot in super su
Forget about ota update bcoz rooted device never get ota update so I guess theres only one way to unroot your device
That is -Flash it using odin with the same firmware on which your rooted device is running now. Flasing earlier version of firmware will brick your device:thumbup::thumbup:

Positive, Knox is only tripped when installing custom recovery via Odin or an app, also using cf-autoroot via Odin will trip Knox too.

After King Root, use Super Su Me to remove King root with its slightly alarming permissions and replace with Super SU - worth the small price.

I successfully rooted my A3 (A300FU) with KingRoot then removed and replaced to SuperSU with this method: http://zidroid.com/how-to-get-ride-and-replace-kinguser-with-supersu-app/
We need to slightly modify the script due to different mount points, but after SuperSU installs and updates flawlessly. And the best of it: phone keeps rooted after reboot, and KNOX isn't affected. (0x0)

If you flashed a custom recovery before, then your KNOX is already tripped. If you haven't I suggest to reflash a stock rom from samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com with ODIN. Anyway I dont know if it's possible to apply zip updates via stock recovery, I haven't tried it yet.

Found a way! Using flashfire
I have used Kingroot on my A3 (SM-A300FU) and KNOX flag is 0. If you don't trust on Kinroot (like me) you can remove then.
I have used the second method and works fine: https://www.droidmen.com/remove-replace-kingroot-kinguser-with-supersu
